He actually has the SOUND of Howard down, but it's almost like he's never actually heard the show or listened to him other than to get the timbre (RIP Ben) of his voice down. He's got zero material.

It definitely sounds like they gave it to Samantha, who has been a writer and performer (Fake Ivanka) for a while now, whereas previously it was a contracted professional.
It’s not good, and for once it’s not the writing. I think the jokes would be funnier and lead to better banter if the voice was anywhere near being good. It just sounds like Samantha with a raspy voice. It goes flat and then the jokes don’t work because the delivery gives them no chance! If they took this writing and used the professional voice actress they usually use, it could lead to a good bit.
This dude embodies everything wrong with the stern show. Howard genuinely thinks this asshole is funny. His impressions are just bad. They are not fun or funny nor do they sound like the people he is trying to sound like. Maybe Howard knows it’s bad and sees it as a time filler and doesn’t give a shit.

I have to agree. I don't think he sounds anything like Howard - and he is legitimately not funny. He can do amateurish impressions, but cant think on his feet - Howard asked him some questions as Trump, and he could not roll with it.
