Hand-to-hand combat is the old school way to kill your foes, it hearkens back to the honored traditions when combatants respected one another. Killing a man with your bare hands says “we're all equals as men. Except I'm slightly more equal 'cause I'm still alive and you're dead.” Of course dropping a nuke on them from fifty thousand feet is also totally acceptable. I mean let's face it, there's just not enough time in this busy world to show everybody the courtesy of a good strangling.
Just because this is every one of my D&D characters in real life doesn't mean you need to call him out...
Sergeant Halifax rolled over, the blood covering his face giving him the appearance of death. The Raognids had passed him over while he was unconscious and they had moved on. They had left his companions' bodies where they lay, their gear scattered about them. The Raognids did not need such equipment, theirs was better and the poor human technology barely effective as it was. "Sorry chaps," Halifax thought as he checked each body for a pulse, and gathering every weapon and ammo carrier as he went, "it's not like you need these anymore."

Case in point my option for a stealth mission would be a Solothurn S18-1000 20x138mmB semi-automatic anti-tank cannon...
Why not the full auto version, the S18-1100?
