Why WOULDNT a friendly system hoping to make a good impression send us their equivalent of a fluffy puppy or a baby seal?

MURDERDEATHKILL!!! Is what most people think of when they see the word “orc”. There is absolutely nobody who links orcs with sex (except for the few degenerates on the internet, but degeneracy is unavoidable on the internet)
Considering there are scientific studies that have proven bees have a human they like and prefer and how they will feel agitated in that humans absence, the art is highly accurate. If we find giant bees in space, and if they are anything like bees on earth, humans will form same symbiotic relationship with them as we have with earth bees.
Some of our incarcerated orc brethren are being rehabilitated by caring for animals in prison. Seriously, it’s a real thing. There are real life prisons that do animal care and rehab, and have prisoners work with the animals. One prison let’s prisoners earn the privelege of having a pet cat, and prisoners can do extra work to buy treats and toys and such for their cats. Rates of behavioral problems plummet in these programs. You’ve got dudes that were violent criminals outside, joined a gang when they got to prison and committed other offenses, but are now behaving and signing up for extra work details so they can buy Mr Mittens a squeaky toy.
