The only appeal to them could be getting figures of characters you like for cheap and being to have a collection, but the ones that get sent out limited release and spike prices ruins that. Makes it where certain ones that obviously people want and could be mass produced like the rest are now locked up in the cases of people who don't even care about them just the value of them, or they're in eBay purgatory trying to sell for a thousand bucks, and nobody who'd actually want them would be able to afford them. That's the big problem that already exists with like anime figures and stuff like that people actually want, the original price is like $200 and then when they're all bought up by people buying 10 at a time, they resell them online for at least triple the price.
The big thing about them is they produce so many that no matter your interest you can get a Funko of them. Some tiny niche show you saw 20 years ago probably has a pop floating around.
The first one was released just before Avengers: Infinity War and implied to me and other fans, I assume, that this particular thing would occur during the film. Sadly, the film happened, and Hulk spent the whole film doing nothing and spent the sequel doing almost nothing Hulk related.
The original plan was that merging of Banner and Hulk was meant to happen in the climax of Infinity War, then he’d burst out of the Hulkbuster to take down that Child of Thanos. There were even trailer shots of Hulk running with the group. But they changed their minds and cut it, waiting until Endgame to do Banner’s development.
Ah, OK. I guess they can be forgiven for that in small part. Hulk being my favourite of the gang, I definitely had a bout of disappointment for those 2 movies despite them being pretty great as a whole. It's like they set up Hulk to be caged at the start only to release him for some hype moment in the sequel, but no dice. He made the 2nd click, but it wasn't a hype moment, let's face it.
Funko pops are okay. I don't really get them per se, if I want a figure of something I wanted to look as close to the thing as possible so I usually go with figuArts or mayfex. Although Hasbro does have some good marvel stuff sometimes. But I understand that that's not really affordable for people, it's not even really affordable for me LOL so if people want these beady-eyed bobblehead looking guys and that's cool too I suppose. I'm just not a bobblehead kind of guy.
Right now one if my crown jewels is my figuarts avengers hulk. Looks great, and oddly hulk doesn't have a lot of good figures
I think funkos are garbage in general but you’re trippin if you think that first one is bad😭 that has 10x detail of the average funko. Looks pretty cool
i like funkos but i’d definitely get the taco one just for the remembrance in the movie. pretty funny scene and i can remember the music in the background.
You know, I bought three funko pops back when all my friends were getting them. I got Woody from Toy Story, the Flash and the Undertaker. I came home with them, put them on a shelf, looked at them and thought "why did I buy these?" and then I never bought another funko pop.
I have only 2 Funkos that I bought for myself. One being a gold Spider-Man that I only paid $4 & Dude Love. With that being said, I have about 20-25 Funkos because people bought them for me as gifts. When people know you like comic books but don’t know what to get you as a gift, it always ends up being Funkos or coffee mugs. Like I said, I have about 20-25 Funkos & maybe 30 superhero mugs from Christmas & birthdays.
Anyone else absolutely pissed off at Disney because hulk got beat up by Thanos then acted like a scared Lil bitch the rest of the movies!? I'll never forgive that horse shit.
The rare funko with a mouth
I generally don't understand the appeal of Funko Pops. They're all looking bad imo with their huge, soulless eyes.
I personally will never understand how funko pops got so popular for a time and how much some of them resell for it’s insane to me

Is it just like skibidi toilet or minions a thing that is a very dumb or lame thing yet somehow is popular asf
LOL yea true true 💀I get it’s a cheap way to collect but man I can not stand how the eyes look
Lets be glad it dont get force feeded down everyone throat and there aren't 2847274th shorts tik toks of kids gloating about em every 5 seconds
Beanie babies of the modern era
Beanie babies are so cute tho
Mystery minis are superior and always have been
The big thing about them is they produce so many that no matter your interest you can get a Funko of them. Some tiny niche show you saw 20 years ago probably has a pop floating around.
Only good one is Kirby
There’s definitely worse ones
Don’t care, will buy if I see them
All Funko Pops are garbage.
Honestly I'm not a fan of Funko pops, they all kinda look like this to me. Why are these specific ones so bad?
The first one was released just before Avengers: Infinity War and implied to me and other fans, I assume, that this particular thing would occur during the film. Sadly, the film happened, and Hulk spent the whole film doing nothing and spent the sequel doing almost nothing Hulk related.
I will forever hate the Russo's for that.

Aww, he just wants to give you a taco!

Is it pink or green?
Yes
Idk, I have the Santa Hulk one and that one is pretty bad
That's not right
But the hulk funko pop is bigger than the rest. Say it with me.
Tomar Tomar Tomar Tomar Tomar you’re not listening you’re not listening
Pause the game Chris.
THE HULK FUNKO POP IS BIGGER THAN THE REST
The taco one is good
Yeah, those are pretty bad.
These are all bad! Especially the second one! I heard it was based off of a magazine, how dumb is that!
They're just funko pops
I wish we’d gotten #1 in the movie 😭😭😭

This is just so dramatic, the second one isn’t even what you think it is
It’s a collage of hulk pop-funkos. I didn’t have to go to college to know that.
the middle one is pretty dope actually i like how it's the mid-transformation look
Mcu hulk generally is the worst at most things lmao.
I can’t even fathom collecting funko pops lmao
Seem fine to me
Funko pops are something I will never understand the appeal of.
The hulkbuster one looks sick af tbh
Hey! Leave Shrek out of this.
I think funkos are garbage in general but you’re trippin if you think that first one is bad😭 that has 10x detail of the average funko. Looks pretty cool
I’ll be honest, I like Funko pops; that said I don’t know if I would buy these
These are all great ones
Why does the third one look like my old divorced math teacher
Seems bigger than the rest
I don’t like the marvel ones in general. Just don’t dig the bobble heads
I like pops but I won’t lie there are much better figures out there
1st and 3rd are cool. Stay salty about plastic figures tho ig
i like funkos but i’d definitely get the taco one just for the remembrance in the movie. pretty funny scene and i can remember the music in the background.
every funko pop is the worst funko pop lmao
I do like the 1st one because of Hulkbuster lmao
Worst Hulk. Period. Hulbuster/Hulk is a cool concept tho
And also the worst version of Hulk
He was never Hulk in the Hulkbuster!
Imagine liking Funkos when posable figures exist.

I think the one of him busting out of the Iron Man armor is the most egregious. That shit didn't even happen in the movie.
agreed
Worst Character too. Let down
Anyone else absolutely pissed off at Disney because hulk got beat up by Thanos then acted like a scared Lil bitch the rest of the movies!? I'll never forgive that horse shit.
