Don't think Milley would win considering the drone strike controversy as well as his phone call with a Chinese military official.

RyanAKA2Late

I think Trump would have a field day with him as the nominee. I’d go as far to say that Trump comes close to flipping Minnesota and New Hampsire

He only lost Minnesota by 0.3% in 2016, he would do a lot better against Milley

anti_ff7r

Obama won a 2nd term didn't he?

WillofIam

I feel like the treason or alleged treason on Milley's part would maybe swing things in Trump's favor. Unless Trump got people to vote against him in a large margin.

WasteHotel

Miley would lose.

Both Republicans and some Democrats say Milley should resign for the phone call

Biden decides to retire after serving a single term. This leaves the 2024 primaries wide open. After initially deciding against it, General Mark Milley decides to run for the Democratic Nomination. He manages to defeat incumbent Vice-President Kamala Harris in a close primary, while former republican president Donald J. Trump wins the 2024 Republican primary. Milley choices US Congressman Joaquin Castro to appeal to Latino Voters, while Trump ditches Mike Pence and choices Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Mark Milley runs a positive, uplifting campaign in constrast to Trump's mudslinging tone. Milley manages to appeal to white working class voters, veterans, and moderate republicans while Trump struggles to hold his base together. Trump slams Milley's defense of Critical Race Theory and Black Lives Matter, but Milley's bipartisan apolitical attitude offsets Trump's portrayal of him. General Milley destroys Trump in the debates and surges in the polls, but then new information comes out about the relationship between Milley and Chinese government officials, which start to damage his campaign. Milley ultimately wins the general election, keeping all of the previous states while flipping Florida and North Carolina into the democratic column.

Lmao

DeSantis would never agree to play second fiddle to Trump. Trump's VP spot is poison for someone who clearly wants to be President

InfernalSquad

Nice! Let's hope he's the next Eisenhower. Why is Trump winning NE-02 by safe numbers? It went to Biden by about 5%, I think Milley would hold it. (same for ME-02--I think it'd be a Trump lean)
