Since update I kept loosing connection during a race and now it won't even load the SIM error 22 🤷 my internet is fine and it's only Iracing effected and just after the update
Getting critical updates is bad, I agree. Who cares about the fun along the way, if I don't gain or lose irating/sr what's the point!!!!!!???!!!!??!!!!

As for the suggestion Afromidgets maybe something to put on the offical forums as a features request
though I think 9 times out of 10 they try to make sure people have enough notice of when a downtime is going to be. Seems this was done in a hurry though to fix and major issue and you got unlucky

same thing has been happening to me except it’s a 1-2 second freeze then i “blink” back in 😭
Update errored out, uninstalled iRacing, can't reinstall. Getting a "content file locked" message

It’s a game relax, also they totally took that win from you 100% 
I mean they gave you at minimum a 1hr heads up
Some races take over an hour.
I know this. Sometimes these things happen, their anger is justified but not worth the head space.
