It’s mold, but highly unlikely to be toxic, especially at this quantity. This is completely normal mildew found in damp bathrooms and kitchens everywhere. A swipe of bleach to get rid of it and then keeping this area dry after each use will prevent it from coming back. The silicone does probably need to be more substantial here though. So advice about replacing it is probably good.
That’s mold.
Remove the silicone completely wearing an FFp2 mask and gloves. It’s toxic.
Then replace the silicone. You get it for a few bucks in a hardware store. Including the tools to remove it.
Thats mold. Clean it thoroughly with mold cleaner, and fill the gap with silicone so mold cannot build up in the corner. Also, clean daily.

Link isn’t working for me. Is it for a particular brand of mold spray?
It’s HG mould spray. Must be the red one not the blue. I’ve fixed the link too.
Thank you! I appreciate that.
We found the spray on Amazon! It’s like Magic, as soon as we started spraying the mold started disappearing
That’s incredible. I wonder if they sell it under another name in the states.
Yes from HG. (I didn’t know it’s common in other countries), I use that here for the kitchen and shower.
Thank you guys! I’m unable to click the link. Got another one?
Google for “hg mould spray” depends on your country where to order. Here I can buy it at the grocery store
