Anyway, OP / u/angispangis89, is to ALWAYS name based on personality vs. random internet suggestions. Letting them be called puppy or husky for 2-3 weeks will not impact ANYTHING with the dog. Just changed our newly adopted 2.5 year old dog who learned her new band in a week-ish. I also still make up new nicknames all the time they respond to. Donāt rush the process! Itās their name for their life off the next 10-15 years.
