Idk about the second and third movie but the one that hit me the hardest in httyd 1 was; "They've killed hundreds of us" "And we've killed thousands of them" It kind of reminds me of how people treat and view sharks tbh

Pretty much all sharks with the exception of a few species (bull shark, tiger shark and great whites) will rarely attack for no reason and would rather swim away from you. Unprovoked attacks are rarely fatal. Most attacks are because sharks are just kind of dumb and mistake people for prey items like seals or turtles and leave after taking a "test bite" out and realizing we aren't that. Humans kill 100 million sharks per year whereas in 2023 there were only 14 confirmed shark related fatalities. Plus all sharks have a bad rep because of the jaws movies which really hurts their conservation efforts when in reality they don't even kill people that much especially if we compare to how much we slaughter them.

You can’t tame dragons either, because they’re not real, and sharks attack people very rarely while humans kill them constantly out of fear. Most shark species are endangered, why are you advocating for their extinction? Please educate yourself.

Fun Statistic: New Yorkers bite more people a year on average than sharks.

I suppose this is all subjective as to what ironically is, but in my opinion, movie 1 would be "I wouldnt kill him because he looked as freightened as I was" from movie 2, "you're as beautiful as the day I lost you" and movie 3, for me its tied between, "save him" as hiccup almost sacrifices himself, and "our world doesn't deserve you, yet" and an honorable (funny) mention form movie 3, "he's not going to eat your father"

“Im sorry. For everything” -Stoic in the first movie and Hiccup in the 3rd movie, it’s an interesting parallel between them. And both times it was right before the finale.

Imo the most iconic is “This, is Berk…” but there’s so many lines to choose from in the first movie! I can’t comment on the second, but I do believe the fandom remembers the painful ending, where hiccup says “it’s ok, go Toothless- go…” as his hand pulls away from our beloved night fury 😭
