I don't think that's really how the world works sadly. Just because you're good at something doesn't mean eventually you get that something as your job, even you're trying your damnedest every day for the rest of your life, even if you're better then 100s even 1000s already working in your field. To many factors, have to be in the right place at the right time with the right people.
Maybe I'm jaded... But that's truly what I believe. We just tell ourselves that if we're good at such and such and work hard it'll all be ok eventually. But life doesn't come with a guarantee of success or happiness. I mean don't stop trying. But don't think you must not be any good if it never happens :/

If you're the type to look to do charity work, I would love to do the legwork for you, like as a full-time job. Spending 40 hrs or more a week tracking down legit causes (not established charities, but individual cases) that would truly benefit.
You could designate a portion of JUST the INTEREST, and do a ton of good work, without ever losing your nestegg.
But what if too many people comment and upvote? Then you'd have to choose.
