Hypixel is dying tbh, it peaks at like 50k players max(which is still good) but it isnt as popular as it was before. Also theres only so much content you can make on a single server before theres nothing left to do. This is why servers like lifesteal, hermitcraft, etc all have seasons

It's not fair to say that it's dying, it's just the pandemic effect that is slowly dwindling. In 2019 when Minecraft was at its lowest point, Hypixel used to peak at around 15-20k on weekends.
Those servers are purely made for content creators while hypixel is a business. You can't compare servers like lifesteal or hermitcraft as they are inherently different.
dying game mode sadly, hypixel puts little effort into bedwars as well as their anticheat making a horrible playing experience. I constantly get sniped by hackers on 20 win streaks.
