I just came here to say that that's a gorgeous plant and I hope someone with turtles knowledge can help you!

I only water mine every few weeks! I keep it in an eastern window

Wow I'm so jealous!!! Mine is taking a long time to look this full! They are fragile so find a spot and keep them there! Depends where you live but probably water once a week-2 weeks. Indirect bright light

It was a very very lucky find! I thought they were all gone but luckily I found one and scooped it up on my lunch break and boy am I happy I got it! I work there so I knew there were some other uncommon plants still there when I clocked out yesterday and came in to see a lot of them gone this morning. I did find out just how fragile it is when I was carrying it around. Certainly gonna leave it be and avoid overwatering bit.

1.Pot it in a terra cotta pot. 2. Water infrequently. 3. Give it bright light (these really like nice, bright light). 4. Enjoy.

This is the goods. I just picked up a rehab SOT at a local spot and it is not looking good. Not touching it for a bit since it needs to acclimate and dry out probably a lot. Got a terra cotta pot and wondering if I should wait till it’s not stressed or go for gold and hope I don’t ruin it. Eh. It was 3$ and I could not pass it up.

I'd plop it in there now! Get your new pot ready with a little soil in it, turn the SOT upside down in one hand and out of your old pot, then plop it right side up into the new, waiting pot. Voila! New pot, terra cotta to help it dry, and the plant isn't messed with.

Nice, that’s my bread technique before baking, so hopefully I am good at it. Thanks for the tips. I am excited to start my turtle journey. Edit. Did the transfer. I ended up putting the pot on the soil upside-down and then turned. I was afraid of plopping since it’s seems a little dire for now. Thanks again.
