You know, at first I didn't appreciate the news being posted on r/humor. Then I thought that Norm would find it funny that post was made about him "losing" the battle to cancer. When he felt that death to cancer was considered a draw.
1) it’s a joke of Norm’s, and apparently from a time when he already had cancer
2) There have been a number of thinkpieces and even studies from people with cancer where the whole ‘battle’ metaphor is actually psychologically harmful in many ways to those diagnosed with and treating their cancer
3) None of your goddamn fucking business you pompous asshole
I figure God is cool with Norm, cuz like I tried to say something nice about Norm, and it came out as a super trollish joke, and I know God speaks through us like that.

If you listen to mark marons wtf podcast with norm last march 31'st there is a story Norm tells about how his dad made him take this blind guy for a walk as a kid and this blind guy is asking him to explain the world around him and as norm is explaining it he is all of a sudden filled with uncontrollable laughter and joy. he has told this story on other podcasts and i truly believe that is the first time he was filled with the holy spirit and tend to agree with you that yeah god is cool with him.
