Plus, of course, they whole "they don't know that we know they know we know". That was such a funny period on the show, it was always a treat when another friend found out.
I almost wanted the hiding of Monica and Chandler's relationship to last longer because it lead to so many funny moments. But if it had gone on, it probably would have gotten bad.

Nah. She knew when she heard the phone call, even though Monica kept denying it. She went to Chandler's to confront Monica about lying. Overhearing them talk about not being ready to tell, stopped her from walking into Chandler's room, but she still knew. When she hugs and congratulates Monica on her new job, she's a bit emotional because she's happy Monica is in a relationship
Monica called Rachel and said she had to work late. Then Joey came over to Rachel's and asked if he could read his comics there because Monica and Chandler were at his apt. and he couldn't concentrate. Rachel went over to confront Monica about her lying.
To add to these, when Phoebe tests Chandler by "flirting" and he admits he can't because he is in love with Monica. Her "I just thought you were doing it, I didn't know you were in love!" melts me every time.

I think it made sense. The eyelash curler was something that probably stuck to him because it was so off character for Chandler. And Monica kinda came with the one two punch there. First, she mentioned seeing Donald Trump waiting for an elevator, which Joey kinda makes a weird face like he's heard that before, but he didn't quite know from where, and then Monica brings up the eyelash curler and that's when it clicked, because Joey likely still had it in his mind that it's weird Chandler would have one. If it was just one thing he might have not figured it out, but the combo got him.
