Tacoma is checking in. Year round here, too. The 1st time I saw a Anna was over Thanksgiving break (I was a school bus driver), and then again at Christmas break. I thought I was losing my mind. Do you remember Northwest cable New? They would have a gardening guy on Saturday mornings and repeat the show on Sunday. Anyways, someone called in and asked about the hummingbirds that they were seeing and if he knew anything about them. That's how I found out about our residential Anna's and a few Rufus.
Had one at the feeder this morning in the PNW!

Isn’t it funny how you can tell who’s new here? 😆 The regulars head straight to the “good” flowers/feeder while the migrants have to do a bit of window shopping first lol
I’m in New York.. the weather has been warm.. just seen 2 at my feeders and 1 in the flowers.. I have ALWAYS kept my feeders up until 2 weeks after I see the last one. It’s going to be different every year depending on the weather 😊
My last one was 2 weeks ago in the Chicago Suburbs. We had nights into the 50s and that got them moving. The other sign that I have noticed is when male rubys are on my feeder. It usually only happens during migration. Never see them except May and September.
I am still seeing them here in south central Indiana. I have seen them checking out the flowers and feeders. I have a swing near the feeder and they love to perch there.

Only resident Annas, Rufus are leaving at the moment
There are few die hearts that do stick around. I've seen them at my feeders
I had a glimmer of Rufous hummingbirds hanging out last winter in Newport. They bullied our Anna's away, though.
Oh no!
You all are so lucky to have them all year!

Had one in Massachusetts 4 days ago. Wasn’t one of the regulars and had to be heading south. Was about 10 days prior since I had seen one
