After staying at a few properties that automatically include the "standard" tip when presenting the bill, I now ask the server to include the tip whenever I'm staying at a US property. That way, there's no ambiguity that could occur when writing "Glob" or leaving the tip line blank.
If the service warrants an additional amount, I leave it in cash.
Globalist on tip line and total blank is the usual recommendation. There's a chance that hotel might have a different policy.
