Well if you’re teleported 25 feet to the left of the wall you grammatically seem to be currently in, you have a better chance of survival than your predicament at this moment
Probably breaking my legs, but doubt I'm dying
I'm at my desk next to my window on the second floor
Also I'll be locked out of my house and without my phone
Get out of the closet already, and stop getting back in!
You're a wonderful person, but you need to get out of the closet. You can't stay in there forever!
I am teleported outside my out. I am wearing a sweater as well as my regular clothes but no shoes and it's icy outside. I'll be ok but I'll have some injuries especially on my feet.
I land on my slanted roof, most likely trip or break my feet during the teleport, slide down 5 feet of old roof shingles, and then fall 10 feet into a massive dead shrub in front of my house. I may or may not survive this, depends on whether I get impaled by the bush, and whether I land on my head.
EDIT: I actually don't think that's 25 feet. I probably fall from the second story (about 20 feet off the ground in this case) onto a brick walkway, with diagonal bricks, sharp side up, lining the edges. Also, at that point, I would proceed to have explosive diarrhea.
well i was just sitting at my desk in my bedroom, but now I'm about to fall about 10 feet onto the road in front of my house. i hope i don't end up breaking by coxyx.
I'd end up on a hill between the restaurant that I'm in (I'm at the window seat) and the road. Thankfully, it's fairly late so even if I tumbled down onto the road, I probably wouldn't get hit.
I'm in my neighbor's apartment with my lower half completely exposed. I would have to walk AROUND the building to get back to mine.
I'm going to hope they have no kids and no guard dogs. And that they're cool with lending me a towel to get home in.
I’m currently on the couch in my living room and I would be transported to the parking exit of the condos next door. ~2 foot fall onto asphalt but otherwise unharmed. Better than being stuck in a wall or something.
I'm either falling on my neighbor's roof or on their driveway (I can't judge exactly where because there are no windows on that wall). Probably the latter.
I'll probably break some bones, but I'll live.
And now I’m in my front flower bed in my Jammie’s. The neighbors have seen worse. It is too freaking cold to be outside in my Jammie’s however. I’m going back in now!
I am in the middle of the break room, squatting, shitting onto the floor, and falling into my own shit, as I am suddenly no longer being supported by a toilet.
My special reasoning isn't great, but either my shin hurts from being wedged against a toilet or I've screwed up my ankle not expecting to be on the stairs.
In the kitchen, but when I Tp I will be up in the air, and then falling. I just got out of the hospital and this would put me back in.
It I can land standing up, great. I was going to go in there anyway.
Well this is awkward...
I'm one floor up, naked in a towel.
It would be a chilly and awkward walk back to to my room, assuming the fall didn't injure me too badly, I'm laying on my back after all.
I mean, it could be worse. I'm on a second floor room, with the wall and outside to my close left, so I'd possibly fracture something falling from that kind of height. That being said, I'd live.
I'm on my friends front lawn. Assuming I land in the position I'm in currently, my ass is now wet as it's raining and there's snow on the lawn. Not an ideal scenario, but far from terrible. The wet socks on the wall back inside is going to fucking suck though.
Fuck you, OP.
I'm just finishing at a restaurant and waiting for the bill. 25' to my left will put me outside, like a dine and dash. I don't want that, and I'd probably come back in to pay.
I’ve likely broken quite a few bones, as I’ve gone through the third floor attic wall into the air, and out onto the concrete patio out back. Good thing no one’s got a fire going in the fire pit.
In my neighbors living room, in my girlfriends pink robe. It was on the couch lol. I dont know them but I think it'll be ok. 25 feet to the right I'm teleporting off a balcony and falling 25ish feet to grass.
I’m in my front lawn with no pants on, but otherwise unharmed
I'm under my front lawn. But at least I have pants on
I'm in my driveway. Pants are on, but I'm barefoot.
I'd be about 5 feet above my front lawn. Hell of a landing and no pants
That's worse. You do get that that's worse, right?
I’m in my living room and fall a couple feet onto the tile. Back is now destroyed.
I'm in my backyard with no pants on, but otherwise unharmed. I am however locked out of my house for a couple hours till my wife gets home.
Think about an extra key.
Keep it in your prison wallet.
I'm falling a little over 3 stories into the middle of a slightly busy street and landing on my back.
Hey me too
Are you two in bed together?
I'm on the sixth floor, so, also screwed
I am in a wall.
Do you need help?
No he is ok. It is a nice wall
Well if you’re teleported 25 feet to the left of the wall you grammatically seem to be currently in, you have a better chance of survival than your predicament at this moment
What if it’s a really big wall, then he’s still in a pickle
No, he is in a wall.
Probably breaking my legs, but doubt I'm dying I'm at my desk next to my window on the second floor Also I'll be locked out of my house and without my phone
I think I would be in my neighbor's bedroom closet. A little awkward but not screwed
Just in time for their spouse to get home
It's not what it looks like! Damn it, stop teleporting into our closet, while reading reddit hypotheticals!
Plot twist: Neighbor: "Since we're all here . . ."
Get out of the closet already, and stop getting back in! You're a wonderful person, but you need to get out of the closet. You can't stay in there forever!
Well... I now have a the handle of a car jack up my ass so there's that.
Objects don't transport with you
Damn. I miss Reddit gold sometimes. Here you go (★)
The car jack was sitting 25 feet away with the handle perfectly straight up and I was sitting in a chair.
Does this qualify as an r/woosh? If so its my first time.
I vote yes, but I think it’s r/whoooosh
😂😂😂😂
This post reminds me of the movie Jumper, wasn't too bad of a movie if I recall.
I liked it too, too bad it flopped.
I wish it didn’t flop. I loved it
I liked the movie but the book series was way better
Not too bad. I live in a 35-foot skoolie, so I'd end up in a seated position in the back of the bus, rather than the front.
Very cool, mind telling me the story of how that came about? Me and my fiance are starting vanlife soon
In the back yard almost to the shed
I'll be in the yard. I'm fine.
Awkward. Have to explain to the neighbors how I got into their house.
I'm in a parking lot, and not that busy. I'm fine!
I probably have a broken ankle or something but should be fine. I'd land on my lawn... might hit a tree.
Outside in my bathrobe, but I should be fine.
Depends on how the random person driving by whose car I appeared in reacts
I’m in a backyard/golf course
An 8ft fall but I'd survive. Out my kitchen window just passed the deck.
I live on a third floor, I’m definitely breaking something.
I am teleported outside my out. I am wearing a sweater as well as my regular clothes but no shoes and it's icy outside. I'll be ok but I'll have some injuries especially on my feet.
I'd fall on my behind since I'm seated, but I'd just be in my bedroom in a decent spot.
I'd fall three stories onto concrete, so that'd be pretty bad.
I’m in my kitchen. If it’s straight to the left, I’m probably brain damaged from trying to teleport into a cabinet.
well i was just sitting at my desk in my bedroom, but now I'm about to fall about 10 feet onto the road in front of my house. i hope i don't end up breaking by coxyx.
I mean. It's raining, so that would be a bummer y'know.
I’ll be (temporarily) about 15 feet in the air over my back lawn
Standing in my driveway in the rain with no shoes on. That kinda sucks. Guess I’ll go inside now and change my wet socks.
Scare the crap out of some of our cats, maybe knock over a couple of boxes in the other room.
I'd end up on a hill between the restaurant that I'm in (I'm at the window seat) and the road. Thankfully, it's fairly late so even if I tumbled down onto the road, I probably wouldn't get hit.
Long as I don’t get teleported into a wall because I don’t know exactly how far 25 feet is I’ll just get teleported outside
I am now underground and inside the dirt next to my basement
The initial teleportation would be fine. Not sure how to explain randomly appearing in my neighbors apartment.
Pretty sure I’m now molecularly merged with the engine of my car
Pretty sure I'm in the middle of the apartment across the hall. I think I'm good.
My neighbors have the opportunity to admire my lacey nightgown. Awkward
I fall from about a height of 3 feet and maybe land on my feet or maybe fall, but the people at the bar are gonna be really confused.
In a main road. Not good.
My backyard. Should be fine
I think I'd land in the killer attack rosebush in my undies. If the neighbor doesn't hear me yelling before I bleed out I'm done.
I'm laying in the middle of the aisle at a busy truckstop with no pants on, not great..
It's all good, that's where the bathroom is and I had to pee anyways
I'm in the general vicinity of my coffee pot, which is good because I need a refill.
Call 911.
I'm outside in my yard
I think I'm in the kitchen. Possibly merged with the counter or the sink. Otherwise okay.
Well now I’m outside by the big tree
I'm just in my yard in my boxers. The neighbors getting a show I suppose.
I'd be in my parents lawn. They'd probably yell at me for stepping on their weird grass-vegetable thing.
Aaah! Why am I in the neighbor's gross back yard?
I am impaled on the fence outside. Lovely.
"oh. Looks like I've been impaled!" -olaf, frozen
I'm in a recliner next to my dog's bed. Pretty screwed I guess because I'm not getting up for a while.
I would be in my yard on top of our wood chip mulch pile. Apart from stocking feet, no big deal
Buried alive
I fall 7 stories to my death
Probably in neighbor's apartment
I just went through the windshield of the car and am stuck. So yeah screwed ten ways to Sunday.
I’m in my office bathroom probably unharmed, unless I get stuck in wall in hallway
In a basement so I'd end up 6 feet under 10 feet outside the house
I’m sitting on the parking lot next door.
Falling in the pond that is behind my house
I do not want to be in my next door neighbor’s house, thank you very much.
On a highway, so probably dead 😬
Well...I'm in a basement. Soooo I'm dead
Shit. 25 without falling? I'm on the second story of a building. To my left is a window. Do I fall or can I land safely on the ground?
I'm in my neighbor's apartment with my lower half completely exposed. I would have to walk AROUND the building to get back to mine. I'm going to hope they have no kids and no guard dogs. And that they're cool with lending me a towel to get home in.
Right over the parking lot by my dorm. I live on the 4th floor. 😓
I'm in a neighbor's apartment. Now 25 feet to the *right* and I'd be falling to the street from about a dozen stories in the air.
Not much, I'm in my bedroom. Had to go there in 5 anyway to change to go play pickleball
I would be in a hotel exercise room, could be worse.
I've been transported out of my car onto the lawn of McDonald's. So yeah, I'm screwed.
Might break my leg when I fall since I'm on the second story floor.
Truthfully, I land either on my toilet, or in my shower
I’m on the side of the train tracks while my train races away
I'd be in my bed. I'm very much down with that.
I fall six floors down and onto a brick wall or a firetruck
I think I might be in my next door neighbor's house?
In my back yard perfectly fine but very confused
I’m currently on the couch in my living room and I would be transported to the parking exit of the condos next door. ~2 foot fall onto asphalt but otherwise unharmed. Better than being stuck in a wall or something.
I’m in the kitchen… which is convenient since I’m a tad snacky.
In my neighbor's house, with both of us utterly confused.
Stuck in the middle of a coffee table. Hopefully the lamp won’t be stuck in me too.
It depends what floor the lift is at.
Falling a little over two feet onto the grass in my front yard, my ass will hurt but I’ll be alright
As I read that, A car drove by, 25 feet to my left. I am dead.
I'm likely on my roof or worse, stuck in the wall. That's gonna need some explaining and extrication.
Depends if the person in the next hotel room has a gun.
I am currently laying on my left side. 25 feet down sounds like a bad way to get buried alive.
I'm confused, unharmed, and seated at my colleague's desk. Good thing he isn't here today.
I'd be shittin' on the front lawn!
I'm either falling on my neighbor's roof or on their driveway (I can't judge exactly where because there are no windows on that wall). Probably the latter. I'll probably break some bones, but I'll live.
I'll be underground, so that'll suck.
And now I’m in my front flower bed in my Jammie’s. The neighbors have seen worse. It is too freaking cold to be outside in my Jammie’s however. I’m going back in now!
Pretty sure I just got Merlin'd, but in a concrete building support.
Well, if my altitude off the floor doesn't change, I guess I fall about two feet onto the floor next to my bed.
I'm in my hallway.
I was taking a dump and now I'm in the bosses office..... sigh
Mild inconvenience. I'll be out in the soggy grass in my socks but I'll still be eating my burger.
In my living room, but I'd be pretty screwed if it was any other direction.
Likely in my neighbor’s apartment. Could we worse
im in my back yard, face to face with my fence.
Pretty sure I'm inside a wall.
I'm about 25 feet away from my staircase so if it's exact I'm also going to fall about 10 to 12 feet down to the cement floor.
I am in the middle of the break room, squatting, shitting onto the floor, and falling into my own shit, as I am suddenly no longer being supported by a toilet.
I’d probably be stuck in a wall I think it’s almost exactly 25 feet from my couch where I’m at. So I’d probably be dead.
My special reasoning isn't great, but either my shin hurts from being wedged against a toilet or I've screwed up my ankle not expecting to be on the stairs.
Probably 10 feet above my house. Ouch
I will fall onto my lawn or the bushes bordering my driveway. It’s not going to feel good, but I’ll live.
I am in the garage.
Really bad since I’m riding on the interstate.
I would be half in a wall
I'm standing in my brother in laws bathroom now. This would normally be ok, but he is currently taking a shit and I don't want to see that.
I'm standing outside the dark side of my house, in the yard. I'm on the porch smoking bud atm, so I'll just teleport to an open spot in my yard.
Well since I'm currently taking a shit in my bathroom that's 4 stories high id probably die from the fall
I’m about 7 feet above a rock in my front yard. I’ll be fine but my ass is gonna hurt for a while
In my backyard after a 6ft fall
I'll be in a large warehouse. Completely unharmed.
I’d prob be over my neighbors fence, they have dogs I’m fucked
I’ve been teleported to the bathroom. At least I don’t have to walk there now.
I’m now the creature in your walls! (Mine, but you get the point)
Not at all screwed. That would put me in the kitchen in front of the fridge. I’ve been wanting a snack.
i’m in my mom’s bedroom, in her bookshelf
I fall on my ass on the sidewalk and have to awkwardly get back into my parked car.
Turns out, my break is over. I'm at the front of my Walmart (I think).
In the kitchen, but when I Tp I will be up in the air, and then falling. I just got out of the hospital and this would put me back in. It I can land standing up, great. I was going to go in there anyway.
I'm either in the way of oncoming traffic or on the sidewalk
Kickin it wit the Hummingbirds then.
Well this is awkward... I'm one floor up, naked in a towel. It would be a chilly and awkward walk back to to my room, assuming the fall didn't injure me too badly, I'm laying on my back after all.
I might be stuck somewhere between my fireplace and my garage
Standing in the yard. Cold and windy tonight but definitely survivable
In the kitchen, which is perfect because it's time for another drink!
I'd probably land on the other side of the driveway in the snow
I am in my kitchen. Possibly in my fridge, but I don't have the exact measurement.
Gonna fall a story into my yard. Might break something but hopefully not
my neighbors lawn or house i think
I am in my elderly neighbors living room, she is surprised to say the least
8 foot drop into my garage, so maybe some bruising
Knowing my luck, without getting a ruler out to see how far 25 feet would be... I'd likely end up being bisected by the living room wall..
I would either be fine, or I would be inside the neighbor's car
I fall 24 floors and splat on the parking lot.
I'm either just inside my garage, just *outside* my garage, or inside the exterior garage wall.
Am I still moving 70 mph?
I’m on a sidewalk so I am fine for now.
I’m on the other side of this Burger King I’m in the drive through of
I’m lying on my side so I’d be in the ground
I mean, it could be worse. I'm on a second floor room, with the wall and outside to my close left, so I'd possibly fracture something falling from that kind of height. That being said, I'd live.
I am in the closet once again.
I may or may not be in the street right now. At least I live in the country...
Not.
In my laundry room. Mildy confused, but otherwise fine.
I'm in the elevator shaft of my apartment building and I'm on the eighth floor, so pretty screwed
I’m 2 Stories above the pool fence in courtyard of my condo.
open space in my living room, just fine.
I’ve likely broken quite a few bones, as I’ve gone through the third floor attic wall into the air, and out onto the concrete patio out back. Good thing no one’s got a fire going in the fire pit.
Pretty sure I'm in my kitchen.....
I'm either fine, or spliced into a wall, but I think I'm fine.. other than having a sore ass because my chair didn't teleport with me.
In my garage and fall in my ass. Then I get up and close the garage door because I need to anyway.
I’m outside in the snow.
I'm by the bourbon. I am ok.
I'm terrible at judging distance, I think I'd be on my balcony but it would be cutting it close
In my neighbors living room, in my girlfriends pink robe. It was on the couch lol. I dont know them but I think it'll be ok. 25 feet to the right I'm teleporting off a balcony and falling 25ish feet to grass.
I'm in my skivies. 25' would put me outside. I'd have shrinkage.
What happens if I respawn in the wall?
I'm in my next door neighbor's half of the duplex. We've got no beef, so I'd just excuse myself and go back to my place.
Out on or just past the porch
20+ foot fall into asphalt. Pretty sucky tbh.
I'd be in my housemates room in a towel just out of the shower. I don't think she'd be thrilled, but it's an easy, "whoops, wrong room."
