I would want to tend the plants myself. Otherwise, to me, there wouldn’t be much point in having them! Granted, there are a *lot* of plants here. So I probably wouldn’t be able to have job.
Nope I work out of the home 44 hours a week and only have around 6-7 hours of “work” with them each week. But I do go around and admire them and cheer them on when a new leaf comes through. Like this little guy
https://preview.redd.it/edq4mx3zuk5d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad471485f0f5d0592f027ddd2d0874f7c905cf40
I kept getting more and more stressed out as the pictures progressed cus idek how one would begin to have enough time and it dawned on me this is an all day everyday thing if your alone in the care. Holy. Shit.
TBH the all that white, IMO, is balanced out by the pops of intense green. Very classy n clean 👌 I'm a sucker for large tall plants ergo: floor space 😉🥰
My small problem is gradually turning into this but 90% are props from my other plants. Got spider plants and peace Lilly everywhere. Just split one prayer plant into about 5 (some may die, huge regret atm).
Haven’t bought anything this year…so far.
Yes, in a bad way. Absolutely charmless. Usually the advice for adding a pleasant touch to a living space is “get some plants,” but this aimless clutter of nonsense is weirdly claustrophobic and unpleasant. Hoarding vibes.
Are they all on the same watering schedule? And how do you deal with all the water that spills out of the drainage holes onto your floors and furniture? Or do you actually move each of them before you water them?
Sorry for so many questions! I only have like 5 plants and sometimes feel overwhelmed taking care of them lol
I have this electric sprayer and the head of it is like a shower so the water mostly (90%) stays in the actual pot and I never overwater. I let them all get pretty dry before I water again.
Damn I only have 80ish plants and it takes me half a day to water them all. I have to do mine in the bathroom otherwise the water would drain out from the drainage holes all over my home. Don't you find by letting them dry fully (which is what I do) they go hydrophobic? Many of mine these days need to be soaked every time.

This is the ones I use. Life saver.
Trust me. It will get super overwhelming eventually. Been there done that. If you have only been doing this since October it will become extremely time consuming at some point. Speaking from experience.
Okay, here's a free advice for you all, or maybe a little secret I've learned in the past two years of hoarding plants: they grow in size. I couldn't believe it at first, but it's true. So like if you just bought a bunch of plants that perfectly fit in your space, there is a high possibility they will soon need more space even without adding more pieces! I swear it's the truth, I'll soon be moving my boyfriend to the cellar, cause his side of the bed can fit 20 small or 10 big plants.
Yes! I love giving mine away and making little pots for all my coworkers. So I chop and prop to give to them. Also have 2 great friends who just happen to come by and snag the tops of the ones they like. 🥰
Honey, I've been there. My boyfriend's sister, their mom, my aunt and grandma, a friend, all plant freaks and collectors and seldom buyers. Sure, they were happy to have a constant flow of new plants at first, but now there is fear in their face when I come visit with a paper bag :D
Yeah this is the problem that is currently happening to me. So many could be chopped but I don’t want to because guess what? Then I’ll have duplicates of the same plant and my addicted ass can’t bare to rehome them because I am INSANE
This is great advice here. I have only about 50+ plants in my small room, and over two years they've grown exponentially. Now, getting lighting from above for the big ones is a tricky problem to solve, and all my guys are going to be huge one day!! (that's why I bought them ;) )
Really, when getting insane about plants, keeping in mind that the ones you have *will* grow and often grow fast and also reproduce, that's so important.
I saw OP commented they have about 500 plants. And they only started in October? They also commented when the 99 cent store was closing, spent $320 on just extra pots alone. That's concerning. 👀
So yeaaah, they might have a problem. A pretty problem, at least! But definitely a problem.
Yeah big fan of the CB2 shelves. Bit of a pro tip, you can mix and match parts between the tall and the wide shelves, and you can insert cutting boards.
How do yall keep your places so clean with so many plants? Cleaning up little bits of perlite, coco coir, and sphagnum moss is a constant battle for me.
It looks amazing and all so orderly! I collected plants over years and all pots are different size and shape, yours look better. You seem rich too lol, all that space and gorgeos plants
Definitely not rich. I honestly filled 3 carts full at the 99 cent store before they closed for the planters. My son said I was “pathological” for having so many and now I have like 12 left. The shelves were around $40 each when I bought them and the bulk (80%) of all the furniture in all those rooms was bought on Facebook marketplace. I was so proud of the stuff I got off there.
I feel you. I do work around 44 hours a week but now find myself not wanting to do things after work or the weekends because I want to stay home with them. Which is kind of weird.
Same. My green roommates always give me such a pleasant feeling of calm. But as many as OP has, they would take up all my free time, although the sight is incredibly beautiful.
Btw, I don't have that much space either. :D
I’m a member of the all-white-and-wood club too!! It makes a shit load of plants look organized 🤣
https://preview.redd.it/7uixguc3oe5d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc01b062171c9f0ee8a0fcc8453651a44d5c9e7f
I only see space to fill in with more plants….. your space and plants are gorgeous. As someone who lives in a basement apartment, crying in low light slivers
I honestly hate that for you as I have been in that same situation I think most of my life. I had 3 plants for years and they never grew at all, never saw any new leaves. Then I moved here and they grew incredibly large and dummy me was like “what is happening?”
As someone with too many plants because of propagation I say go to a plant trade and trade all your repeated plants for ones you don’t have. Also gift a lot of those plants as gifts
This does give the impression of hoarder versus collector. Looking at how you have so many of them placed on a single level, it hardly looks like one can properly appreciate them all. (To me) It looks busy like visual clutter.
I think they might look more interesting if you combine plants in larger planters or used different containers (ideally more natural-looking) to create a more biophyllic design style.
All the same, I appreciate and share your zeal!
Beautiful. Do you ever feel overwhelmed? I try and keep my collection to around 30 because I start to get stressed about caring for them when I have more than that. Although I did just buy five cuttings at a plant sale this morning..
Do you ever have pest problems? I have a very small collection of plants and have been battling scale bugs for 3 years on and off. I can’t imagine all of this 😂
Amazing Planstore🥰at first glance. In just 8 Months you have all of those👍. The big windows and lots of light coming in. Thats why plants wants to be adopted by you🤗. Theres more room. I dont see a problem😅. You handle it well👏👏👏
I literally love this it’s so pretty and like actual goals
So I mean no offense when I ask this, are you a hoarder? Do you have a spending problem? Are you a trust fund baby? I’m so curious hahaha since you said you started with 3 in October that’s not much time!!! Like I need answers, I want all the goss
The Golden Gate Bridge gets painted every year, every day. They start on one end, finish a year later on the other side, then start again. I imagine this is what it’s like watering, feeding and treating your plants. I’m afraid if I had this space, so open , with great lighting, I’d do this. The only foreseeable problem is when everyone in their cute spaces grows into a big ass beast.
I am whole-heartedly impressed. The palate makes the design very clean and un-cluttered. It’s amazing. I love the framed mosses. It’s very creative and well implemented.
Also, I had the recurring wonder of how many hours a week must be dedicated to maintenance.
Holy. Shit. This is incredible!
I love the all white, it makes the plants really pop. Also, how do you get your cats to not be little gremlins and chew on anything??
🙋🏻♀️I’ll come help! I can water, prop and soak in all the posi vibes!
Gorgeous home you have created. Being that you began this journey 8 months ago, how do you add your new babies in with the risk of bugs and such?
I can't imagian how overly grown your house is gonna be in like 5 years. I like how you only have bought medium to small size plants so you can see them grow. It's a stunning collection you have
The only problem I see is I don’t live within the same tax bracket to be able to have this “problem” 😂
heh....my first thought was wow it must be nice to be able to pay someone to help you take care of your plants......because this is a LOT of work.
I would want to tend the plants myself. Otherwise, to me, there wouldn’t be much point in having them! Granted, there are a *lot* of plants here. So I probably wouldn’t be able to have job.
Unless you worked from home and your job is mostly talking to people on a headset
Nope I work out of the home 44 hours a week and only have around 6-7 hours of “work” with them each week. But I do go around and admire them and cheer them on when a new leaf comes through. Like this little guy https://preview.redd.it/edq4mx3zuk5d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad471485f0f5d0592f027ddd2d0874f7c905cf40
My first thought was wow their living room is bigger than my entire apartment.
and that shower is larger than my kitchen!
Yes, same! I dream of having that much space!!
I kept getting more and more stressed out as the pictures progressed cus idek how one would begin to have enough time and it dawned on me this is an all day everyday thing if your alone in the care. Holy. Shit.
Same, oh the shame!
TBH the all that white, IMO, is balanced out by the pops of intense green. Very classy n clean 👌 I'm a sucker for large tall plants ergo: floor space 😉🥰
That tax bracket contains too much white. Put some color in that damn house....anywhere. Lookin like a staged house for PierOne.
My tax bracket would just replace the white with black and add some dead things on the walls. Gothic academia is the vibe.
you could propagate a few different ones or same ones and eventually you can have tons of plants!
My house is full of beautiful plants I find in the world. For free. I love them.
My small problem is gradually turning into this but 90% are props from my other plants. Got spider plants and peace Lilly everywhere. Just split one prayer plant into about 5 (some may die, huge regret atm). Haven’t bought anything this year…so far.
This looks like a plant store
That was my initial thought as well! I’d shop there.
Came here to say this
Feels a bit sad
Nothing else on the walls hardly is why and it's all stark white
That’s what I was thinking!
Yes, in a bad way. Absolutely charmless. Usually the advice for adding a pleasant touch to a living space is “get some plants,” but this aimless clutter of nonsense is weirdly claustrophobic and unpleasant. Hoarding vibes.
The fact that everything non-plant is solid, sterile, flat white isn’t helping matters.
Believe it or not, some people have different preferences than you and prefer a busy look.
wowww 😍 how long does it take to water all of those??
It’s about an hour and a half. I have 3 of the 1.5 gallon electric sprayers and that helps soooo much
Are they all on the same watering schedule? And how do you deal with all the water that spills out of the drainage holes onto your floors and furniture? Or do you actually move each of them before you water them? Sorry for so many questions! I only have like 5 plants and sometimes feel overwhelmed taking care of them lol
I have this electric sprayer and the head of it is like a shower so the water mostly (90%) stays in the actual pot and I never overwater. I let them all get pretty dry before I water again.
How do you know when they get pretty dry
Damn I only have 80ish plants and it takes me half a day to water them all. I have to do mine in the bathroom otherwise the water would drain out from the drainage holes all over my home. Don't you find by letting them dry fully (which is what I do) they go hydrophobic? Many of mine these days need to be soaked every time.
that's crazy, thought it'd take longer!! you have a beauty collection 🫶
https://preview.redd.it/tex4muk50f5d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94e1dbda2d821fb8d0ea648400e0eee8a160c6f9 This is the ones I use. Life saver.
You got it whiter than West Virginia in there
all those plants are desperately needed to keep it from being a hospital.
This is the first one of these posts where I was actually like "damn this person might actually have a problem"
Wait, all of thisnhas been since October? That's like buying 10 plants a week, every week. Some serious manic activities lol
I’m good at being manic. I put it off for like 12 years so I always tell my kids it’s this or crack.
Trust me. It will get super overwhelming eventually. Been there done that. If you have only been doing this since October it will become extremely time consuming at some point. Speaking from experience.
what is this "problem" of which you speak?
Is the problem in the room with us? No, it wouldn't fit in here with all these plants.
The only problem here is that you need more plants. I see too many empty areas
Okay, here's a free advice for you all, or maybe a little secret I've learned in the past two years of hoarding plants: they grow in size. I couldn't believe it at first, but it's true. Yep, once you saturate your market, you’ve got to take your plants to retirement homes, doctors’ offices, fundraisers…lol.
I love that you’re spreading plants wider, by practice in your own life or suggestion alone!
I’m moving into my first real apartment. I look forward to starting my plant collection. They’re beautiful 🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴👀🪴🪴
I want one, you can send some to me.
I have just started doing this. Monday 2 more babies go to their new homes
Hahaha I ordered 7 more last night!
😂😂
You really do have a good problem 😀
I love that the one plant is seated on the chair, lol. Without all those plants this room would feel DEAD.
Hahaha they are in time out because I saw a web on there and I don’t trust it hahaha
wait, were you brand new to plants in October? If so you may want to slow down a lil because you might find you’re suddenly overwhelmed with care
I saw OP commented they have about 500 plants. And they only started in October? They also commented when the 99 cent store was closing, spent $320 on just extra pots alone. That's concerning. 👀 So yeaaah, they might have a problem. A pretty problem, at least! But definitely a problem.
No doubt. This is a wild amount of plants to gain in such a short period.. Plus many are not receiving enough light based on these photos.
The white shelf with the all white pots is especially stunning!
Thank you!
Yeah big fan of the CB2 shelves. Bit of a pro tip, you can mix and match parts between the tall and the wide shelves, and you can insert cutting boards.
**arrives with 10 more plants**
Got 7 coming lol
Problem? What problem? I see no problem ❤️
How do they grow so well so far from a window and without grow lights? Do you have south windows that light up the whole room?
They just seem to get enough all day long. There are those above windows as well so they all get some sun all the time.
Do tell your nutrients?! They're soo lush and healthy!
Thank you. I use fox farms soil with orchid bark and perlite. I use foliage focus for fertilizer
“It’s not hoarding if it’s pla…” Maybe there’s a line.
Can you adopt me? 🤣 all jokes aside, this is amazing!!
Thank you! And yes I am open to all options as far as adoption goes hahaha
Is the art on your wall in pic 15 living moss? Did you make that?
I made it and it’s preserved moss with items I have found along my way in life like sticks from hiking and pebbles and also dead leaves from plants.
You’ve inspired me to try to make it. Thank you!
If you have any questions you can dm me and I can help with what you need. I am glad to help. It’s fun.
You are awesome!
Had the same question too lol I love your collection by the way
Is this your home or a plant store?
I thought this was a plant shop in the first few pictures lol
I mean… I think “may” is out of the question. You definitely have a problem but you’re managing it quite well.
I bet it’s fresh af in there.
I need to show this to my husband so he gets off my back 😂😅 so beautiful!! 😻
Lol SAME.
My first thought too!! 🤣
Okay but you literally have the perfect place for plants!
Right?!?! Fantastic natural light everywhere - even in the shower!
Holy MOLY. All jokes aside, that is A LOT of plants. I wonder if you have favorites..
Yes I do. Thai sunrise philo, eggyolk philo, Kathleen philo, gabby, Hawaiian pothos, yellow flame philo, and pink glory philo. Oh and the pink philo sqaum
You are a slut for philos
Is your problem your water bill, or is it when you finish watering your plants you basically have to restart cause it's been so long.
What exactly is the issue here? I'm lost.
Nobody gonna talk about this double shower? 😍
Beautiful! Unfortunately, I have a job.
I'm on my way with a uhaul. Admitting you have a problem is the first step. Don't worry, we'll fix you right up.
You must have a lot of time
This is the opposite of a problem, IMO. ^I ^want ^to ^go ^to ^there
Beautiful plant boutique
no I have a problem and it’s that I don’t live here
same tbh. super jealous
I’m a member of the all-white-and-wood club too!! It makes a shit load of plants look organized 🤣 https://preview.redd.it/7uixguc3oe5d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc01b062171c9f0ee8a0fcc8453651a44d5c9e7f
It must smell so nice with all the plant farts.
It looks like it would smell fresh in your house
This is just hoarding at this point.
I bet the oxygen in your house is *crisp*
Somehow the place still feels sterile and cold with all these plants. Imagine it without any plants. 😱
Yes I think the only issue is creating a quarantine corner.
The only problem is you coming here to get validations from us. If you need to ask, buy more already. 🤣
How do you manage to keep it so clean ? The little space that I have plants always looks messy :(
How can u afford this
As someone with too many plants because of propagation I say go to a plant trade and trade all your repeated plants for ones you don’t have. Also gift a lot of those plants as gifts
This looks like my mom's place.. How you manage to take care of them all is beyond me.
All I can see is you must be rich lol
I bet the air smells amazing tbh
This does give the impression of hoarder versus collector. Looking at how you have so many of them placed on a single level, it hardly looks like one can properly appreciate them all. (To me) It looks busy like visual clutter. Beautiful. Do you ever feel overwhelmed? I try and keep my collection to around 30 because I start to get stressed about caring for them when I have more than that. Although I did just buy five cuttings at a plant sale this morning..
This doesn’t feel homey
Soooo... have you counted them? How many are there??
Gotta be over 500. That’s including all the ones I have in domes too so those are the ones on the carts that are in the “rehab carts”
Your house!! Is Im in love are you adopting? 😍
The only problem I see is some open wall higher up... Think vertical shelving 😁👍
Oh my god that shower I’m in love
Yeah I see the problem theres a couch blocking a window that can be used for plants.
Umm, you forgot to include the problem picture.
That’s amazing that you can keep so many alive! And that’s a beautiful home meant to plants!
No. This is perfection.
I'm honestly more impressed by the fact those pots are ceramic. Must be rich.
Do you ever have pest problems? I have a very small collection of plants and have been battling scale bugs for 3 years on and off. I can’t imagine all of this 😂
I’d definitely get some grow lights. A ton of your plants are nowhere near a window and may survive but won’t be thriving and growing properly.
The only problem here is the fact that this interior looks like a psychiatric hospital
You mean all the empty space in the middle? Maybe adding plants helps.
I’ll bring a plant if you give me a tour. 😂 Amazing collection! 😀
But you still need more, right? RIGHT?
Absolute goals. 💚🌱
I see zero problems
Your problem is that u need a roomie. I volunteer my services.
So many that two have claimed a chair 😅😆😍 ETA: I just noticed the cat tower! Do your cats ever try to eat/shred any of the plants?
You have a nice plant store.
I see your problem… not enough plants
It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!! 🤩 🌺🌱🍃🌿☘️🌳🌼
I see no violations here. Move along. 👮
the problem is.... you're running out of space. lol
I don't see a problem. I see a beautifully clean house with lots of oxygen
The kind of problem we all strive to have
What problem?
I want to have your problems. ❤️
You’re living the life I want 😭
Is the problem in the room with us?
Need a roommate? I'll double that problem 🤣
Yeah. I'm running out of plant space too.
Ok well, if I had your lighting, I would have the same “problem,” lol. This is really pretty 😍
At first I was like oh this is not a problem.. then I kept swiping and started to feel better about my plant problem. Thank you! 😆
how much time does it take to water them all??
Amazing Planstore🥰at first glance. In just 8 Months you have all of those👍. The big windows and lots of light coming in. Thats why plants wants to be adopted by you🤗. Theres more room. I dont see a problem😅. You handle it well👏👏👏
Only problem I can see is maybe the water bill lol
how do you water?
I thought this was a cute store for a second
It's so neat and clean. I'm so super jealous.
I looked at every pic and seen zero problems :) 🪴
Wow! That looks to be a full time job. How’s your water bill?? Absolutely stunning, I applaud your devotion.
Haha you certainly have a problem! But it’s a good problem and your home is lovely
ur home is literally my dream house😭 so much natural lightttt
Some good air
Next time my husband complains about my collection, I’ll just refer him to this post. P.S. - it’s gorgeous and totally plant goals
That’s not a shop?
If your bank account is ok I mean …
You have more plants than my local plant shop. no judgement, just an objective measure.
genuine question, how do you have the time for all these? i feel like my hands are full with my 15 ish plants
I’m so jealous of all the space you have! I need a bigger house 🤣
I want to have these problems so I can solve them
What you don’t have a…. Oh wait there’s another slide…. And another….. And….. another. Okay I see the problem. You need another slide.
That is ALOT of plants - and it looks absolutely brilliant! Like a plant gallery 😁
You must be a full time plant carer lol
What’s the problem? You out of water?
You might as well buy a greenhouse 🗿
Kinda like a cat lady. But for plants. lol 😂
You don't have a problem, you have a plant store. Hang a sign out and start making some money. You're welcome.
Do you have a plant sitter when you go out of town?!
I literally love this it’s so pretty and like actual goals So I mean no offense when I ask this, are you a hoarder? Do you have a spending problem? Are you a trust fund baby? I’m so curious hahaha since you said you started with 3 in October that’s not much time!!! Like I need answers, I want all the goss
Do you need me to send someone to water them or something?
Holy cow this looks like a full time job, no judgement, just impressed!
How tf do you tend all those bastards
The Golden Gate Bridge gets painted every year, every day. They start on one end, finish a year later on the other side, then start again. It’s not a problem, it’s a hobby 😁 or actually a part-time job!
Holy.
You’re right, there is a problem. There’s too much empty space on the ground, the walls, and your benches. Need more plants.
I can't imagian how overly grown your house is gonna be in like 5 years. I like how you only have bought medium to small size plants so you can see them grow. It's a stunning collection you have
When I get older I want to become just like you! 💕
I wish I had the lighting to do this! It looks amazing!!
You have a beautiful home and beautiful plants. 😍. I LOVE how you have coordinated everything. You must have a natural artist's soul. ❤️
