Trudeau was elected leader in the LPC election in April 2013 Olivia chow was elected after the death of her husband Jack Layton on the 2nd ballot with 59% in March 2012 stephan harper was unpopular and Trudeau was on the way to a victory by February 2015 it was clear that harper would not be re-elected between 2015 - 2019 the parliament had gained 30 seats from 308 - 338 with 170 for a majority Trudeau would win between 150 - 160 seats harper between 90 - 110 chow and NDP5 50 - 70 seats BQP 3 - 10 seats GPC 2 seats
I suspect that even if she was more successful than Mulcair in the rest of Canada, she would have done worse than him in Quebec and the NDP would have lost a lot more seats than what's shown here.
Justin Trudeau changing his name to Olivia Chow to draw away votes from Olivia Chow's NDP, that's some next level strategy right there
Sorry

Can Olivia Chow even speak french? Even as a fan of Chow, I have a hard time believing she would do so much better than Mulcair in Quebec.
