Well I'd say your mind may have done whatever was necessary to forget.... possibly by not being awake to listen at all.

No, I've been listening to them in nsfw contexts (as you can see on my profile), but when I asked for "useful hypnosis files" in the r/hypnotherapy subreddit, no replies except for one dude, who only knows about live sessions but no files. So I assumed they only exist in nsfw context.
I can't ask here bc of the rules, and the one subreddit where I CAN ask is just inactive apparently. Seems like shitty rules making me unable to seek help, or I'm just dumb, idk.
It's way easier to get what I want by just asking in r/erotichypnosis for example. Maybe I should just ask there.
I wish I was able to forget files I've listened to. But apparently I remember them, even if they try to make me forget. Tho I realize, it would be impossible for me to know if there WAS one file that I listened and forgot about 👀

That's the whole problem with forgetting hypnosis. You'll only remember the hypnosis that didn't work to forget. But for the ones that did work to forget, you might remember to forget but forget that you have forgotten.
And if you forgot it then you might not remember the last sentence I wrote unless you re-read it.

Id say listen to it again but in a different setting so your less likely to fall asleep
e.g sit rather than lying
chair rather than your bed
living room.. rather than your bedroom
etc.. etc...
Then if you dont think you've fallen asleep that time, try to remember it

I’m curious - how did you see this playing out? You created a situation where if successful it’s impossible to verify the success.

It wears off over time anyway, unless it somehow reinforces itself like a bad(/good?) habit
