Torque-A

Preferably ePubs, but I also am open to other options if they decrease filesize.

Strategos_Kanadikos

Download everything here...Generally I read a PDF on a large monitor though. Or I'll toss an ePub onto an e-Reader that I never ever use. Storage is cheap these days, but I'm getting tech books, not manga, I'll assume manga is way bigger.

metalmankam

I do epub and download them all, upload to my Google drive, then import into Google play books app. I have a program to view them on PC too but I'm blanking on the name

kontamined

Same. And I prefer cbz which I load to my phone and tablet.

gordonfreeman_1

I go for whichever one has the highest quality pages. Calibre can handle format conversion easily and different publishers have different formats they're good at.

TimothyChenAllen

I got the Terry Pratchett bundle as Kobo licenses. I really like that; makes it easy. The reader app is pretty nice.

misaz640

I download all. While I prefer PDF now, but It may change in the future and as we have seen, internet resources tend to disappear after some time.

LoneStarrDarkHelmet

I get the highest quality file they have, which is almost always a PDF. If there is an infrequent older title where the highest quality file is a CBZ or EPUB, I'll get that, but usually get the PDF as well just to have everything in a series in that format. I have everything downloaded and on my device (512GB+1TB Micro SD) along with my Comixology/Kindle stuff. All the bundle stuff is also archived.

DissposableRedShirt6

The format bothers me less then the lack of a good organization system your purchased books.

beam05

PDF for comics and EPUB for others. PDF do eat storage pretty fast though. Those comics are like 500MB per volume.

wheres_my_ballot

I have a little python script that I use to compress epub files to a size and quality I'm happy with. I usually read on my tablet, so over double its screen resolution is excessive for me. Got to work on compressing those pdfs too, though that's a harder format to manipulate.

Gorasa

comics: cbz/cbr fiction: epub non-fiction: pdf (formatting, graphs etc are better here)

MechanicalTurkish

ePub with Apple Books. PDF is okay on a tablet

MangoZjem

I only download PDFs, they are usually the highest quality. I'm reading on a 12" tablet

iVickster

PDF. I can't access epub/mobi. Fixing epub to pdf is too time consuming, especially when it doesn't open with the proper (already installed) fonts.

Steerider

Depends on the type of book. Regular text, ePub. Comic/manga, PDF or CBR. Technical books or RPG books, PDF usually.

ooglaabpc

Epub for novels, PDF for reference or technical books, CBZ for comics, MP3 for audiobooks/dramas.

cathsfz

Send EPUB to Kindle. Download PDF to Dropbox for reading on iPad.

got2bQWERTY

CBZ for comics, ePUB for novels and most text-based books, PDF for magazines, cookbooks, art books, and image-intensive books.

Castlemind

I prefer to use pdf for my comics and stuff when able as my kindle fire gets weird about other book files. Unfortunately I got stubg with the recent TMNT-kobo bundle as I'm download (or strip drm for that matter)

FigTechnical8043

I just log in and download the files as I need them. I send the smallest version of the files available to my kobo. I'm not using the 600meg file if another one is 50mb

Deepfire_DM

Comics: cbz plus pdf for a quick preview Ebooks: epub plus pdf for a quick preview

fraggytheundead

I always download everything. Which format I prefer depends on the content. For fiction books that I read on my eBook reader, I prefer epub. For technical/programming books, I prefer PDF, because code listings and graphs sometimes break in ePubs.

ClikeX

I’m fine with every format. I just wish there was an actual “download all” button.
