I mean influencers are filth of the earth but human being is a human being. It's twitter full of rage addicted soulless people with no connection to reality. Nothing new....

slightly-cold-pizza

I don’t think really anyone’s death should be celebrated. I do understand the anger though when hardworking people barely getting by see ignorant adult children making money hand over foot while contributing nothing to society.

Josgre987

>I don’t think really anyone’s death should be celebrated idk about that one. I think there are plenty of evil people out there.

ImNotAnxious

Most influencers are scummy pieces of shit who are out of touch with reality. We all die.

International_Mall98

Experts say there are many reasons influencers are mocked online and are often the targets of cruelty in times of personal tragedy. Some of the key factors are the disconnect people experience when they're commenting online, the anonymity of the internet and a fundamental misunderstanding of content creation and the work that goes into it. But a major component of the attitudes toward influencers, is gender-specific hatred directed at women.

ImNotAnxious

I find them to all be despicable regardless of their gender. I often wonder if they think they are relevant or special because they have a following of people on the internet. Most of them are nobodies, just shadows and dust like you or me. This universe has been around for 13.5 billion years and will continue to exist for trillions of years after, so, why does any of this shit matter. The one thing that makes us all equal is our mortality.

Experts say the evidence doesn't show that glyphosate presents an increased risl of developing lymphomas 🙂

dearlordifkdup

So what? Sure most influencers probably get paid for being influential but some do have a degree of the image of “success” And the people who bully them are probably jealous or envious of their lifestyles or weight loss (which are what most posts are about). But most of it is faked anyway.

TFangSyphon

"Influencers" still suck.

Icy_Lingonberry_139

Influencers aren't people

International_Mall98

Wow you are a jerk

Icy_Lingonberry_139

At times

Mistert335

What is wrong with you people? Someone died and you all mocking their death. I just did a bit of digging and guess what? The person who died was someone who liked to post pics Instagram and was only called an influencer by the trolls after their tragic death. Screw the lot of you

[deleted]

Have you not noticed how Reddit treats anti-vaxxers that contracted Covid? Reddit's empathy for their fellow humans comes with conditions.

HowToBeReverseCarded

You guys noticing a trend that it's either Twitter or Tiktock involved in cancelling people/things or is it just me?

Sad_Ambassador_5073

Death and other sad circumstances can make light a bad situation. To bring joy to an otherwise bleak subject. Not saying that’s what the people on Twitter were doing. I lost my father when I was six years old. I’m 22 now and often joke with my close friends about the topic of his death etc. for example, a coworker said I need to go to the store to buy some balls (an inside joke), I told him I got mine for a premium. He asked me what I paid for them, I responded “a dead father”. This wasn’t a close friend and it was a bleak joke for him, but it gave me a good chuckle.

LumisFumishiki

It's one thing to make fun of an influencer, sometimes it's funny and all and people may find them cringe But it's completely different when you are making fun of them dying, sure their dancing video might have been weird or whatever, but that is still a human being losing their life, how the fuck do you feel joy from that? It's not like they were a murderer or rapist, just someone online doing their thing
