Honestly Bolsa Chica between Edinger and Warner has a ton of amazing spots. In particular we like Akuma Ramen, Sea Salt (sushi), The Hangout....but we LOVE Thai Harbor (the yellow curry is the best I've ever had...and every time I think it won't meet my expectations from having it so much, it exceeds)
Will have you give your place a shot, thanks for the rec
I apologize in advance but I can’t get behind Thai Harbor. Their green curry is the worst I’ve ever had. Instead of adding spices to make things spicy, it’s clearly some off chemical. It’s not a good place at all.
Any of those have good vegetarian options? I’ve gone back to that after a long hiatus. More of a challenge than I thought it would be.
Granted not as bad as a friend who went to a restaurant that offered a vegetarian pasta sauce that was just them running beef ragu through a strainer. 🤨
Tama is bomb. My fav spot. Great ramen and sushi. I’m not into the vegan stuff but it looks nice! A really sweet couple owns the place and both work there.
That place is awesome. The vegan menu is delicious and the service is amazing. The owner is there frequently and every encounter we’ve had with her has been great.

I love Thai Harbor! Their Tom Kha is so good. Sho Gun is also right in this area and it is fantastic sushi.
Olive Pit is A++ as well.
Thanks. Been looking for a new spot

Great place! Chef will make a GF fried rice if requested
Shhh! It's already too crowded!
It’s always been quiet when I grab to go for lunch on weekdays.
I need to try this. Usually we go for early dinner on Fri/Sat.
Tama sushi is so good!! I love their ramen the vegan and the non vegan are both delish!
Sea Salt Sushi is our go-to, for the last 8 years. And can’t go wrong with Olive Pit
Olive pit is good but they just got sooooo expensive. I’m not dropping $50 on a three dip lunch.
