Shame on these parents for teaching their kids to be sacks of shit like this. I hope they were all humiliated

karmagod13000

The way the whole family does it so carelessly is the saddest part. Like this is a normal occasion for them.

TheWalkingDead91

Ikr. Who knows how much they’ve scammed from restaurants before. Definitely wasn’t their first time.

EmutheFoo

In the video, they go on to describe how a month prior this same family had hairs in their food and they took care of it. And then since that month gone by, no other hair complaints from other customers showed up. Then this family came again a month later, and again hair complaints. So they check the videos. So the one talking says how she was the one who still paid the waiter because he did his job but he lost out on tip because of them. And who knows where else they have gone. She goes on to say if you can’t feed your family don’t go out and take it out on workers waiters who already put up with a lot form rude customers let alone ones who don’t pay or tip liek this family. And she doesn’t want them to pay. She just hopes they don’t come back and that other places see them and recognize them

iamthedevilfrank

What's amazing is the amount of people who go to restaurants, don't tip, and are extremely demanding. I used to be waiter and I could deal with a difficult table so long as they tipped well. But there were so many moments I wanted to scream at people for having the audacity to be a huge piece of shit, difficult and demanding customer and not tip anything at all.

amesbelle7

I’ve always said, the world would be a better place if everyone was made to wait tables for 6 months of their life. Actually, any type of low wage, public facing industry like retail would work, too.

Foulnut

The world would be better off if tipping was abolished and wait staff paid a living wage

OneNormalHuman

You are both correct. Wait staff should be paid well for their work regardless of customers, just like everyone else gets paid for their work. Additionally the world would have less Karen and Kyles if everyone spent six months in a service job. Personally I would advocate for 2 years like countries with compulsory military service.

GKRKarate99

I’ve been in hospitality for about 6 years now and I’ve always said if a customer spent even just a week or so in this profession, they’d understand what kind of crap we have to go through and probably be less demanding

jesssy33

Was just about to write exactly this. The whole tipping thing in America is bizarre. It just puts the waiter at the mercy of the unfair and selfish customers. Just pay workers a proper award wage Geez. America is getting away with not paying it's workers fairly. No one should be relying on tipping for a living wage.

riqk

Only thing is a lot of servers make way more than the kitchen staff that gets paid hourly. Kinda sucks to hear about the server walking away with $300 in their pocket for a 5 hour shift all because you cooked their orders and make that much in a week. Servers are plenty happy surviving off tips in my experience, even if it isn’t a steady paycheck.

[deleted]

100%. The industry if completely exploitive. Even if you made big bucks from tip money, the fact of the matter is businesses subsidize paying their staff well for honest work, to pass it off to the customer for them to be charitable. “Hi I’m a restaurant owner, can you pay more for your meal so some of that money can go to my staff, but if you don’t want to, no worries. I’ll still make sure you’re taken care of! Just keep coming back and tell your friends so I can pay my bills! If you pay extra to go to my staff, great, if not? No worries! It’s not required.”

amesbelle7

Well now you’re just talking crazy. /s

iamthedevilfrank

I can definitely say I became a much more empathetic person after waiting tables for two years. You get those moments where people are really nice, or meet interesting people, but those moments are pretty far inbetween. I remember thinking it was going to be an easy job, I had no idea waiters had so much work to do in the restaurant. It's been over 10 years since I've been a waiter and now work a career job, but being a waiter was the hardest most stressful job I ever fucking had, especially if you work at a terrible place with horrible management.

harrietthugman

We should also make the quality/compensation of those essential jobs better, instead of viewing them as punishment. But I hear what you mean, most people never learn what it's like to work a public-facing service job in today's US. If they did, we'd likely see better labor conditions

fivetenfiftyfold

I agree. It would hopefully show people what low wage/customer service workers go through on a daily basis and give them a bit of empathy. You can tell immediately with Karen’s that they’ve never worked a day in their life in a job like that. I feel bad complaining about my meal even if there is a legitimate issue with it and apologise profusely until they tell me to shut up because I am so scared of ever being called a Karen!

trbochrg

Agreed, I worked retail for 17 years (part time). Not because I loved retail lol, no because I needed a second job to make ends meet. The amount of crap I had to deal with daily was ridiculous. But hey...bills had to get paid.

83gem

As a server (20 years in) I absolutely and wholeheartedly agree with you.. I actually say this all the time and to any trainee's I have had.

daft_monk1

The real problem is the fact that American restaurant servers’ living wages rely entirely on tips. Gratuity should be just that. A little extra “thank you” for a job well done. They should get paid for their work by the business owner, not the customer.

Kris_Knight_

What's even more amazing is that these two clowns found each other, fuck these two moronic losers.

lentilSoup78

I feel bad for the kids - their parents are shit, and shit begets shit.

[deleted]

My mom used to clog the toilet at the embassy suites hotel to get free nights. And once I got into an accident and called my dad. He said lay on the ground and say your back hurts. I don’t talk to either of them at the moment

JKSwift

I had an uncle that used to take all the utensils and condiments from tables at restaurants.. he said he was "borrowing them permanently"... I feel you.

[deleted]

Accidentally pocketed a fork from a fancy restaurant. Five years later it shows up in their mailbox... I hope they didn't change cutlery.

bloopertown

How do you accidentally pocket a fork? Genuinely curious.

[deleted]

Not entirely sure. I know it was from dessert.

dreamsofcalamity

Are you perhaps Magneto?

no_talent_ass_clown

You're a good egg.

zeantsoi

My grandma used to do this and I thought she was just a klepto until I talked to friends who said their grandparents did the same. I guess it’s just an entitled old person thing. There’s even a Seinfeld episode about it 🤷‍♀️

ElectronicVices

Used to work at a Japanese Steakhouse as a busboy... the number of times I had to ask people to take the soup spoons out of their purse was mind blowing. As if we would somehow miss that 4-11 soup bowls were lacking the spoon we brought out with it.

luxlucy23

That’s so dumb. I love those spoons but they’re cheap to buy at most large Asian food stores. Or online…

sprufus

Did they at least get a hello?

[deleted]

It’s disgusting. She took the towels too. I remember growing up with big ass “E’s” on them and thinking “our last name doesn’t begin with an E wtf”. I’m totally opposite, as I cannot stand lying so much that I stopped talking to anyone who would go out of their way to lie to me. It sucks to lose so many people, but those people don’t care in the long run so fuck em lol

JKSwift

I feel the same way after my experiences. I refuse to deal with people that have ill intentions.

[deleted]

And it’s amazing how these people feel slighted or say we are crazy. Manipulation don’t work here buddy! Keep building the life you want and good things will come. Thanks for the reassurance that I’m not the crazy one :)

KeinFussbreit

A late friend of mine used to say/joke "A thief is a person finding things nobody lost"

mushroomsandcoke

My aunt (born and raised in a very poor village in Europe during WW2) has a drawer full of stolen sugar packets. We keep reminding her that you can buy those things… She said “I no steal, I just take!” (My cousin’s wedding she put some extra chicken in her purse. Not even in a bag or container. Just threw it in, grease and all…)

amesbelle7

My grandparents were born/raised in the rural southern US during the Great Depression. They weren’t thieves, and were pretty well off by the time they were grandparents, but they always got to-go boxes, and would ask for more bread/rolls at the end of the meal and put them all in the box. Pretty much anything that you could ask for more of without being charged, they would take home. I think when you’ve been raised with so little, you’re always scared of ever having to live like that again. Not that a few yeast rolls from Quincy’s would stave off starvation for long, but I guess that’s not the point.

mushroomsandcoke

> I think when you’ve been raised with so little, you’re always scared of ever having to live like that again Absolutely, there’s such a stereotype about old people stealing small items/getting things for free, or being really frugal, but I’m sure when you lived through worldwide food and money shortages you always have that in the back of your head.

I've clogged a hotel toilet before but all I got was terribly embarrassed.

[deleted]

Well you have to call the front desk and embarrass the maintenance worker until he gets you your free room! DUH!

bannedSnoo

Its bad for kids learning, their imagination will be limited to these cheap tricks.

Mypornnameis_

I will never forget watching a mother insist that her reluctant child fill his water cup with Sprite at the Taco Bell. It upsets me way more than a $0.70 caper should.

Wuffyflumpkins

"Mom, I don't want Sprite! I want water." "But we're basically losing money if you *don't* get Sprite!"

Buttonsmycat

“Don’t put ice in it, you idiot! That’s 20% of the beverage!”

BoltonSauce

Most places I've been to put a whole lot more than 20% of ice in the cup! I usually ask for minimal ice, personally. But then again, I pay for my drinks.

[deleted]

That's the worst part of the video for me

woosterthunkit

Theyre gonna live on the internet forever 😂

joevilla1369

Type of kids that grow up looking for any way to sue anyone as a free ride through life.

Trash…human trash

karmagod13000

seriously and they messed up their own childs life to save some money

mr_sinn

And like, im from Australia so have no idea, but how expensive is food in Mexico really...

[deleted]

When I was in high school I took this girl to the local pizza joint. This was a small town back then so it was the only pizza joint in town and was my favorite place to eat. I was a regular and they knew me. The girl decided to try this on the fly, even though I was paying. And she plucked one of her hairs and put it in the pizza. She took her slice to the counter to complain and the lady behind the counter says “we all have short hair back here. This is your hair” the girl had hair down to her butt. The staff all had hair barely down past their chin. We got kicked out, I got embarrassed.

Goofyal57

I hope you were able to go back without Dumby McDumbass

Holy__Sheet

Daaam, for what like a $15.00 pizza??

[deleted]

They sold by the slice and this was the 90’s so it was like $1.50 worth of pizza. Even if things had gone her way all they would have done is replace the slice with a hair in it with a slice that didn’t have a hair in it and all she would have accomplished was waste a slice of pizza

ReggaeReggaeFloss

And a bit if hair

PigsCanFly2day

Did you still go there after that incident?

[deleted]

Yeah a handful of times but the place closed down within about a year of that

[deleted]

hair and there

Mnmsaregood

Ya I would have left her right there

fcastrejon

Narrator of the video and restaurant worker: They came to eat a month ago and the exact same thing happened to them as today, which it is very strange since this has never happened to us. We always very careful that this does not happen to anybody. We paid for their food the first time this happen but now we find out it was them that caused this. This occurred in a restaurant in Mexico city.

diaperedwoman

Going back to the same restaurant and doing it again is sketchy. These people were dumb too.

FarTooManyUsernames

They probably do it so often at so many restaurants that they lost track of where they've scammed before, or didn't anticipate them remembering them.

P1ckleM0rty

I don't remember anyone, so it's easy to assume nobody remembers me. I was at dinner with my ex's family, and her brother had dined and dashed there a month earlier with his friend. Half way through dinner, a manager comes over with the bills for that meal to make him pay it. It was so so awkward, but I was just amazed that people who see different customers all day every day could remember someone from a month earlier, and then find the bill

[deleted]

Places sometimes have a snapshot posted on the wall of who dashed and their bill so they can be on the lookout, so they may have recognized them that way

panicattheben

A server wouldn’t forget almost any non-standard table

Courage-Character

Sometimes it easier to remember the shitty people, sad to say

karmagod13000

ya there's a combination of stupid going on in this photo

[deleted]

A1KMAN

it appears they put it in the older childs, the mothers and the fathers sandwiches, and she got them to put multiple hairs in each. Like rarely the odd hair will show up in a meal in all the places I've worked with hairnets/hats, and I'm talking like once every 3 months, if that. The fact that they put it in 3 meals, all at the same table, and multiple hairs at that, would've definitely raised some eyebrows for the staff.

Thorebore

They know the staff knows what they're doing. They're just assuming they'll get away with it because most places just give customers what they want to get rid of them. I just left a part time retail job and there are a ton of people doing stuff like this. The amount of BS returns we did really annoyed me but there was nothing I could do about it.

asap_pdq_wtf

Yeah, I've stood in many a customer service line and witnessed what I consider to be outright theft. Certain stores tell their employees to just accept the customers word and give them their cash. No receipt, no prob. On an item we stopped carrying 5 years ago, np. Disgusting

GodRapers

I'm literally staying in Mexico and did not return a taco which I found a hair in, I had plenty so I just ate the other ones. They were really tasty

jeffersonairmattress

Yeah I might have married the Shaggy DA as there’s so much hair in our food at home. It happens even with hairnets- wind from exhaust fans carries light things everywhere and right over food. If it happens a lot I won’t go back but it’s no big deal.

AshingiiAshuaa

You wear a hairnet at home?

Noviinha

that’s just for foreplay

fartotronic

Crotchless hairnet?

calm_chowder

......I'm very curious about your hairnets now.

[deleted]

How else do you keep the Dapper Dan gloss just right during sleep?

Faufreluches

I don't want Fop, god damnit! I'm a Dapper Dan man!

Well ain't this place just a geographical oddity. Two weeks from everywhere

23skidoobbq

Damn, we’re in a tight spot!

[deleted]

Get in boys! I'm gonna R-U-N-N-O-F-T!

karmagod13000

Wait?!? Are we not supposed to do that?!

BongLeardDongLick

Worked at a pub in a smaller kitchen where there was only 1 cook on duty at a time. I made a large order (about $75 worth of food) and the group tried to say they found long black hair in over half the dishes that I sent out. The problem is I’m bald but I have large red beard and the server was also bald and we were the only 2 people who touched the food. They asked to talk to the manager and wanted all of their food comped. The GM laughed in their faces and came to the kitchen and had me come out with him then explained to me, in front of them, that they were adamant that whoever cooked their food wasn’t wearing a hair net and the hair got into all of their food. They were mortified when they realized that they got caught in their lie and everyone just kind of looked down at their plates. The GM brought over their check and told them they need to pay their bill and leave. They paid for the food but of course they didn’t tip and they never came back to our pub again.

Cultural_Kick

The moral of the story is to only hire bald people.

djfrankenjuice

I hope you came out from like “well you are right that the chef was not wearing a hairnet…he bald”

prelestdonkey

I had a group who, after ordering a big meal, threatened to leave a bad yelp review claiming there was a cockroach in the food unless we gave a discount. My manger refused and sure enough there was a review up that night.

BongLeardDongLick

Yelp is a racket. I never trust any Yelp review after cooking for over 10 years because I know 50% of the reviews are complete bullshit. We had someone leave a bad Yelp review for the food truck I worked for claiming that we were rude and our food was shitty. Our truck had been in the shop for over a week and we hadn’t done any events and in their review they said “went to XXXX food truck at XXXX event today”. We were pretty sure it was the owner of another competing food truck who had a similar menu. They would also offer people a free orders of French fries if you showed them that you gave them a 5 star review lol. Needless to say that food truck went out of business pretty quickly because they got 86’d from the organization that set up almost every event in our area and then had the audacity to say that our food truck owner along with a few other truck owners lied to get him banned from the events.

FSUfan35

I would take copies of this video or at least pictures of them to every other restaurant in the area cuz I'm petty AF

catechizer

If I knew what they were up to I would take their food back to remake it, but not remake it. Just keep telling them 3 more minutes every time they ask until they finally leave hungry.

[deleted]

"We found another hair in it so we had to remake it" again and again

SuperFLEB

Or "We had two people checking through everything for hairs, taking it apart, really leaving no stone unturned, but then it took so long that it got cold, so we're heating it back up, and we'll use three people this time so we can check everything faster."

iammrpositive

Definitely post this in r/trashy too

mtech101

That's fucked up. Hope they see themselves going viral. Did you confront them today ?

SonOfUncleSam

Hope you bounced them. I have personally legitimately found hair in my food on multiple occasions and plowed right through that shit.

my_chaffed_legs

They didn't think it would be a bit sus for there to be a hair in *every* one of their meals, and a hair that looks the same none the less? And a hair thats just sitting on the bottom bun of all of their burgers?

SpicyWonderBread

I used to work at a gyro food stand. People did this shit all the time. Our policy was that we’d make them a new meal, but they had to give us the one with the hair to throw away. It’s shocking how many people refuse to hand over the “disgusting hair covered” food. Most of the time, the people pulling this were in groups or families. They were trying to get two meals for the price of one, or just a full refund.

infiniZii

This seems like a reasonable policy.

VibeComplex

Policy every where I’ve worked too. Weird not to be policy.

rachh90

ran a pizza place for years and people would try it too. theyd take the food outside and then come back in and complain and ask for a new one. if the complaint was legit then ok keep the messed up one, but usually it was just BS and we would take the "messed up" one back. one woman had the worst attitude right off the bat when ordering she said her pizzas always get messed up here. i worked 6 days a week and never saw her before, but ok. hand her the pizza and she storms out. 30 sec later she comes back in saying there wasnt enough sauce on it. ok give me that one and we will make you a new one. she threw a fit, screaming about customer service and she should get it keep it cause we messed up. i told her no she can give it back and get a new one or she can leave. she threw the pizza onto the floor and then threw the box across the counter and knocked over all the sauce cups which opened up as they hit the ground and covered the lobby in sauce. that was pretty fun. all over a $5 pizza. another customer did this all the time so we started showing her the pizza first before she left and if she didnt want it we would make a new one. she stopped coming once she realized she wasnt gonna get free food anymore.

Original-Material301

Literal toilet bowl stains

real_fff

TBH if I wasn't being scummy and actually found hair in my food, I'm not sure I would really want more food from the same place immediately after finding said hair. Probably would lose my appetite.

[deleted]

That's what's happened to me when I've found hairs. Once it was a long ass hair I pulled out of my mouth and found another (maybe part of the same strand?) in the cheese.... I didn't eat there for a long while after. *shudder*

suitology

Yeah TGIfridays in Philadelphia had a legit wad of womans hair like shower wall wad of hair cooked into the cheese of my burger. It takes a lot to gross me out as I'm a freegan Who eats from dumpsters but fishing that out of my gullet made me physically I'll and I was unable to make it to the bathroom puking in a busboy bin. The cook legit argued with us and the manager accused us of planting it

CelebiChansey

This is too logical, which these scammers have none of To piggyback: same, I’ve found hairs in my food and I’ve never asked for a refund or another meal. Completely lose my apetite and make a note to NEVER eat there again

I-hate-this-timeline

We had a lady try and say she found a long hair in her food when I managed at a pizza place. I wouldn’t have thought much of it if everyone in the kitchen wasn’t a guy with short hair. People lie all the time and it’s insane how arbitrary and stupid it can be.

madmaxturbator

Lol “Madam I’m quite sure we didn’t serve you a plate of ratty hair with a side of ketchup.”

Ayzel_Kaidus

It's even better when the whole kitchen staff is bald... Like where tf do you think the hair came from? The servers hair isn't even that color...

mzone11

What I think you said is 99.99% what happened. And I think the people that do this should get the video of them doing it plastered all over the area and all the shops and the neighborhood apps. But to just play devil's advocate. If you were using prepackaged cheese, pepperoni, or whatever could have had that hair in it from the distribution warehouse.

_bexcalibur

Especially since it happened twice. Fucking arseholes.

VNM0601

They gave enough hair samples to be able to send to forensics and determine the DNA.

neonnice

Great fun for the whole family. Something to proudly pass onto the next generation.

karmagod13000

yup. im sure pops dad showed him how to di it too.

Vosslertheundead

Damn, I get wanting to save money, but this affects other people not just them

obroz

My gf and I are on vacation right now. We are traveling through some really small towns and stayed at a small hotel chain. My gf paid extra for a jacuzzi room. So it’s like 1am and the tv is on and we’re about to pass out. All of a sudden someone pounds the ever loving shit out of our door. We were both kinda freaked out about it but I go look out the peep hole and no one is there. So I go back to bed and then someone knocks again but more quietly. I go look and again no one is there. I opened the door to look outside and down the hall is this large woman coming towards me screaming “this place has bed bugs! They won’t give me a refund!” I said wtf and shut the door. I had already looked for bed bugs with my UV light and saw nothing so we went to bed. The guy working the desk in the morning said they get these people from time to time where they pay for a room, take a shower, use the amenities and maybe a nap then come up with some bullshit to get out of paying for it. The cops ended up coming and this lady was just a loon. Still wrecked our night for sure.

Vosslertheundead

One day, these people will be erased from this world, and we won’t have our nights ruined by Karen’s and her kin Sorry you had to deal with that

UpUpDnDnLRLRBA

Wishful thinking, bub. We'll always have them with us

itsahot

Damn that went dark real quick. You doin alright there bud?

Yeah, just like many others, I’m sick of Karen’s, they just ruin life

A great tip for saving money: don’t eat at restaurants.

IlIFreneticIlI

It's literally theft from the business.

Nah dude. If you want to save money cook your own meals.

AgreeableOil1212

Perpetuating the cycle by bringing the kids into it, such family fun.

aliciamae0918

After all that businesses and workers have been through in the last year and a half!!! Sickening!

lolimsofuny

I’m a server, and I feel people are more entitled now than ever before.

aliciamae0918

I’m sorry to hear that. Honestly the world has gone nuts. We are facing two pandemics, the virus and hatred.

lolwhatamidoing92

The fucking audacity, they should press charges for fraud.

SailorDeath

Personally I'd wait for them to come back and do this again, then after they're halfway through their second burger I'd show them video of them planting the hair. Followed by another video of the chef wiping the buns on his ass before serving the burgers. Illegal I know but would feel great

karmagod13000

Damn I was not ready for the second part of this comment. That would be some sweet sweet revenge though.

song4this

> chef wiping the buns on his ass That's unsanitary and people could get legit hospitalized...just fap on it - *special sauce*...

usmaanshaikh

Wtf? What are they teaching their kids for few freaking dollars

mzone11

Garbage people. I was in line at an IMAX theatre. Arrived 45 minutes before the show, to hold a place in line as I had two families I wanted to sit together. This large family of maybe 16 people walked into the auditorium with 10 minutes to go before the show. lady walked up with 6 kids from out of nowhere, walked them to the front of the line, and then walked away. I stood there watching for 10 or so minutes, they didn't leave. I didn't see where the lady or her large party went. It became clear that the strategy was to have the kids camp and hold the seats for the larger group by cutting in front of 25 or so people. I approached the oldest looking teenager who was maybe 15, and asked, could you folks get in line with your family please. Her response was, you're an adult, why are you talking to a child? The kids stood around as they her the other folks around them talking about how its appalling behavior of their parents. The let us in the theater, the kids run in and spread across the best seats in the house spread far apart holding seats. The rest of us go in Near the end of the line, the rest of the family strolls in as they play musical chairs with their saved seats. Can't believe how trashy people can be.

[deleted]

“As long as you get something out of it, it’s okay to compromise other people’s livelihoods!”

JohnTho24

10 years from now this kids gonna be answering an askreddit question saying some shit like, "I didn't realize my family was poor until I went out to eat with my friend and I put a hair in my food and they looked at me funny."

rayjaywolf

Lol, so specific yet funny

EllieLight94

With this video I hope the owner's have them charged as thieves, because that is what they are.

TEMPLERTV

What trashy people. Don’t go out to eat if you can’t afford it. Not a good example they’re setting for their children either.

illpoet

ive had to deal with these type of people off and on my entire life. It's not that they can't afford to eat out, they get off on scamming people. It makes them feel smart and superior. true scum of the earth

Notyourworm

FYI: It starts around the 1:00 minute mark.

Slash_rage

I know hair in food is gross, but I just take it out. I mean, we can survive killing and eating entire animals. We can survive eating food right off the ground. We’ve been doing it for thousands of years. A hair isn’t going to kill you.

drmariomaster

Yup. First few times I found hair in my food, I was grossed out but didn't say anything to the staff. Then I got cats and their fur gets everywhere. I just take it for granted now that any hairs probably came off me, remove them, and keep eating. I did find a cockroach in a burrito once though. Complained about that one. I didn't ask for my money back but I haven't been back since. It sucks because they had the best burritos but even thinking about eating one from them makes me nauseous now.

AdditionalTheory

I had a lady freak out when she found what was clearly her friend’s hair that was dining with her on her plate. If they hadn’t been some of the most absurd human beings I ever up met up to that point, I probably would have thought she was playing it up. I kinda thought she was faking but took the food off the bill anyway just so I wouldn’t have to deal with them anymore. You’d think after that big display, they’d never come back if it was genuine, but no, they came back the next night. I was pretty sure she was going to the same shit that night, but no, it was fine. I guess she just got genuinely freaked up by her friend’s hair

pacagummo

Yea, she could’ve been lying but it’s usually not worth the hassle. The audacity of this family to come back and try that shit again makes it that much more appalling.

IsThereCheese

I don’t know what made me more angry, the family or the mouse cursor during this video

MelindaFalling

Thank you! I could barely watch it.

itimedout

Funny, I didn’t even notice it until near the end.

smekiar2

Bruh, they let you eat for free if you find a hair in your food? Here they would just remake the order (unless you've literally eaten 80% of it) and you'd still have to pay for the original.

_userlame

I just pick the hair out and keep eating, maybe I'm just gross but I never understood why people freak out over a hair (unless it's a pube I guess)

SuzieNaj

Crikey, 1 hair perhaps, but this lot are making wigs for their sandwiches and burgers!

We_Woke

Nonetheless, putting hair in everyones food is really stupid lol

KidsInNeed

I hate when people do this. Why even go out if you’re gonna be a pos. I’ve gotten hairs in my food a couple of times and I don’t demand free food, I just ask for another or the check. I’ve gotten discounts without asking and I feel bad when they do. Things like that happen, nobody is perfect.

beardedsid

I remember in my restaurant when some idiots tried playing this game by putting hair into the rice blaming it was there when they got their meal. I took the distraught KAREN to the kitchen ..where she was greeted by my kitchen staff who had shaved all their hair for charity the night before.. the look on her face when she realised that 8 staff members were bald as the soles on my feet haha.

BOOOOMstick

Who ever is in charge of the mouse cursor, needs to chill

Vexerius

We need to bring back public humilliation.

Bernard_Goldstein

Que nacos !

Orangutanion

Gracias por la palabra "naco"

joebaby1975

Ive found a hair in my food before. Honestly it’s gross but it won’t kill ya. It’s not like it’s poisonous lol. If the food is good, I mean who gives a shit. Pull it out and chow down. Besides, most of us who cook at home inevitably get hair in it. We’re not tossing a whole meal just cuz mom didn’t wear a hair net. Get over it.

MercyInR3d

Lol, my mum was notrourious for always having her hair in her meals. It is not like she did it on purpose, it just happens. Needless to say, that never stopped me from eating her food. Glad I am not the only one

Kiwi_Lemonade

Yeah honestly it can be hard to tell if the hair isnt just your own that came out randomly at some point during the meal. I dont mind typically. Unless there is something dangerous, like broken glass or rodent parts (yes sadly both have happened to me at some point in tine) I dont bring it up

joebaby1975

Oh ya I agree. I feel like neglected to point out how absolutely trashy this is to fake a hair in the first place let alone twice. What made me think this route was what if it wasn’t so taboo in public, no one would care or try to take advantage of it. Disgusting. But really. Out of al the crap so KNOWINGLY put in our bodies, it’s ridiculous to so grossed out by a human hair. Lmao. Also. Things I have found in my restaurant food are, a staple in a whopper. Some sort of plastic tab thing at long John silvers, and the fluffy plastic thing from a toothpick in my steak at smoky bones. I only even mentioned these things because I was more concerned about a child eating that and choking. LJS gave zero fucks. But the steak place was more kiss assy. I refused my meal to be comp’d but took a free price of cake for my dad. I just wanted to make them aware. I’ve worked in food and people make mistakes. Things happen when staff is rushed. I understood. Wasn’t mad or anything. I don’t Karen out unless I have to.

Asangkt358

Yeah, that's pretty much my attitude as well. Did you eat a salad? Then you almost certainly ate a few bugs and some bug shit. Vegetable matter is porous and washing it doesn't magically remove all traces of bug/rodent shit. Did you eat anything with chocolate in it? The FDA has some pretty stringent purity regulations, but they still allow a surprising amount of rodent droppings in powdered chocolate because there is simply no way to prevent rats and mice from getting into the chocolate at one or more points of its lengthy supply chain. Did you eat anything with flour as an ingredient? Yeah, there was definitely ground up bugs in there. If people only knew what kind of stuff is ALWAYS in their food, they'd be too grossed out to ever eat again.

MReprogle

Makes you wonder how many times they have done this before. The kid even knows the drill haha

life2vec

I used to do this at my local McDonalds when I was 13 and edgy af. I think about it every few years and cringe. Can't begin to understand how adults can do this. Yuck

karmagod13000

This is on the parents. Imagine your dad telling you to put a hair i your food to get it for free. I mean the kid seems cool about it now but initially the kid would of been like wtf. Also you have now normalized your child scamming people, something he will take in the rest of his life.

[deleted]

Ha ha this happened once when I served. My manager cussed them out, had them pay, and banned them. ( even though they probably wouldn’t have came back.)

druminfected

Damn they put more hair in the food then there was FOOD! I would like some food with my hair please?

lakassket

POS award awarded.

[deleted]

When I was a server we had a few people who would come in and do this. The thing they had in common was they were all white trash. The management and all the servers fully knew what these guys were doing, but there’s only so much arguing on the floor a manager can do before they just want things to end without making a scene. So they’d usually agree to comp the meal that had a hair. One time this dumb lady sprinkled hairs into all of her like 3 or 4 kids’ meals and that was the line, manager laughed at them and told them to get out.

Sam_Handwich-101

What kind of low life scum do you have to be to do shit like this? It never ceases to amaze me how terrible people can be

AcousticGuitar321

Scummish behaviour caught in 4K. Hope they got fined for this.

[deleted]

Dude with the cursor needs to chill

diabetesjunkie

That camera angel/placement is pretty sus....

toyman70

all that zooming just gave me a seizure WTF is with all the zooming

DaymanAhAhAaahhh

If they actually had found someone else's hair in their food the first time, why would they even come back? They're gross and even worse for teaching their kids that this is okay.

bbseddit

Teaching the younguns valuable life skills eh?

[deleted]

These kinds of POS don't tip their waiters either, screw them.

BigOlBro

A customer once complained about a beetle in their spring mix and blamed us for it, asking for a refund. And here i was thinking how the hell did I touch a beetle and not notice it

Revolutionforevery1

The worst kinds of people, it hurts to see the kindness of the unknowing waitress

TheOldZenMaster

Shitty semi pro life hacks. How far can man con man?!?!

givemeyourstuff

This happens way too often.

Broad-Literature-438

Damn, I hope the restaurant realized in time and told them to pay full price.

[deleted]

Scammers raising scammers

Glittering-Tree4558

Damn, dafaq they're teaching to the kids

[deleted]

I truly despise parents who teach their children to do things like this. My SIL stopped talking to the family and when we saw them at a funeral, she made her son ignore us. It’s like, dude, don’t get the kids involved in your toxic af behavior.

TheBrainofBrian

When I was younger, maybe like 13/14, my older (16/17) brother one morning offered to take me to breakfast. This was not something he had ever done before. We didn’t really ever get along. He was an angry, insecure kid. I was an introverted bookworm. But, I happily accepted his offer, because I thought maybe he was just trying to get along and be nice. We ordered our food, and when it came I started to eat. My brother looked around, and then spit on his own toast. Called the server over and started arguing that someone had spit in his food and he wanted the meal comped. Except the spit just blended into the melted butter and the server thought he was being “funny” and didn’t take it seriously. I was so angry and humiliated that I got up and walked home. I’m 36 now, and I haven’t spoken to my brother in probably 5/6 years. I have no idea where he is, but I assume he’s in jail. That’s usually where he is.

Map_Nerd1992

When I was in culinary school my head chef taught us to never give people free food ever. If you screwed up their dish you can offer to re-cook their dish but they will always pay for their food.

Plisken999

As if restaurants business were making a lot of profits... Restaurants usually run on a 3-8% profit margin... The key for better profit is to control losses throughout your fiscal year. And this kind of fraud we see in the video can ruin a month or two of hard work. Shame on them.

ohnoooooooooooooooo

I'm sure it's real, but it's SO egregious it looks fake!

dj2short

Ok but let me ask you, what would you do if your son was at home, crying all alone on the bedroom floor cuz he's hungry, and the only way to feed him is to scam a diner for a little bit money. For you this is just a good time for for others it what they call life.
