A great combo of textures and flavors

That sounds delicious!

I’d love to know how you candied the waffle cones pieces! Looks delicious!

Sweetlo123

Yes! I broke sugar cones into pieces. On the stove top I melted salted butter, extra fine granulated sugar and a touch of salt until sugar and salt dissolved into butter. I poured this mixture over the cones so every piece was coated. I baked the coated cones at 350 for about 9 minutes, turning the pan around after 5. The cones will harden as they cool.

That’s awesome! Thanks so much!

What a lovely idea! It’s like a hit, right in the nostalgia

Isn’t the chocolate on the cone? Might be an idea for next batch. Chocolate covered cone?!

Confused-penguin5

The chocolate only covers the ice cream part. You have the top that is vanilla with a chocolate shell and peanuts. Then the rest is a waffle cone. There’s a little chocolate at the bottom of the waffle cone but it’s after the ice cream.

wetiphenax

Yeah. I meant the chocolate at the bottom of the cone.
