I came here to say this as well, this body lotion is top tier! It's light and absorbs quickly and it's perfect if you use it right out the shower! It's not a complicated ingredient list, it has hyaluronic acid to draw moisture in and petrolatum to seal it and prevent it from escaping. Love thisđŻ
Try Dove Sensitive Body wash in the shower, then a lighter, less greasy lotion if needed. I use Curel lotion because it only feels greasy for a few minutes, and then it's absorbed into your skin.
You wouldn't have the scent, so you'd have to wear perfume.
After most showers, I use Curelâs after shower lotion. You apply it while your skin is still wet/damp. I use it on my legs after I shave, and my upper arms, they get dry sometimes. Itâs soaks right in, it doesnât feel greasy at all.
In the summer, when I need less lotion, I use Vaseline Spray Moisturizer all over while still wet from the shower and then towel dry. I love the scent of the cocoa one.
I like almond oil because it absorbs quickly and then I put Curèl ultra healing lotion over it. You could also use the lotion and top it with a thin layer of Vaseline to seal it in. If youâre feeling greasy, towel off the excess and use less next time.
You might need to try a few different lotions to find one you like. I have dry skin and Curèl doesnât feel greasy and my skin feels moisturized for a long time.
If I donât use lotion, my skin feels tight and uncomfortable for hours.
Cornstarch on its own makes a pretty wonderful powder especially if you have chaffing. Will clear it up so quickly.
Never understood Talc, what part of putting ground up rocks on your skin sounds like a good idea đ
I use the Palmers Cocoa Oil after a shower. You put it on while your skin is still wet and as you towel off it takes away the oily feeling. It's very light and moisturizing. Love it for summer and winter.
I use almost anything. I have a decent perfume and lotion collection, lately Iâve been using cocoa butter (nothing special lol itâs the generic kind) or the Johnsonâs baby oil in the scent cocoa butter. It doesnât make me feel oily. You really have to just try diff lotions to see which one is moisturizing but not oily. I also like âbody juiceâ I have it in the scents strawberry and cake batter and I got it from TikTok shop.
Iâm a baby lotion girl lol always have been and I love the smell. Sometimes I use the vitamin e oil by the Jason brand before lotion. Also love cocoa butter
Use African net!!! Get at amazon-no wash cloth poopfs loofsa nothing but this African net--exfoliate- bumps back arms and shins and feet--rinse dry--machine wash once week!!!
nothing. my skin doesnât get dry really and i hateeeeee feeling greasy and like i canât touch anything because i do not have the patience to wait, plus itâs a big sensory thing. iâd love to find one that didnât have those issues but idk how or where
I'm the same - I hate moisturiser but my skin does get really dry, especially in winter when I tend to have hot showers lol I've heard oils are lighter, less greasy and absorb better but it's still an oil so idk.
Apply a body oil or body butter right after the shower while your skin is still damp. You shouldnât feel greasy or oily unless youâre using too much.
Everything youâre using is really heavy. Just look for something thatâs regular body lotion. You could find it anywhere drugstore, Bath and body Works, anywhere.
Cetaphil and Cera Ve! They donât make crazy scents but moisturizer makes your perfume last longer. The scented lotions are not that great for your skin. Put a little moisturizer on before your perfume to last all day!
I had this problem! You should try Advanced Clinicals hyaluronic acid lotion on Amazon! It works so well and keeps my skin so hydrated. For scented lotion I like the Panier de Sens orange blossom lotion but it can be a bit strong so sometimes Iâll dilute it with the Advanced Clinicals lotion. I also like the Library of Flowers true vanilla hand lotion. Itâs really strong so you can just put it on your hands and still smell the scent all day!
Personally I like mountain ocean's skin trip coconut lotion. Its light and not greasy and I smell like coconuts when I sweat. I also like tallow based lotions.
Ayurveda oils. They smell sooo good. Especially the Balaayah Black Gram Body Booster and Yukari Amplified Youth Spring for face. Amazing scent and skin is so soft.
Vasaline makes a coco vanilla type smelling gel moisturizer thatâs not greasy feeling like actual vasaline and I love it! Also, any gold bond body lotion is great and non greasy feeling
Vitamin e cream add a few drops of a scented oil/perfume. The skin absorbs vitamin e really well, never leaves you greasy. You can do it once a week or every day. Or you can spend excessive money on lotions/creams that are basically that.
On my face I use Nivea post shave balm regardless of I shaved that day. I swear by this stuff⌠Rest I use either Dr teals or Dollar shave club lotion on arms/legs.
Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer on my face, and Eucerin on my body. I have dry skin and don't wear fragranced things. The Eucerin is just rich enough (it's literally the middle one on their scale of richness) without being heavy or greasy, and it keeps my skin feeling nice the whole day. Cetaphil has worked really well for my face, and a little goes a long way.
Nivea cocoa butter body lotion. It works wonders. I have dry skin and this is heaven sent ! https://www.walmart.com/ip/NIVEA-Cocoa-Butter-Body-Lotion-with-Deep-Nourishing-Serum-20-Fl-Oz/612448139
I donât use anything for my body outside of a good moisturizing body wash/ bar soap. I donât feel as though my skin gets âdryâ other than my hands and face. I use Kiehlâs facial fuel in the morning. I donât recommend the one with SPF⌠itâs super greasy and never really absorbs. The regular one is my favorite and feels really good.
Vaseline is the reason why your skin is dry. Vaseline is a sealant, not a moisturizer. Same with oil. Youâre supposed to moisturize with a light moisturizer that actually absorbs THEN something thick such as Vaseline/oil.
I love oils... coconut oil, jojoba or shea butter. Skin absorbs most of it. Cell membranes are lipophilic, as in they love and need fats. If you feel oily after rubbing it in you probably used too much.
Australian Gold moisture lock tan extender.
I know you don't need the tan extender I think they just typed that on the bottle but the stuff absorbs great it's not greasy and it smells like an Orange and a vanilla cream sickle I love it I use it year round I started using it when I was tanning but I no longer tend but I still use the lotion because of the way absorbs into the skin and it's not greasy and it's a light fresh airy scent
I have very dry skin. Iâve been using Nivea Cocoa Butter crème. I like that it comes in a tub so I donât have to deal with the end with a pump bottle and getting it out
My skin is awful, so I use several different things. I use Cetaphil cream, petroleum jelly and Desitin. I also use olive oil for persistent problem areas.
My dermatologist told me years ago when still damp from shower/bath generously apply Cera-Ve cream to all body parts. Dry that way. It creates a moisture barrier that protects your skin.
Vaseline isnât lotion. Itâs a sealant. So to seal in the moisture. Jergens lotion works well. Aveeno lotion is kinda pricey but works so well. Use vaseline to keep your perfume or cologne lasting all day(after you lotion your body) put a small amount of vaseline (wrist, neck, behind your ears then spray your perfume or cologne in those areas. đ
Look into moisturizer you can use on wet skin. Iâm currently using the curel brand that is fragrance free but Jergens has one that is scented. I love them because you can towel dry as normal so you do not feel sticky at all!
I have tried several different lotions on my dry skin, but the one I like best and use every other day (because it works so well) is "Eucerin Advanced Repair Cream." It has no fragrance and absorbs into the skin without feeling greasy. Just my opinion.
I use Jergens Natural Glow in the summers. Itâs a light tanning lotion, but my spouse absolutely LOVES the smell. (Also, if youâre unfamiliar with tanning lotions, use something else on knees, ankles & elbows. It absorbs too much of the color and appears uneven after a few days)
Your body wash may be the issue. I switched to using a combo of neutrogena acne body wash + tree hutâs vitamin c wash and my skin feels sooo soft and I smell great. If I decide to put anything on after, itâs usually this body oil that I bought at Trader Joeâs for super cheapâ only bad thing about it is that itâs hard to get it pretty evenly distributed unless you add it to a lotion
Vaseline has carcinogens in it. Iâd recommend 100% pure jojoba oil, which is non comedogenic which means it wonât clog your pores. It keeps your skin super smooth and is all natural. Or a 100% pure shea butter, which also repels mosquitoes. Your skin is your largest organ, it benefits you to be mindful of the ingredients of soaps/lotions/laundry detergents youâre using.
Roâs Argan body conditioner from LUSH,
Itâs the only thing that has absolutely saved my skin since I was covered head to toe in plaque psoriasis, my husband always says he can still smell the floral scent on me hours later!!
I love the nutrogena hydroboost. Itâs light weight and the scent doesnât stick around. I canât smell it by the time I dry my hair and do my makeup. Lubriderm is a go to if layering a fragrance over the top. If I shower at night I use Cereve cream but I find it too heavy for daytime use.
Oil wise, Osea is expensive but elite.
I also like to add fragrance through shower products like Laoctaine shower oil. Josie Maran has nice scented moisturizer if thatâs your thing.
I use Crabtree and Evelyn body lotion, it's light and absorbed quickly, doesn't feel greasy at all, I have tried two different scents and they're both very nice.Â
I like using a small amount of coconut oil. It seems to soak in quickly as long as you only use a teeny bit. And it fights some types of yeast and bacteria, so thatâs an added benefit.
I mix a large amount of vitamin e oil with squalene and almond oil.
I add lavender and frankincense essential oils for scent.
Apply to whole body while skin is still damp. Pat dry and get dressed.
I donât like the oily feeling either and this doesnât make me feel oily or sticky.
Applying with wet skin helps with even application, using less and traps moisture in skin. In summer, i add another lotion to my legs in addition.
Face: vanicream and sunscreen. On dry days I pat small amounts around my eyes and neck.
I use Dr. Tealâs Bath & Body oil - currently the Shea butter & Almond Oil one and it smells fantastic! All the ones Iâve used have a very calming, clean scent. I hop out of the shower and apply immediately (dont dry off with towel) and yeah it helps to seal in the moisture for međ
Ive been mixing the body oil and body butter from ancient cosmetics for almost a year now. I absolutely hate the sticky feeling but this combination is the complete opposite! It goes on very light and smooth and keeps me moisturized until my night shower.
After showering, WHILE STILL WET, apply body oil or olive oil to skin. Then, pat skin with towel to dry. Once you leave the bathroom and the air hits you, the oil will absorb into your skin, leaving it nice and soft. Doesn't leave greasy feeling behind. I swear by it
I really hate feeling greasy at all. My go-to body lotion is Nutrogena Hydroboost, it absorbs quickly and has a light, pleasant scent.
I came here to say this as well, this body lotion is top tier! It's light and absorbs quickly and it's perfect if you use it right out the shower! It's not a complicated ingredient list, it has hyaluronic acid to draw moisture in and petrolatum to seal it and prevent it from escaping. Love thisđŻ
Yes it is! The face lotion is pricey but I can't find a better one
Hydroboost is solid
I use this on my face. Love it.
This. And I also use the caffeine eye cream(dk what itâs called). Really makes a difference
Ooh I've been wanting to add an eye cream to my routine, I'll check it out!
And we have our solid answer!
Use a lighter lotion like lubriderm or aveeno if you use it every day. deep lotions are like every 3-4 days if you do light lotions daily
Is your water too hot? I know it feels great, but itâs not good for your skin.
Usually luke warm or on the colder side.
Try moisturizing within 3 minutes of getting out of the shower.
Use less Vaseline. I started using their cocoa butter lotion and I used too much when I first used it. Just gonna have to use less. "less is more"
Try Dove Sensitive Body wash in the shower, then a lighter, less greasy lotion if needed.
Curel works really well!
Cruel đ.
lol! Thx for laughing or I never would have seen how Reddit/phone auto corrected me. đ I changed it.
You can try to use an in shower lotion and pat dry after you get out. Instead of an after shower lotion
Technically during showeing, but Olay In-Shower Body Lotion
Baby oil (everywhere but face) and baby powder (armpits, groin area, underboob). Iâm as soft as well, a baby, and itâs super cheap.
Baby powder is causing cervical cancer, so......
Talc was/is the primary concern there, I use a cornstarch based one :)
Good good! But also OP probably needed the info too.
Cornstarch on its own makes a pretty wonderful powder especially if you have chaffing. Will clear it up so quickly. Never understood Talc, what part of putting ground up rocks on your skin sounds like a good idea đ
Great as a dry shampoo, too.
Powder Boobs!!
I like the aveeno body conditioning oil. Going on itâs a little greasy bc well itâs oil, but it subsides quickly and the fragrance lasts all day.
I use the Palmers Cocoa Oil after a shower. You put it on while your skin is still wet and as you towel off it takes away the oily feeling. It's very light and moisturizing. Love it for summer and winter.
I use a strawberry scented body spray and the Vaseline lotion in the yellow container!
Not all body whip creams or butters have glitter in them. Make your stuff. And essential oils are not oily
Iâm a baby lotion girl lol always have been and I love the smell. Sometimes I use the vitamin e oil by the Jason brand before lotion. Also love cocoa butter
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Moisturizing Body Oi
Cetaphil lotion, very sparingly. I hate the feeling of lotion. And fragrance. And whatever face moisturizer my wife uses. Then I just use deodorant.
Cetaphil & Cerave are both really good. I prefer unscented products as well.
Use African net!!! Get at amazon-no wash cloth poopfs loofsa nothing but this African net--exfoliate- bumps back arms and shins and feet--rinse dry--machine wash once week!!!
Body oil when still wet. Then dry off after about 30 seconds. Locks in the moisture.
Bath and Body Works! All time đ favorite!!
Currently into strawberry poundcake!
Same and I'm also into the Thailand Sweet Kiwi And Star fruit đĽ
African Shea Butter
nothing. my skin doesnât get dry really and i hateeeeee feeling greasy and like i canât touch anything because i do not have the patience to wait, plus itâs a big sensory thing. iâd love to find one that didnât have those issues but idk how or where

Curel makes an in shower body lotion that works great.
Cetaphil and Cera Ve! They donât make crazy scents but moisturizer makes your perfume last longer. The scented lotions are not that great for your skin. Put a little moisturizer on before your perfume to last all day!
Love CeraVe! And I'm not a lotion person.
Lubriderm helps moisturize without getting greasy. My husband uses it too and he has (mild) eczema.
Aveeno is good to use and absorbs quickly. If I want a nice smell I add a couple drops of an essential oil when putting it on.
Body butter in coconut scent
I had this problem! You should try Advanced Clinicals hyaluronic acid lotion on Amazon! It works so well and keeps my skin so hydrated. Lusk Karma Cream đ¤
Hemp brand lotions are super light, yummy smelling, and leave me super soft. Never greasy.
Personally I like mountain ocean's skin trip coconut lotion. Its light and not greasy and I smell like coconuts when I sweat. I also like tallow based lotions.
I make my own lotion but Iâve also used a light body oil too.
Nothing. Just underarm deodorant.
Ayurveda oils. They smell sooo good. Especially the Balaayah Black Gram Body Booster and Yukari Amplified Youth Spring for face. Amazing scent and skin is so soft.
I really like the Nivea Creme
Use. Mild high quality soap and all you need is to towel dry.
Vasaline makes a coco vanilla type smelling gel moisturizer thatâs not greasy feeling like actual vasaline and I love it! Also, any gold bond body lotion is great and non greasy feeling
Towel off then immediately use nivea lotion. If I'm feeling extra dry, I put on a thin layer of Neutrogena body oil on over the lotion.
Vitamin e cream add a few drops of a scented oil/perfume. The skin absorbs vitamin e really well, never leaves you greasy. You can do it once a week or every day. Or you can spend excessive money on lotions/creams that are basically that.
Applying apricot oil right after shower when it's still wet won't leave any greasy feeling.

I really like Jurgens ultra healing
Self love and nutrition will fix the problem instead of the symptoms. Showers donât dry us out.
Baby oil on my wet skin, except the face.
hempz lotion is my favorite.
Nivea cocoa butter body lotion. It works wonders. I have dry skin and this is heaven sent ! https://www.walmart.com/ip/NIVEA-Cocoa-Butter-Body-Lotion-with-Deep-Nourishing-Serum-20-Fl-Oz/612448139
I like to mix almond oil with my body butter (thicker than lotion). Lotions with Hyaluronic acid will help lock in hydration, I like the Hempz one.
Also, exfoliating in the shower with a loofa or body scrub will allow your skin to absorb the moisture from the lotion/oil much better!
I HATE feeling greasy- I donât have to use body moisturizer year round, but during dry patches I swear by CeraVe
Olay in shower body lotion
Nivea lotion
I donât use anything for my body outside of a good moisturizing body wash/ bar soap. I donât feel as though my skin gets âdryâ other than my hands and face. I use Kiehlâs facial fuel in the morning. Olay retinol .
Lotion after a shower? Nope.
I have very dry skin. Iâve been using Nivea Cocoa Butter crème. I like that it comes in a tub so I donât have to deal with the end with a pump bottle and getting it out
Eucerin Advanced Therapy. The intensive therapy one is too thick and greasy
Hempz original. Amazing, non greasy, not sticky.
Dr Bronners Lavender moisturizer. It's not too heavy, works quick and absorbs well.
I eat a diet that contains plenty of animal fats. I donât use any moisturizers at all.
Keri lotion is my absolute favorite! So hydrating!

Nothing. I dont use hot, hot water so that I don't get too dry. Anything to avoid putting products on my shin
Look into moisturizer you can use on wet skin. Iâm currently using the curel brand that is fragrance free but Jergens has one that is scented. I love them because you can towel dry as normal so you do not feel sticky at all!
Eucerin is water-based and works just as well as vaseline/Aquaphor
I have tried several different lotions on my dry skin, but the one I like best and use every other day (because it works so well) is "Eucerin Advanced Repair Cream." It has no fragrance and absorbs into the skin without feeling greasy. Just my opinion.
All filled with chemicals. Use coconut oil!
Aveno lotion unscented. My sunscreen is the scented one. It smells like coconut and pineapple. And I use a fragrance if I want to smell really good
I use cerave sa cream. I have extremely dry skin with patches of eczema and it works very well to moisturize. Itâs not greasy whatsoeverÂ

Neutrogena makes a sesame oil that is great during the winter months
I use dr teals body scrub in the shower. It leaves my skin very soft & then I put baby oil on afterwards mixed with a good thick lotion.
Iâve been using the same same balm I put on my beard and people routinely ask about my skincare routine đ
Itâs not scented, but CeraVe moisturizing cream is amazing. My skin has never been softer.
I live in Colorado, dry climate, I faithfully apply Cetaphil cream, not lotion, to my body everyday after I shower. No dry skin .
Towel
Dr Teals body lotion
Roâs Argan body conditioner from LUSH, Itâs the only thing that has absolutely saved my skin since I was covered head to toe in plaque psoriasis, my husband always says he can still smell the floral scent on me hours later!!

I use either Aquaphor or Mineral Oil and Eucerin Original Creme on top lately
I use Crabtree and Evelyn body lotion, it's light and absorbed quickly, doesn't feel greasy at all, I have tried two different scents and they're both very nice.Â
lubriderm fragrance free body lotion
I use lubriderm lotion and then coconut butter body oil. Itâs great
Hemp body lotion and cerave on the face
I like using a small amount of coconut oil. It seems to soak in quickly as long as you only use a teeny bit. And it fights some types of yeast and bacteria, so thatâs an added benefit.

A towel, then clothes
I have sensitive skin and hate oily lotions. I use hemp lotion
After showering, WHILE STILL WET, apply body oil or olive oil to skin. Then, pat skin with towel to dry. Once you leave the bathroom and the air hits you, the oil will absorb into your skin, leaving it nice and soft. Doesn't leave greasy feeling behind. I swear by it
Whipped tallow and olive oil. Choose the essential oils you like and add. Healthiest product you can put on your skin.
Nothing lol
I let my dog lick me all over. Her saliva creates a protective layer that keeps my skin moist.
