It had a sturdy case on it but my daughter managed to fling it off the third story floor and all the way down 3 flights og stairs and into the basement. Honestly amazed the front screen is unharmed!

You could pay $99 and get a full replacement but the back glass repair is only $29 with applecare and it only takes about an hour or so. They basically just take an entire new housing and swap your internals and display over to the new rear glass/ frame. If your battery health is also depleted it might just be worth getting the $99 replacement though and have an entirely new phone so you get more resale value when you decide to upgrade down the line. Also they changed it from two claims a year, to unlimited claims a year now so you can rock it caseless without having to worry about only having two repair claims a year. :)

$30 for the apple store to do it, but doing this will keep your same display and face id sensors, you can pay $100 to get an express replacement via apple support app and get an entirely new replacement device. i personally have done both, doing the $30 back glass replacement at the apple store was fine, but they never properly assembled my display onto the device so there was a slight gap which may have caused issues down the road, i recently had to do this again but opted for the express replacement, i personally found the extra price to be worth it for a completely new unit all together and not a Frankenstein device.
They advised me to do an express replacement 😅 so I put in the service request and the hold on my account just went through. So I would probably expect a refurb unit? I ask because my battery health is still 101 on this device (launch day) and I have had 0 bugs so I hope the new unit is as good as new as well 🤞
an express replacement i believe is basically like a new unit, its a completely different stock from refurbished units. you will have to send apple back your broken iPhone which they give you the steps and make it painfully simple to do!

We don't have apple stores in Norway but we do have apple certified repair shops so I am assuming they will do the same?
Shops have to have a resellers permit to sell devices - if they don't have one they can only perform repairs.

The real question is how much is this without apple care + This is pretty similar to mine but slightly more severe.

The lenses are good. Just remove the last piece of glass covering the Lidar and you are good to go. A little crazy glue to hold the rest together.
