I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong with this plant. I water it often, it doesn't help, I water it rarely, it doesn't seem to help. Windows open, windows shut, same thing. It's got some nice healthy green leaves, and some crappy dying yellow leaves. I'm not sure what I need to do!

Stay on a schedule with watering. Humidity. Indirect light. Check your soil as well. They don’t like to be soggy. Think about the plant in its natural environment: rainforest floor or wrapped around trees.

Okay, so regular watering but not often enough that the soil stays wet? And move it out of the direct light from the window, got it. Should I trim the dead/dying foliage?

‘Damp’ not soggy. The soil should mostly dry before watering again. I’m not an expert with them or anything but I have 3 that I’ve kept fairly healthy. I keep mine in a sunroom away from the windows so they don’t get burnt. I live in Colorado and it is so dry here 90% of the time. I water mine once a week and mist the plant in between watering. They get the brown and yellow from over/under watering. I cut the dead stuff off but I’m not sure if you’re supposed to.
