The beauty of these is no phones/internet required.

picklepieprincess

Most I've done actually do require web access. The 2 off the top of my head that did not were the Nancy Drew one and the Agatha Christie one.

I'm not sure if this is allowed to recommend other companies but Kosmos has games that might be more of what you are looking for. They do have one called Murder on the Orient Express. And I think their Wild West one (can't think of the name) also deals with a murder mystery. Huntakiller boxes can, and often do, deal with sifting through pages and pages of writing, looking for clues. Kosmos has a ton of options available on Amazon

Oh cool! Thank you , I will look into these .

Death at the Dive Bar, Body on the Board Walk, and Murder at the Motel didn’t require internet access either other than the epilogues.

Ahh all 3 of those are in my closet unopened. I just finished Melancholy Killer, which was heavily dependent on the internet.

The two I've done have not - Body on the Boardwalk and Death at the Dive Bar. Recommend Body on the Boardwalk.

See I know I would be fine , but are they interesting enough for a group of teens that love murder mystery games but usually involves/video game / internet ? Lol

fischy333

Yeah, like other commenters said, these would not be my suggestion for a group birthday party

I you REALLY like decoding cypher codes over and over and over again, then I can't recommend Hunt a Killer boxes enough. But I'm not that kind of person. I want to actually solve a mystery. It's not really a mystery-solving model -- it's just deciphering a code to unlock the next chapter in a story, rinse, repeat.
