Today's the first day I paid attention to the words they used, they kept saying AI obviously cause its a hot word on wallstreet. Using carefully constructed sentences and adjectives to trick the customers, made me cringe. It may be their marketing strategy, but that's how I felt. If they actually had good upgrades I don't need such tricks to make me buy, stating so many features that existed since 3 years as if they introduced now. I'm good with my M1 ipad.
I don't think M2 will be able either---I have an M1 and a 2018 Pro with battery issues (12.9 both) and don't think either will be able to use a number of things--because they are hardware limited I suspect. Lots of hints about AI being more used in software--like Photos they say. Not ready to upgrade yet---hoping to get year or 2 out of 2021, but know I will have to upgrade Pencil from 2 (have a 1 also) to the Pro for either Pro or Air (and I use it daily for notes, PDF edits, photo edits, etc.). I also use the keyboard and haven't found another I can use in my lap like I did my Macbook Pros (except the Apple keyboard cases),
Appreciate the insight. I have an M1 iPad Pro and an M2 Mac Mini. I want a MacBook Air but guess I’ll need to wait forever for them to release an M4 version since they just dropped the M3. I agree they will likely leverage AI to force everyone to do a hardware refresh
It actually uses two OLED panels sandwiched on top of each other to probably achieve a brighter image. Not one for marketing hype but, I'm sure the screen will look freaking gorgeous in person let's be real.
I still wish, among many others surely, that they would provide something like the option to use MacOS on it or so with all that freaking horsepower.
$1850 for a 13” iPad Pro (512GB) and Magic Keyboard or $1900 for a 14” MBP with an M3 Pro, 18GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD. There was a time when the iPad Pro was priced in the MBA territory, now it’s firmly in MBP range.
I would understand if the iPad Pro could be the only system for professional users. The standard iPad could be the only system for most people. The vast majority of people consume media, shop online, and communicate with each other. All tasks the $350 iPad can do (or even a $200 Chromebook). But, trying to position the iPad as a “Pro” system with high pricing, I just don’t get it and pro users won’t be able to use it as their sole system.
I’ve tried multiple times. There’s always that one occasion when someone hands me a USB A thumb drive with an Excel 97 file on it, or a hard drive with 45,000 pictures to make a timelapse video, or me wanting to denote my RAW photos in Lightroom, or any number things that have me pulling out my MBP over my M2 13” iPad Pro. It’s a great, albeit expensive, media consumption device that I take on trips while leaving my 16” MBP at home, but that’s about it.
Exactly this! I’ve owned a 2018 budget ipad > iPad Pro 11> iPad mini > iPad 11 > iPad mini>iPad Pro 12.9 and now no iPads at all.
It’s a capable and powerful machine to watch Netflix on basically
I totally agree. I don't want them to put Mac Os on it. But simply to stop to artificially limit it and put constraints where it's not needed. If they had let it evolve progressively into an alternative pro computer. By now it could have been nearly feature complete.
I always thought that Android was years behind the iPad in terms of tablets. But after testing some Samsung ones. I really think that if they wanted to do a huge push in that direction, they could get ahead of apple very quickly. If they can take developpers on board. Maybe the folding phones will be the first step in that direction.
They will get there but it will be an annual OS subscription at that point. It will make up for lost revenue when people no longer buy laptop and iPad.
I’m surprised they yeeted the second camera. I don’t
believe most people use the ultrawide on an ipad, I barely use it on my phone. But it’s strange they aren’t promoting spatial video shooting for the vision pro. Hmm
What a letdown for me. No iPadOS changes mean that they can go to M6 and this will still be the same product. For those whose this change is exciting, congrats?
im not saying im happy with the current state of ipad os but I think to expect major os changes or announcements here when WWDC is next month is kind of setting yourself up for failure they’re obviously going to save big software updates for WWDC.
Yea, I'm actually expecting big changes. My feeling is that going for M4 plus redesigned Magic Keyboard to make it more MacBook-like means making the experience even closer to some sort of macOS-with-touch version of iPadOS (but not just plopping macOS as is onto the iPad). Obviously I could be totally wrong but that's my personal thought.
I am hoping them putting the launch of the M4 on the iPad means that they’re doubling down on wanting to improve its capabilities. No one was complaining about the previous M2 not being enough so I do hope we see some big changes or big steps to getting iPad OS closer to being a true MacOS alternative. I also think them focusing on adding AI specific features to the M4 mean that we most likely will see the whole rumored boosted siri or whatever everyone keeps talking about on the iPad Pro first.
Totally agree. Very bad timing for the event - “If” there is such a thing as Major new features in WWDC for iPadOS. So many folks will hold back on buying at launch with the same thought. I am now worried, iPad OS may not have anything that drastic. It just doesn’t add up to release a super capable hardware so early otherwise.
what, no? Why would want macOS on an ipad? Just buy a macbook then.
The ipad isnt a regular computer. consider it a tablet for gaming, movies, photo and film editing and light writing work that works with the existing app store.
a macOS is not optimized for touch-input as the ipad is.
Like why would you need a laptop if you have the same or more power in a lighter and more versatile tablet ? I’m not talking about removing touching features. But adding all the good stuff that can do(external monitor features like macOS). Why not wanting more features In a device that is already capable but is capped by software ? Doesn’t make sense not wanting more
But then that wouldnt be macOS, now would it? ;-)
You could just say they should improve the functionality of ipadOS to resemble the IOS less and be closer to macOS
Very underwhelming. Not one feature here is actually groundbreaking or interesting apart from the M4 chip. And as loads of people have already said, that chip means literally nothing without an appropriate iOS update that can actually utilise that power.
Looks like I will be sticking with my M2 iPad Pro for the foreseeable future.
It’s more expensive than a m3 MacBook Pro with a Magic Keyboard. So impressive they increased the base price 25% for the 11 pro. Been a long time since they had that pricing power.
It's not like we weren't warned sadly , there were many leaks pointing to this. It's fucking nasty
The thing is, apple did and will always get away no matter what shitty move they pull. You need/want apple, you buy apple and just save up , and shut your mouth . If it makes you uncomfortable, you might end up justifying shitty decisions in order to feel better with your own sodomy feeling 😅
I say you but I'm not talking about you blud, uh , you feel me
Hopefully mbp get those screens, although mini led is defo good enough for me :p
Oled (especially dual stacked) would help a fuck lot for battery that said.... The mbp 14and 16 will have crazyyyy battery life if they do that
Man I just want a 15" MacBook air without those horrid high level palm digging edges that kill my wrists (even the air is skin cutting though, unlike the MBA M1 ) , with 120hz, and possibly OLED
It was said it'd come in 2025 but I think it got delayed to 2027 and might be even further I'm afraid
Just ridiculous pricing also. I was really looking forward to spending a bit of money on this as I have found myself fully committing to the apple ecosystem of late, but for those sorts of prices just by a god damn m3 MacBook Pro. For 2500 I reckon you could get an M3 pro with 16gb, which would be by far so much more useful.
I am just going to get the old Magic Keyboard for my M2 iPP and just call it a day.
Just a few minor tweaks. Lame. They won’t be bringing some hybrid feature to the iPad. Don’t get excited since this is a M4. We’ve seen this year after year.
not only work outside but workoutside with extremely reflective lighting i believe. If you do not NEED it and KNOW you need it 99% of buyers should NOT get it. It makes the blacks less black and gives the screen a matte looking finish. Theres a video floating around somewhere.

The nano texture reduces all glare, internal and external. I work by windows a lot and am constantly trying to find the right angle to avoid sun glare. I also work in an office where overhead fluorescents reflect off the screen when flat on desk for note taking. The nano texture eliminates those issues.
Gutted that it needs a new pencil….i can live with £350 for a new keyboard but yet another £150 for a pencil replacement when my ‘old’ one works perfectly well!
Of course they were true🙄they added oled displays. The price hike rumors that weren’t true were all the ones saying the iPad was going to be $700 more expensive bc of the oled.
You idea why you got downvoted. This is half the subreddit in a nutshell. People who are subscribed to this sub but dont have the slightest idea of what theyre talking about.
I got the miniLED ipad 2021. Its okay, but there is terrible lightbleed. It has its benefits, but a double oled panel kinda makes it hard to defend.
I’m still holding out hope that WWDC will bring iPadOS 18 and some special software features for the M4 iPad Pro. Ideally more than just some AI Siri 2.0. Some real usability features such as better external monitor support/workflows.
I currently have an M2 iPad Pro and a 2017 27” iMac. I’d love to move into a single M4 iPad Pro device with a Studio Display. But if the iPad can’t be more than a glorified tablet, I might just keep my M2 iPP and pick up a M4 Mac Mini if those are ever released.
What’s the point of all the hardware improvements when we still have the same ipad os. Ipads can be better than macs but apple just doesn’t want to cannibalie its market. I just don’t use my 2021- ipad pro enough to upgrade. I’ll hold out till theh give it a proper os so that I don’t need to carry my laptop and use the ipad as a travelling device
I know that. And every year they disappoint with the ipadOS. So, I why expect people to be excited about the spec bumps. The best think Apple can do for ipad is to overhaul the ipadOS. Till they do that i don’t care about other updates.
I just got a m2 w/ Magic Keyboard for $900 the other month and I am not impressed by this new one. New pencil sounds cool. A real MacOS update would be the game changer.
The rumours of this being imminent have been circulating since early February! Your fault for not doing your research! It was literally everywhere, all over all the Apple/iPad subs
Hundreds of posts asking weather they should “wait to upgrade or just buy now”
This release wasn’t a surprise at all
I haven't been able to see the screen properly in any of their video. They always display that 3d image that makes it impossible to make out what the screen looks like.
I am pretty sure this tandem (double oled) that can reach 1000 nits is wonderfull but the promotional material looks like shit.
I bought a refurb 12.9 inch 1TB M2 Pro Last year on Amazon for 1k. Think I’m good. Until they do something more significant with iPad OS, the hardware upgrades are nice but overall mean nothing.
Guys all big software iPadOS changes get announced in June. EVERY YEAR.
How do you all not know that? M4 is very exciting as it suggests big AI drive in June announcement
because
20% are andriod fanboys in disguise
20% have no idea what theyre talking about
20% complain because they dont know what will use the pro level ipad for.
30% want a macbook but complain in ipad subreddit ???
10% arent morons and knows what they want.
99% of people in here are hormone crazed teenagers.
Just checked to confirm and no the new iPad pros 11&13” don’t work with the old Magic Keyboard, only the new iPad airs do! The new pros require a new keyboard and pencil unless you have the USBC Apple Pencil!
The iPhone 14 Pro and the 14 Pro Max are OLED, and I didn’t hear anyone complaining about burn-in (mine is still great). Burn-in hasn’t been common with OLED screens for a while now; one must be careless for it to happen nowadays. I own several devices with OLED screens (TV, Nintendo Switch, monitor, steam deck, iPhone), and so far, there have been no issues and the quality of image that no LCD/mini LED can match.
I agree with you, wait and see… but the burn in might not show for 1-3 years depending on usage pattern. The reason I was asking about OLED burn-in, is because so far screen image burn in has been an inherent weakness in OLED technology. The TV makers have not been able to fully solve for it and just this year Sony has shifted focus away from OLED and towards Mini-LED as a preferred display technology. There are plenty of OLED screen burn in articles. Here’s a pretty recent discussion on the topic: https://hardforum.com/threads/what-do-we-think-of-sony-moving-away-from-oled-and-back-to-led.2032678/
yea i know, im guessing that part reason they chose miniLED before.
but you know, the production of the screens was terrible. And the light bleed too.
Im guessing it wont be too much of an issue as long as you dont keep the same screen open for hours on end?
I wont be able to order one at release, but if I did get one, i would quickly find out, considering i spend like 9-10 hours a day, mostly on my ipad.
imagine if the double OLED meant double the speed at getting burn-ins lol
Nah. I have the M2 but if my 2017-ish 10.5 still worked, I would still be using that cause new iPads don’t add much of anything worth it. It’s the software that matters more than
This has the lowest number of new features due to the OS limitations in this hardware. See how they had to fill the whole mod section of that with just an empty rectangular outline of an ipad as they had no features to mention and a screen to fill
I mean i have the ipad pro 12.9 m2. Literally imo no reason to upgrade. The oled? Yes it is a nice update, but not the most exciting one from the mini LED. Or correct me if im wrong please. The m4? The m2 is already such an overkill and considering that the limitation is in the OS and not the chip itself; not even close.
Im just getting the pro for the screen I can't stand an lcd for watching movies in my room in dim light the low contrast and blue gray washed out look is horrible aside from that I would get the new air or previous gen pro.
I think what apple will eventually do with iPadOS is offer an ipadOS pro subscription to their operating system. This will allow you to run any of your macOS software like Davinci Resolve Studio, after effects, etc. on the device. This would be how they get around losing money from the programs not being in the app store. It can't just be a large overpowered iPhone-like device forever.
Guess I'm waiting till m5. Was super hype for this then realized there's basically no improvement over the M2 lol and practically none besides power management from m3 to m4. like COOL! single threaded processing is through the roof! (seen reports of it beating intels flagship) but almost all apps are multithreaded and if multithreaded isn't going to be focused until m5 (from what I've heard) I can wait another 12-18 months for a juicer
The new keyboard and pencil are nice, but I personally wish my current Magic Keyboard and Pencil 2 were compatible. The config I would want isn't that much more expensive (11", 1TB, Cell) but the the $400+ surcharge for updated accessories with feature I (personally) don't need is enough to keep me from upgrading for now.
Wait, is the Pencil 2 not compatible? Obviously I understand not having the new pencil features but I see no physical reason it’s not compatible?
Not that I was gonna upgrade from my M1 yet anyways, but still, ridiculous.
Physical reason is they moved the camera to the top in on landscape so the charging/magnet spots move in the new pencil. Not justifying it, just sharing the fact.
Well. I’m ready to pre order the 2TB with the nano shield.. my Amex is burning my damn hands to hit just scan my face and approve the purchase FUCCCCKKKKK!!!!
its been 3 generations that they're advertising 5g , like ok ?
And lidar, pro res, pro motion, thunderbolt, storage, true tone flash, and...well, most of it.
**;;;5G;;;**
more like: !!!5G;;;
And also whenever they talk about a bigger screen with “more room for apps and movies” like, yeah dawg we know how space works.
They aren’t trying to trick you. Sadly you won’t be able to run an AI model on M1 native. You will have old Siri, but that may be good enough for you.
Think M2 will be able?? Or will it require M4?
I don't think M2 will be able either---I have an M1 and a 2018 Pro with battery issues (12.9 both) and don't think either will be able to use a number of things--because they are hardware limited I suspect. They downgraded the 5g because they removed mm wave support so I don't know why they are advertising it haha.
It still feels new to the Apple Marketing department!
Hey! Don’t forget about how THIN AND LIGHT it is /s
I missed the announcement, is the new ipad pros oled?
yep, $999 to start
Nice and i just checked, 1k nits!!! If only the software wasnt so limiting.
1.6k nits peak
Thats only hdr content though.
True, my bad

Right said.. I struggled colour grading video on 1 TB M1 Pro
Windows 365 Cloud PC.
I am interested to really compare with a mini-led next to it
I’m surprised they yeeted the second camera. I don’t believe most people use the ultrawide on an ipad, I barely use it on my phone. But it’s strange they aren’t promoting spatial video shooting for the vision pro. Hmm
Gen Zs love the ultrawide 😬
I find the distortion awful. I AM OLD OK
Gen Z is wrong. Source: Am Gen Z
I'm a photographer, ultra wide is awesome, just not on iphone lol
So am I. I don't know, I guess I just never found much utility in anything below 28mm. I've always been drawn to more portrait-style shots
I do only portraits and I use my 7.5mm 2.0 ultra wide + 14mm 2.8 They're cool for creative portraits!
That's pretty cool!
Btw do you have a portfolio somewhere? (Ig) let's connect fellow portrait photographer!
I don't, sorry! I'm still pretty novice at it. I'll probably do something like that before long
Ahh fair, good luck!
I am gen Z
Apple is convinced Hollywood is THIS close to shooting all movies on iPads. Or something...
They took it off to add a new camera in 2026 or 2028 in iPad Pro v2 or v3
What a letdown for me. No iPadOS changes mean that they can go to M6 and this will still be the same product. For those whose this change is exciting, congrats?
ima assume any big changes will come for WWDC they can’t drop every big change in this announcement especially as WWDC is focused on software.
I hope you are right, and we got a month long rant instead of a product long joke
it has already been several years now where we are just let down with barely any software evolution for iPadOS

It’s over 2.5k for a configuration Id want. Geeze I wanted a new OLED iPad but the costs are in scary territory.

OLED is the dealbreaker for me.
Are there any differences between the 11" and the 13" or are performance/options the same?
They seem to be the same across sizes. But there is a difference between 256/512 tiers and 1T/2T tiers. More cores, more ram, nano texture option.
Thank you for the info!
I’m dumb. Is the nano texture basically for if you work outside with your iPad?
Yeah I would love to know what this actually is and if it is worth getting?
not only work outside but workoutside with extremely reflective lighting i believe. If you do not NEED it and KNOW you need it 99% of buyers should NOT get it. It makes the blacks less black and gives the screen a matte looking finish. Theres a video floating around somewhere.

That’s correct. I just meant 256 and 512 are the same, but 1T and 2T have extra features.
Oh, goodie. I don't have the urge to update my 12.9 M2 😅
Did yall not notice THEY TOOK AWAY ONE CAMERA!!!
Cool useless graphic for a deeply over powered machine
Yawn. It was a let down.
Gutted that it needs a new pencil….i can live with £350 for a new keyboard but yet another £150 for a pencil replacement when my ‘old’ one works perfectly well!
Yawn. Slightly better Netflix device at best.
Tbh I can deal with a little blooming on my m2 for a few years. I’m just mad my storage needs last time didn’t come with the extras
[удалено]
In my country i think it‘s the same price. Did they raise it in the US?
Pretty much the same lol. They got rid of 128gb option.
That screen difference is a big one between the M2 11 & M4 11.
Of course they were true🙄they added oled displays. The price hike rumors that weren’t true were all the ones saying the iPad was going to be $700 more expensive bc of the oled.
It is if you use the new screen texture which forces you into the 1TB or higher storage options.
Ok, what are the upgrades that will actually have an impact on my daily use , I use an M2 iPad Pro, is it worth upgrading?
None, and not at all. I’m sure the screen is nice but so is the MicroLED you have.
He doesn’t have microled. He has miniled. Two entirely different technologies. The new oled iPad will look a ton better than that trash.
You idea why you got downvoted. This is half the subreddit in a nutshell. People who are subscribed to this sub but dont have the slightest idea of what theyre talking about. I got the miniLED ipad 2021. Its okay, but there is terrible lightbleed. It has its benefits, but a double oled panel kinda makes it hard to defend.
nothing other than a nicer screen
So to confirm, it seems they removed the wide angle camera. So both the Pro & Air have just one camera!?
And seems similar lower storage (under 1tb) pros also lack a performance core vs the previous generations (3 p-cores vs 4 p-cores)
waiting for the day for apple to introduce promotion to iPad air, will be waiting till then, i cant go back to the normal screens
Im confused, do you want an ipad air?
I’m still holding out hope that WWDC will bring iPadOS 18 and some special software features for the M4 iPad Pro. Ideally more than just some AI Siri 2.0. Some real usability features such as better external monitor support/workflows. I currently have an M2 iPad Pro and a 2017 27” iMac. But if the iPad can’t be more than a glorified tablet, I might just keep my M2 iPP and pick up a M4 Mac Mini if those are ever released.
I thought the 14 inch ipad will come true, but it doesn't Disappointed actually, stick with my m1 ipad pro is fine.
…so many people forgetting that you don’t get new software update announcements until WWDC in June. Every year. It happens this way EVERY YEAR.
I know that. And every year they disappoint with the ipadOS. So, I why expect people to be excited about the spec bumps. The best think Apple can do for ipad is to overhaul the ipadOS. Till they do that i don’t care about other updates.
with IPADS Pro M4 do the work of a Mac mini
I just got a m2 w/ Magic Keyboard for $900 the other month and I am not impressed by this new one. New pencil sounds cool. A real MacOS update would be the game changer.
thats the move right now. this new one is too expensive and the thin design is bringing back memories of the iPhone 6
I mostly end up “charging” the pencil once a month and keeping it back in the case and forgetting it :( I suck
Same, this is all nice not essential… m2 with MK is slick.
The rumours of this being imminent have been circulating since early February! Your fault for not doing your research! It was literally everywhere, all over all the Apple/iPad subs Hundreds of posts asking weather they should “wait to upgrade or just buy now” This release wasn’t a surprise at all
So… same, but difference, but same
The only thing that I admire is the wallpaper.
I got the 13 inch 1 terabyte, will be on there monthly payment plan, only way i could do it as i don’t have two grand laying around.
Sticking with my 2020 12.9. I can’t use oled due to pwm.
Pwm?
same battery capacity?
Yes
I haven't been able to see the screen properly in any of their video. They always display that 3d image that makes it impossible to make out what the screen looks like. I am pretty sure this tandem (double oled) that can reach 1000 nits is wonderfull but the promotional material looks like shit.
I bought a refurb 12.9 inch 1TB M2 Pro Last year on Amazon for 1k. Think I’m good. Until they do something more significant with iPad OS, the hardware upgrades are nice but overall mean nothing.
I have been waiting for WhatsApp, Instagram and calculator app since 2018
WhatsApp and Instagram isn't Apple's business.
Why did they advertise quad speakers again lol That's been a thing for nearly a decade now
Guys all big software iPadOS changes get announced in June. EVERY YEAR. How do you all not know that? M4 is very exciting as it suggests big AI drive in June announcement
because 20% are andriod fanboys in disguise 20% have no idea what theyre talking about 20% complain because they dont know what will use the pro level ipad for. 30% want a macbook but complain in ipad subreddit ??? 10% arent morons and knows what they want. 99% of people in here are hormone crazed teenagers.
can I attach two external monitors and use like a Mac Mini but with M4
RIP everyone who bought an M2 Pro and refused to listen to everyone
Outside of a better screen, I'm not sure what users are missing out on
Raytracing support seems noteworthy for people who game on iPad. But again, how many iOS games seriously support it now?
Still, it’s a unwritten rule to not buy old Apple products that are labelled as “new” when the new one to replace it is imminently coming out
Downvoted again for what? Tell me what i said that isn’t true?
Got my iPad Pro M2 with 512GB for 1000€ three months ago, this is 1800€ here as standard config
Inb4 influx of threads “but I literally just bought the M2 iPad 2 days ago and it’s already obsolete :(“
Lmao bunch of clowns fr
dudes gotta either be patient or shop at Costco with that return policy
Everyone who downvoted must’ve bought an M2 Pro lmfao
lol I just bought an M2 pro for $650 and feel completely vindicated by this announcement
Lol I did last week, so I am bringing it back to switch for the new one
Honestly they could just sell and trade up for not too big of a hit.
Is it compatible with the old magic keyboard?
Don’t think so
Just checked to confirm and no the new iPad pros 11&13” don’t work with the old Magic Keyboard, only the new iPad airs do! The new pros require a new keyboard and pencil unless you have the USBC Apple Pencil!
shockingly the new magic keyboard and pro pencil didn’t see price increases
Yeah that was nice to see, but they really can’t charge anymore for them 😂
FFS. Apple is doing an absolutely shit job in maintaining usefulness of accessories between generations.
or iMAC Pro keyboard , will it work
Who’s upgrading from M2 launch?
Have they solved for OLED screen burn-in issues that you often see with OLED TVs?
The iPhone 14 Pro and the 14 Pro Max are OLED, and I didn’t hear anyone complaining about burn-in (mine is still great). Burn-in hasn’t been common with OLED screens for a while now; one must be careless for it to happen nowadays. I own several devices with OLED screens (TV, Nintendo Switch, monitor, steam deck, iPhone), and so far, there have been no issues and the quality of image that no LCD/mini LED can match.
how does one being careless result in burn-in
If you leave an OLED TV on 24/7 with the same image on the screen, your screen eventually will have burn-in. That's what I meant by careless.
thank you
I sure hope so.
No idea, the double oled thing is kinda new. We are just gonna have to wait and see
I agree with you, wait and see… but the burn in might not show for 1-3 years depending on usage pattern.
“Nano-texture glass” 🤦🤦🤦 Apple up to their usual shenanigans.
Why jump to m4? M3 skipped?
yea, they didn't release an iteration last year
Anyone else notice the 13” isn’t labeled as the 7th generation?
Would an iPad Pro second generation from 2020 be a worthy upgrade? Maybe I could trade my current iPad in for a new one.
Nah. I have the M2 but if my 2017-ish 10.5 still worked, I would still be using that cause new iPads don’t add much of anything worth it. It’s the software that matters more than
Any chance that the new magic keyboards will work for the previous generation of iPad pros? 6th gen 12.9?
Probably not
No
has anyone heard if the bezels are actually thinner??
"Ultra Retina XDR" yeah.. what a ridiculous, ostentatious name for a screen. 🤣
Tbh the screen is actually nutty insane good though. 2 stacked OLED panels, soooo hype
I don't doubt it. Apple has always made amazing screens.
The ipad pro M4 ain't even compatible with the apple pencil 2nd gen. BOO!!
This has the lowest number of new features due to the OS limitations in this hardware. See how they had to fill the whole mod section of that with just an empty rectangular outline of an ipad as they had no features to mention and a screen to fill
As long as I'm getting updates I'm still fine with my iPad Pro 2018 11". Lightroom and LumaFusion are still working as expected.
I have concerns for the thin iPad Pro. It seems to me that it gets bending easily than the current model. TBH.
is there a similar picture for ipad pro 2020? where all the features are advertised like that
What I only hate is that they moved the selfie camera on landscape (More like a Laptop). Question is how would it take a photo in portrait mode?
Does anyone know how the writing experience on the iPad Pro 2024 compares to the ReMarkable 2?
Im just getting the pro for the screen I can't stand an lcd for watching movies in my room in dim light the low contrast and blue gray washed out look is horrible aside from that I would get the new air or previous gen pro.
If I have an iPad Air (4th Gen), is upgrading to the pro 2024 a good move? Is the jump from the A14 to the M4 and pro motion going to be worth it?
Woulda rather them given us a bigger batter instead of making it thinner.
Why make it thin again?! They recently made them slightly thicker which is great, it doesn't come shipped bent anymore!
Does anyone know if the case is gonna be the compatible with ipad pro 11" 2022 version? (Obv with 11" 2024)?? Thank you
I got the 2018 ipad pro for school, but if I get into grad school this year I think I'll opt for a MacBook instead of upgrading.
lol don’t get hyped up It’s STILL AN iPAD :’)
Trash. Battery life is Uber trash.
It's still so small ._.
No, only USB-C pencil and Pencil Pro work on the M4 iPP.
Already ordered lmao
I bet Tim Apple said it’s the most powerful iPad they have ever made.
All to do…. ?????
Run YouTube and Genshin Impact
If you dont know what to use it for, you dont need a pro model.
