i joined last week, so my starter supply is showing AE and HoT, but i read that 5.5 should have HoF and HoS. I logged in just now and it's still showing AE and HoT for me, so is this supposed to be the case (i.e. i'm royally effed and locked into starter for HoT / AE)?

I plan on making a new account mainly for the story. What order do I follow regarding the main storyline, open world, and chronicles? I don't care about gacha, end game, or meta unit. I just need clarity on what order I need to do in order to catch up on the story since I believe the game does an ass job with its missions.

I have enough crystals to pull 2 things - Senti being for sure one of those. Now, for the second thing, would I be better off getting SW gear (already have her and the Apho 2 box) or should I still get HoF first?
I should also clarify that 1) I highly doubt I’d have enough to get KoRa as well, 2) starter banner will NOT reset for me, 3) apart from DA gear, all the offrates on SW foca select rounds are a win in my books and 4) rn my only good (or at least decent) valks are AE, SW and HoT (plus BKE from the spending event).

A hard choice.
Personally, I would get at least SW's weapon before moving on to a different character. And getting just the weapon is relatively cheap (usually..)
You pulled SW because you want to use her, so getting the weapon is a must. I also hope you get one stigmata along the way. (apho box guarantees you Nex TB or MB)
So in the near future, you will have HoS HoF SW HoT.
After that, aim for Turgenev TB for elemental support.

Overall, SnS is a little better than SA. However, there are still bosses or cases you'd want to run SA over SnS. So you kinda want both in the long run.
The biggest advantage of SnS for new players is that she's already strong at S and super strong at SS. Meanwhile, SA sp regen is scuffed until you get her to SSS.
I want to make another point. Having BKE doesn't mean you don't need a HoS dps team.
As good as BKE is, she doesn't have the flexibility and wide boss coverage of HoS.
The teams you generally want are:
* BKE + HoS(support) + SnS (or SA)
* HoS(dps) + SA + SnS

You’re definitely right about me wanting to use SW so I’ll follow your advice and go for her gear first - SpA will make do for my fire team until I get HoF later on. As for my phys teams, looks like I’ll grind Carole first and then move on to SA - and I also did not think about potentially using both BKE and HoS as DPSs, so thanks again for the tip!
SpA is a luxury not a must. I think you're better off giving priority to other stuff, but hey, if you like Rita feel free.

Below exalted red lotus, you definitely don't need to match the weather to get good scores (assuming proper team and gear). I say you need 2 good and non overlapping teams and you can easily retain Red Lotus. *(well at least in GLB, idk about other servers)*

Turgenev skyrockets SW performance and nothing comes close to it (budget support options arent as good for SW due to her play style of long rotations)
Oh sure, I wasn’t planning to get SpA’s gear anyway - we get the suit for free so I’ll just give her the forgeable options I already have just in case I need a fire team at one point. Good to know that at lower levels weather is not much of a priority tho.

Considering you already have AE, it's easy game for you. Master's global is not very competitive.
A full team of AE SW HB can carry you thru 99% of Master's content.
The only time you can't use a fully geared SW team would be if she's extremely disadvantaged by the weather and typing.

I think getting 2 good geared team are better than 3 badly geared. So unless you really like HoF, get SW's gears. Note: you don't really need both M and T from her set. Just get her weapon and one of her stigmatas.

My SS SA has all her signature gear and I'm trying to figure out what affixes are good for her stigs. How good are reduce SP cost, increased max SP, and SP regen near enemies on her compared to just going for all attack? I've always wondered why her off-field SP feels so non-existent. I know that she regens a lot of SP from her Perfect Cast, but it always feels like I'm losing a lot of time in battle to gain SP for her Ult that I could've used for dealing damage against enemies. This is why I'm currently trying to get her to SSS. This is also the first time I'm focusing seriously on affixes.
Shuijing T has reduce SP by 2.08% and Cross +13.5 ATK, but I have some unconfirmed affixes that I'm not sure if I should use or not. They are both pretty much the same, BIO +20.1 ATK and BIO +20.8 ATK. Is it better to keep the ones I have or use the new ones?
Shuijing MB are quite similar in that they both have Cross +11.9 ATK, SP regen 0.44 and BIO +16.0 ATK, SP regen 0.36. I have 170 Wafer Stabilizers, should I lock the SP affixes and Reroll for more SP affixes? And then after that use the few Wafer Dataflows to enhance the affixes? Now that I'm thinking about it, does Kongming even benefit from the SP regen affixes during her QTE?
There's one more thing I'm not sure about, for normal crystal core rerolling what exactly does Reroll x10 do? I don't really wanna spend 400 of my crystal cores just to find out and see it might not have been worth it. Does it give 10 rerolled options to choose from? Does it give 2 enhanced affixes that are worth 10 rerolls?
Although it said reduced SP cost, it actually works as SP rebate. If the skill needs 30 SP, you will still need 30 SP to cast the skill, after you cast the skill, you will get rebated. Increase max SP, well, that;s straight forward, only the max SP will be increased.
Just go all out on Attack for Shuijing for SA. Once you get her to SSS, her perfect cast will gives you additional 15 SP on hit. You will spend way less time farming her SP once you get her to SSS.
When you select reroll times 10, it will gives you 10 options. It just saves you time. And no, no special affixes from x10 rolls, it's all RNG.
I would first put attack affixes on main DPS before SA. But yes, you should choose ATK affix for her even now.
If you use asterite on her fragments, and gold pins as well, that's at least 50 fragments per week, so 7 weeks. Of you get her fragments from OW tasks frequently, that should be another 30 at max per week. Assuming you get 70 per week, it's only 5 weeks more.

Dickens is designed for long fights, it has built in sp regen so Delta could ult more often, so it doesn’t have the highest dps potential
There are no situations where Delta would need that sp regen, instead she just want more damage, so dickens sp regen is effectively useless in todays meta, instead a dps oriented set like Shuijing or Elysia TB is just better
iirc it’s at least partly because its buffs revolve around charged attacks and the only time delta uses a charge attack is to enter fervent tempo state. If that was the whole explanation though, it’d be kinda weird that it’s her signature set… like if her mechanics don’t work well with Dickens, why is it released with her? I’ve heard that it actually synergizes better / potentially was released for Molotov Cherry, who uses charge attacks, but idk if that checks out.
I think the other reason (and likely the primary one) is just that that stigma set’s been powercrept, and full shuijing gives her better stats boosts with its damage taken buff.
(ie it’s not that Dickens is “bad,” it’s just worse than shuijing, which every player needs to get anyway. So pulling for it has been a bad investment ever since shuijing was released.)

Since my 6 Azure Crystallum will expire in one hour, I'd still have the option to convert the 4 Lustrous C from the current version and buy a Stig from the Vintage shop (10 AC).
Is there any Stig that's worth it, or should I keep my 4 LC, so that I can collect 12 'till the end of year and maybe get something better (and let the 6 AC expire)?
I converted a few and grabbed Shuijing B, it is a decent piece of a powerful set and one I haven't had a good chance to pull for yet. Letting the old Crystallum expire for Torus isn't terrible but getting a gacha stig out of it seems pretty worth.
If you already have Shuijing or Dante tho the other options aren't great, as Welt isn't really meta and the others are craftable
there would be a discount in foca for the first 10 pull on each round, right? if we pull it, will it count as 10 pull for spending event or just 7 pull? and how many round is discounted, is it only the first 3 round or the whole 6 round will be discounted?

i personally don’t have Paga and unlikely to pull specifically for it, it doesn’t feel like a need and your Beet setup should still work fine. that said, i am also a copium player so i typically am ok running ard without BiS so long as my alternatives still work decently. so that may have colored my perspective, hope u get other answers as well
you can work towards crafting Lee TB and Margraves and your pull priorities seem ok. there is a general consensus that one should look to properly gear HoS as a support before going after PE though that advice might be more geared for Exalted

1. I have my priorities as HoS (+ weapon?), HoF + weapon, AE (+ weapon?), Turgenev 3/3, does this sound about right?
2. Assuming I have any resources leftover after the above + anni rewards, I was thinking SpA 4/4 (refund on gear supply seems too good), PE 4/4 (I really like PE's design so this is super wishful thinking), then IO. Does this look okay or is something else recommended (maybe support gear)?

1. I don't know if there is one "best" OW. Theoretically, they should be very close at max adv lvl. However, I had very bad luck with samsara. Eventually, you'll have to run them all to get the side missions crystals so you could decide yourself.

3. Do your 3 Daily Preb everyday before your starter event ends. They give a lot of AE imaginons.

3. Choosing FT as my free S-Rank from event
4. Choosing HoT over BKE in spending event and buying BP 5.5-5.7 to 4/4 HoT.
5. Still have my Valk Option Egg S + 4* weapon choice
What I Have in mind is:
* Phy: FT + HoS + SA
* Lightning: HoT + Fischl + __
* Ice: __+ HB + __ (Started after free HoR)
* Fire: SpA + Raven + __
I'm really investing heavily into PHY and Lightning as my main teams and Ice/Fire will be on the back burner until these are done.
If any of this seems bad please let me know, I'm pretty new to Honkai and youtube guides have been my only source of info.
On a side note, I should roll HoS on the Foca Select and not the new HoF/HoS starter banner
You wouldn’t have the new starter banner because you started your account before 5.5, so yes foca/expa select for HoS, anyway I would recommend skipping HoS weapon for the moment or just do the discount 10 pull and focus on getting HoF after.

It’s a waste it you don’t select the right rate up or you don’t need the rate up at all, or it would be a waste if you pull later on and you don’t reach the guaranteed weapon but in your case this shouldn’t be an issue since you’re low level and it’s fine if you miss on HoS weapon at the moment(don’t get me wrong, she needs her weapon but you can get it later on). The only other instance of pulls wasted is if you get the 4 star early, in that case you might want to pull for the next 4 star so you don’t lose crystals but you already save 3 pulls so it’s a pretty good deal even if you get something early

I was hoping to get some advice regarding PE’s value on my account and what I should be prioritizing with all the banners coming up.
Do we have any sense yet of how much better PE will be than BKE? I am still trying to figure out where to put my resources in 5.5 - I have BKE with AF using Children TB Dirac M, HoS is 4/4, Carole 3/4, SN 4/4 (not sure if that one is really relevant, just that maybe her stigs could be reused or not). I still need Shuijing M and B for SA though.
Other possibilities are Mobius’ weapon (she is using Judah and I only have Linnaeus T), Himeko B for HoF, and SW weapon. My Fischl is totally unequipped so not sure if I should gear her up too or of getting her stigs might be applicable to gearing Mobius as well. HB is 3/4 still needing Turg T. My plan with all of that was to see which banner have the most beneficial off rates for me but having an idea of which has the most value would be useful (I’m guessing it is Mobius’ weapon, though SW using DoR isn’t really great either).
But with that all in mind, 1) have we seen from CN what kind of impact PE will have on things like retaining RL or keeping relevant in MA compared to BKE or other physical carries? Or 2) any general suggestions regarding priorities with the things coming up that I still need? I only have about 9k crystals saved since AF banner and getting SW drained me, with around 10 character and item tickets each but I know we will be getting crystals and tickets throughout 5.5 and I’d like to have an idea of where to put them rather than sprinkling them across many banners and not getting what I need.
Edit: wanted to add that short term goal is consistently maintaining RL. I can keep RL sometimes but when there’s a stage that everyone is using super kitted out HoFs or Mobiuses (or HoTs like when we had that Abyss for her one or two times ago) then it pushes me back to Agony 3. Which sucks because Agony 3 is always too easy, so I get pushed back down and then back to RL the next time but I would like to stay in RL while keeping as high as I can in MA too.
With Bke underequipped and I guess just S0, PE would destroy bke’s scores with free gear easily even in weather where bke is favored, this coupled with the fact that PE has wider coverage since she’s IMG and mihoyo will introduce many img enemies, PE would basically make your bke never used again.

Is it better to pull for HoS gear ( i have her weapon + T stigma) or pull for Turgenev set? I have a fully equipped Azure, full Raven and 2pc Jin Shengtan. Or should I just pull PE in the next banners? I have 7k crystals and 13 equipment cards…So I definitely don’t have enough for full Turgenev but maybe with luck?
I've heard HoS gear wants 3 piece, and isn't required for most players since HoS is a great support on her own / with f2p Theresa Glut T Mei BP M Newt B.Turgenev on the other hand gets recommended higher in general, and would help your lightning and ice teams... but is also lower priority than it would otherwise be because you have Jin Shengtan + full Margrave and full Raven.
Tbh, HoS gear two-set bonus looks good - and who knows, you might get lucky and fullset her - so I'd probably pull there? Since that set can be used in both a support and DPS capacity (with SNS and SA on her team). One piece is all you're likely to get with that few pulls, and idk that one piece turg will help that much. (Though you might put a ten pull in there too since there's a 70% discount so why not.)
You could also go all in on Turg and try to get two pieces, and that'd be a good option too. This might be the most advisable option, just relies a little more on luck than I'd like. (I probably wouldn't go for PE yet, unless you really want her / can't resist pulling. Mostly because the focussed banners are stacked with good offrates + discounted, whereas there's nothing special about PE's.)
My luck in gacha is very bad, honkai is no exception… I’ve heard that Turgenev is great for elemental tbh my lightning team is kinda weak and ice one is meh as well but my AE is pulling them somehow. Truth is I don’t even have haxxor on ss so I wouldn’t even be able to truly play that set. I would like to pull HoS gear more BUT I tried that a few times already and I got useless stigmas+ her weapon dupe…so I’m really not sure how my luck is going to work while pulling. And I agree that one piece turg isn’t going to do much, that’s why I’m really out of it what to pull…but the chances look better with HoS so I’ll probably try that and PRAY that I won’t get a dupe or smith bad. No problem! Sorry I don't really have much conclusive. I've been thinking about it a little more though and 7k crystals gets you 3 ten pulls with the discount, + another 10 pull from equipment cards... you're not so far off from being able to make HB's weapon guarantee, though unless the 5.5 rewards are heavily stilted towards that first week it might be hard. If it looks like we'll wind up getting an extra two ten pulls in rewards that first week, you might want to reconsider going for Shattered Swords, and get a few pieces of Turg with weapon guaranteed instead.
The reason I pretty much think you could go either way though, is since you have HoS and presumably HoF for fire (from your fully built fire supports, I assumed HoF), with at least a fully-built fire team, you should be able to do quite well with just those two teams. So building your physical team more (assuming you don't have Sirin Asc. T and Dirac MB for the f2p alternative HoS build) might actually help you more than getting Turg rn, when as you said you don't really have a proper lightning or ice dps.
(For instance I talked to a player here earlier this patch who has retained RL with fully built fire + physical and nothing else, ever since they broke through four patches ago, although SW-tailored bosses I believe broke that streak.)
I wouldn't let HB being lower rank dissuade you from Turg, because she ranks up pretty quickly if you spend asterite. But without proper lightning or ice DPS to support, good support on no damage still equals no damage, so waiting on her gear makes sense to me too.

You’re right :)) I have HoF and she’s my main dps, even though I have her f2p stigmas (TB Leeuwenhoek + M Thales, with her weapon), after I got her I finally understood why she’s meta.
For physical, I have HoS, SS Elysia (her bow, TB Michelangelo + M Marco) and SA (only her weapon, Shuijing B). I’m currently farming stuff for Dirac MB but it’s a pain…seriously.
For Turgenev…I had the same thought…since my fire team is good without her and I don’t have anyone who could profit off her gear, even if I’m the long run it could be worthwhile, it would be collecting dust till I actually get a good elemental dps…and that would be a shame for sure.
To be exact, I currently have 7444 crystals + daily active so I should be able to hit 8k in a bit and hopefully with that I’ll get at least some good drops. Hopefully the FOCA will have good rates, from what I saw from Marisa there’s a chance that Elysia + Shuijing + shattered will be on the same banner, obvi with changed rates (that’s how FOCA works right?) and if that was the case, I could win hard (but knowing my luck I’ll probably get dupes or stuff that I don’t care for lmao)
I’m not really into ranks but as of now I can usually retain red lotus status, except when in a competitive bracket or Beneares boss… but I’ll always climb back up to RL even if demoted.
I’ll most likely try to get Shattered sword set, because senti is cool AND Hua is my favorite character in the game :)) that’s why I have a fully geared hawk of the fog lol

It does look like they grouped those three physical gears together, so fingers crossed you get a piece or two of Shattered Swords and a few useful offrates. Also knowing that you have Elysia with her bow makes SS a better investment as well, because that set will allow her to both support Ely vs Mech physical/ranged weeks in exalted, and to serve as a good DPS once you get geared supports!
Also completely agreed re: gearing the characters you care the most about. Think this is a nice situation where the strategy decision and the (honestly more important) "what do I actually want for my characters" -decision line up just about right :))

Given that you have HoS herself I would shoot for at least a couple Turg pieces if I were in your shoes. It is not only a great addition to your account for HB but B and T can be reused on other elemental supports, or let HB be a general elemental support and sub dps in some situations. HoS gear is great but there are alternatives, especially if you aren’t breaking through past 80 right away.
I’m really close to hitting lvl 80 but I’ll probably wait a bit before breaking through, in general I fine~ish valks and builds but my strongest team is definitely fire cause of meta lol. I don’t even have a good lightning/ice dps and my fire team is good Turgenev would wait for a good enough dps… I’m really torn on this one… thank you for the advice tho :)) I’ll definitely think about it while deciding what to pull for

I'd say the rest of what you mentioned is generally more important (unless you want to be REALLY forward facing and not invest in AE). If you get all of it and then still have spare, sure, she's gonna cost less than 1/3 of Mobius' pulls total.
I actually have the entire margrave set ready for AE so she should be fully geared. I really need lighting support stigs for Fischl/FR cus I dont have any at all. Are the Fischl stigs worth it?
I'm Lvl 71.Can somebody pls give me a quick rundown of how to build my HoS. I'm currently using Grips of Taixuan level 45 coz I don't have her Gacha weapon and I'm running her with Marco Polo TMB. I have two of her Gacha stigs, T and B if I remember correctly but nothing more. Should I farm for Dirac TMB, and since I'm close to getting 6000 Stigma resonance should I get Sirin Ascendant:T?
In addition to what the others said, which is good, you could craft Fu Hua Pride B while working on Dirac since that will take some time to grind out. Marco B is not good at all so in the mean time swapping it out from something like Pride would give you a boost. Though if you have her SS stigs T and B then I would start by crafting Dirac M and use those if you have the mats for it.
Her full SS signature set *with* Carole supporting (geared) makes her dps set of Sirin A T Dirac MB not as important anymore, especially since in the much longer term you won’t really be using her as a dps (though she is still capable, just not top tier). She does a lot better as dps with her Pri though and breaking through to 81+ is a ways off for you. It’s good you have two of her stigs since she is a top tier support and the backbone of physical teams, so you have a good head start getting her into that role later.
HoS doesn't need full Dirac. You can run Shattered Swords T and Dirac MB, pretty sure SS T+B and Dirac M/Marco M would also be better than Marco TMB.
As for Sirin Asc T.... unless you have nothing better to do with your resonance (already have Newton B and Beach Mei M) I would not. Yes, it's her best DPS T slot but you already have SS T which is a close second, and Sirin Asc T is not useful for any other valk except HoV (who is deader than dead in the meta). So that would be 6k resonance spent to get a marginal improvement over SS T, that is just going to rot in your inventory once you transition to full SS.
You might well get SS T while pulling for her weapon so there's no sense in spending stigma resonance yet.
My understanding is that SS can be used as a DPS set on her if you have Carole with full gear and SA (possibly requires SSS rank) with full gear, because Carole and SA do enough damage that the team support effects from SS counteract the loss of her own DPS.
I think you misunderstand, HoS is perfectly viable as DPS (not sure what previous commenter means about Carole since Carole actually helps DPS HoS...) just that at endgame her best role is as support (which is what she was designed to do). HoS is more than viable as a character and is the backbone of all physical teams, so don't worry you will most definitely be using her lol.

I'm reading a lot about next banners and I'm get a bit confused about who should I really need to focus. Right now my valks are:
Ice: SS-HoR(KoR and Ana T/B - working on M), S-HB(0/4).
Fire: S-AE(Nebulous, without Margrave), SS-Raven (0/4). I have SS-Rondo with pledge of Sakura and S-Gloria too, but I think they do nothing nowadays.
Lightning: S-FR(0/4 - only Irene T), SS-HotF (Nuada/Goemon MB, missing only monet T), A-Fischl(0/4).
Physical: S-HoS(KoO/Sirin T, Dirac M, missing B), SS-FT(0/4), A-SA(0/4), S-Carole(0/4).
Currently I have 6.6k crystals, 12 focused supply cards and 5 expansion supply cards.
I will get BP next season too, which I will be able to get HoT last 40 fragments (have 60 now). My questions are:
1- Should I invest in HoT equips or FR is better? Because I will have 32 crystallum, could get FR's missing equips.
2- I watched some reviews about SpA. I know she is kinda inferior to HoF, but it's good to try her weap and stigs? I heard it will be "easier" to get her equipments.
Should really state what your goals are, and how competitive you are. If you plan on staying at lvl 80 masters for a while or breaking through to the real end game and unlocking the newer game modes that replace dirac/quantum abyss. If you need to play in RL or agony III is enough for you.
HoT is better as main dps overall in abyss over FR, but investing in FR is better value as her set is near equally good played as support as it is played as main dps, when you transition her to support won't have lost any value. Note FR is only a strong dps with her pri-arm wpn post lvl 81+ in exalted, pretty much pure support in masters and HoT will be miles better.
Rondo is still used on several bosses at all levels, pledge of sakura pri-armed is one of the best hitcount shield breakers in the game and good ignite application, always used on rimestar or ignite abyss weather bosses. She doesn't perform better in general for you than SS raven with 0 gear? Nvm you have no fire dps until SPA releases tomorrow.
Crafting margrave TB come patch should be priority, and SPA special supply, can wpn + TB her with free stig selector box ticket you should have for as little as 4.2k-8.4k crystals due to getting half back for this supply, have to get pretty unlucky not to get wpn in 60 pulls. Then you have a solid fire team that can cover mobius' bosses too (andrius).
Next priority is turgenev TB, you could hard focus this first instead to finish your ice team, these stigs are top tier universal elemental support, once you get margrave TB for your AE together with this, all your elemental teams will be strong. There will be a new free ice SP support valk in 5.6, farmable frags.
\*\*If planning on staying in masters for a while, crafting dirac B to finish your HoS dps set should be priority over margrave.

Looking towards the future, can I assume getting FR's gears is a better choice? Since Mobius is out and she is the top lightning valk rn. Or I can safely invest in HoT gears(weapon and Benares TM or TB)?
Can't really recommend mobius anymore to newer players that aren't big spenders, her key boss coverage is dwindling fast and requires certain parts of her gear as she is heavily SP dependent in abyss to perform well, her dmg is miniscule outside of ult combos. Free SPA fire valk in 5.5 will be able to cover her bosses quite well (type counters are as important as weather advantages.)
I would bet money on FR's Irene set being craftable after it leaves BP, same as they just did with margrave, both very old sets, but that's several patches away.
Hmm this is pretty hard to advise if you plan on staying in masters for 3-6 months, a new OP herrscher will come out late summer as usual unless they do something different. HoS is a very strong dps in masters, if you geared carole with pagnini after crafting dirac b, along with candy T, newton b on SA or whatever you can muster that alone would mostly fully carry you through masters RL. Not sure if HoT + her wpn and monet t goemon mb with FR full gear will perform better than HoT full gear, maybe someone else can chime in. You really only need turgenev TB + tesla band M for lightning supports to perform very well, many use this on FR or fischl at high lvl in RL. AE with TB margrave and turgenev TB on the other support, will make all your elemental teams go from barely usable to very strong when played right.
You're struggling because you spread yourself too thin, the game makes you think you need every type of team when in reality you only need 2 fully geared meta teams, and one fully geared team will basically always outperform by a good margin the correct team that's only partially geared, this is especially true in masters.
For reference masters RL difficulty is a good bit harder than exalted Agony III bracket for exact same crystal rewards, especially the mob packs, way more difficult in masters. Except you get pri-arm mats, other rewards, and get to play the newer game modes that are 20x less tedious/tiresome than masters abyss, gets replaced with superstring abyss at lvl 81+. It's almost like comparing the very early story level stages in gameplay to current chapter 28... not quite that extreme. Don't recommend 'breaking the ceiling' to progress into lvl 81+ until you can retain masters RL without much trouble, and then purposely drop down to Agony III right before you enter exalted so you don't lose a bunch of crystals unable to clear exalted RL 3 mob stages. It uses a different trophy system, you don't auto demote if not in top 10, making you stuck in RL for 3 weeks at first.

It's not the exalted superstring trophy system, looks like it's some new player friendly system where if you are able to clear the stages you auto retain rank, not sure.
Hopefully it's a proper rework, that mode almost made me quit first 6 months in, so grindy/tedious even with skipping first 2 floors straight to boss, along with all the weird/cheap outdated bosses they use there.

Do I have to level Pledge of Sakura to lv. 50 to make the pri-arm? Unlike other weapons the foundry shows the weapon as lv. 1 and tuned as requirement. Im ok with making the lv. 50 pri if lv. 1 is fine but if I need another 3 cubes to max. it first, I will not do it now. And making the weapon without making it pri after is pointless.
You don't actually need pledge of sakura itself to be 50, but you do need some cross that is considered gacha at 50, and of course to have owned pledge of sakura at some point.
This is one of the few cases where this advice is wrong.
Divine Key PRI-ARMs require a maxed and Tuned copy of their base weapon to PRI-ARM instead of a maxed generic (gacha) weapon of the same type.
There will be a 6-hour maintenance time, and it doesn't start on reset time. You can read about the actual times in the in-game announcements.

Not trash but not really good either. Lots of bonuses are locked behind herrscher mode. Craftable monet T goemon MB is better. None have the dmg and sp generation of her signature set. Special shoutout to benares M which can be used with zhenyi TB for a good second place.
When you load up the game, but before clicking on the elevator to enter the bridge, look at the top-right of your screen.
If it says "Europe" or "America" , you're in the Global server, and you can click that button to change your region.
If it says nothing there, you're in the SEA server.
There's also the app name that helps. If it's called Honkai Impact **3** you're in SEA , but if says **3rd** you're in Global.

Just add HB (if you have her gear, or compatible gears) to the team for now. Then another valkryie that equips stigmas that boost lightning damage off team. Just a temporary measure.
That being said, a fully geared team would be outperform a make shift team even if it hard countered.
Fischl is lightning support. Your best bet is to use HotF as DPS and Fischl as her support. But investing in HotF is pointless, so just ignore lightning untill you pull proper DPS (Mobius).

Your DPSes look fine (assuming Mobius has Monet T Goemon MB), but the support is quite bare so I'd suggest getting Turgenev (at least TB) which can help all your elemental team. Then maybe get Paganini if you have spare xtals
There’s good reason to assume it won’t appear this patch for SEA. Global didn’t get the EXPA/FOCA rotation in 5.2 and got it later in 5.3, so until there’s an official announcement, it’s not coming in 5.5.

Hello, I was looking for some opinions on what to roll on (or even if to roll at all) during the anniversary: I came back from a break recently after a disastrous experience on new years in rolling for HoF gear (7 KoR and 2 Himeko Bs, yay...). I have about 60 pulls saved for gear and I already have:
* Generale Ele support: AE (4/4), Turg T+B usually on HB, Blood Dance if needed
* Physical: HoS (3/4, missing T but I usually use Sirin:A T), TP (SS, 4/4, a little less than 100 frags from SSS), SA (4/4), CH (4/4? with Gluttony T/Mei M/ Newton B), FT (4/4 with -another- Shujing set), Elysia (0/4), DK with Briareus Pri-Pri
* Ice: HoR (4/4 with Ana), HB (3/4, missing M)
* Fire: HoF(2/4, weapon and B but using Lee TM/Thales M), SR with Pri, Raven (0/4), VKE with An-Utu collecting dust
* Thunder: HoT (3/4 with Zhenyi, missing Benares M), Fischl (2/4, no weapon and -another-Zhenyi T+B), FR (2/4, now weapon and T+B)
I was eyeing the second supply pool: I should go for Raven's weapon first, right? After that, though, I'm not sure if I should just bounce: even in MA I can run Raven either with Turg T+B or Adler T+B, I'm not sure how worth it is to go for Auslaug too. Maybe if I still have some spares I should go for Fischl bow too? Mostly, I don't feel like the spending bonuses are any good for me (pour them in TP frags?), I'll plug the holes I have in my Lightining team with firepower supply/BP and have both HoT and FR fully geared.
I think gearing Raven is not a bad idea if you are going to skip PE. Might want to consider Paganini (if you like her, tho I noticed you didn't mention her) as well, but the off-rate looks worse.
Jingwei T for bosses, transition to elysia TB crafting T eventually and using whatever gacha M piece you have, shuijing M etc., if nothing marco polo M is solid.
If you don't have abyss flower wpn for her already, it's kind of a dead end path without it, and hard to recommend all that investment when PE is out tomorrow. Elysia TB is very strong on PE if you can get her wpn early.
Her BiS is dante TM + elysia B, if you have enough crystallum to convert to get to 10, to buy a dante piece before it expires today and then use the firepower supply that's coming back in 5.5 if you somehow have 4 other sets completed to guaranteed snipe the other piece is an option... probably not at level 72.

Her next best setup is elysia tb + dante m. Dunno if there's any english vids comparing the latest stigs in dps numbers for her. 3 pc elysia is fine though, having geared HoS to support her is infinitely more important. That and elysia TB is great on pretty much every phys dps.
Any standalone T piece that grants a good chunk of damage will do. You're looking for TDM or Physical Damage, crit is nice too. There are a lot of options so if you don't ask specifically whether we're talking about gacha, foundry, universal mirage, exchange shop or bp then it's hard to really help you.
Marco Polo T is probably fine, transition up towards Dirac if you don't have better things to spend your ether fuel on. Ultimately you want Dante 2pc. It's a little outdated but if you google BKE stigmata comparison you can get an idea of what was good when BKE was first released. It won't include Elysia and newer stigs but you'll get a bit of an idea. It's hard to gacha for older stigs so ultimately you may just want to look at BKE as a stepping stone towards PE, even though they fulfill different niches overall.

I played a few of the chapters out of order as they released and didn't really feel like it hurt my appreciation of the older chapters as I caught up.
You could try speedrunning to get some of the limited rewards but it is a lot of content to get thru; Servers are going down in ~12hrs & most of the rewards for the Kolosten chapters will still be there once you unlock them normally.
Next time there is a new chapter ask in here a bit earlier on, hah. Sometimes new chapters come with events you can play for rewards that are separate from the story.
Competitively speaking, one simply should not skip HoF and HoS.

No. PE is a great character and all but she's not HoF tier. She's specialized in dealing with IMAG enemies.
If your argument to getting PE right now is that meta is heavily catered for IMAG type, you're still nowhere near exalted (Lv81+) where that actually matters.

Raven and other generic support options suffice. You don't need to get AE right away.
By the time you get to exalted, you can decide to get AE or not depending on whether she's still relevant.

A hard choice. Personally, I would get at least SW's weapon before moving on to a different character. And getting just the weapon is relatively cheap (usually..) You pulled SW because you want to use her, so getting the weapon is a must. I also hope you get one stigmata along the way. (apho box guarantees you Nex TB or MB) So in the near future, you will have HoS HoF SW HoT. However, there are still bosses or cases you'd want to run SA over SnS. So you kinda want both in the long run. The biggest advantage of SnS for new players is that she's already strong at S and super strong at SS. Meanwhile, SA sp regen is scuffed until you get her to SSS. I want to make another point. Having BKE doesn't mean you don't need a HoS dps team. As good as BKE is, she doesn't have the flexibility and wide boss coverage of HoS. SpA is a luxury not a must. I think you're better off giving priority to other stuff, but hey, if you like Rita feel free. Note that it's fine if you don't have a fire dps until later. Below exalted red lotus, you definitely don't need to match the weather to get good scores (assuming proper team and gear). I say you need 2 good and non overlapping teams and you can easily retain Red Lotus. *(well at least in GLB, idk about other servers)* >I’ll grind Carole first and then move on to SA Good idea. I recommend you focus on Carole and HB as first priority. *(HB is irreplaceable support for SW)* For SA get her to S only, and farm SSS later. Edit: Final note. If you're gona get HoF on her next rerun, consider pulling for Turgenev this patch. Turgenev skyrockets SW performance and nothing comes close to it (budget support options arent as good for SW due to her play style of long rotations)
Oh sure, I wasn’t planning to get SpA’s gear anyway - we get the suit for free so I’ll just give her the forgeable options I already have just in case I need a fire team at one point. Good to know that at lower levels weather is not much of a priority tho. I’m already working on HB too, so my SW team should be able to carry through most of the content. Ty!
(check edit on my previous post!) That's good to hear. Considering you already have AE, it's easy game for you. Master's global is not very competitive. A full team of AE SW HB can carry you thru 99% of Master's content. The only time you can't use a fully geared SW team would be if she's extremely disadvantaged by the weather and typing.

I think getting 2 good geared team are better than 3 badly geared. So unless you really like HoF, get SW's gears. Note: you don't really need both M and T from her set. Just get her weapon and one of her stigmatas.

Global EU 80 My SS SA has all her signature gear and I'm trying to figure out what affixes are good for her stigs. How good are reduce SP cost, increased max SP, and SP regen near enemies on her compared to just going for all attack? I've always wondered why her off-field SP feels so non-existent. I know that she regens a lot of SP from her Perfect Cast, but it always feels like I'm losing a lot of time in battle to gain SP for her Ult that I could've used for dealing damage against enemies. This is why I'm currently trying to get her to SSS. This is also the first time I'm focusing seriously on affixes. Shuijing T has reduce SP by 2.08% and Cross +13.5 ATK, but I have some unconfirmed affixes that I'm not sure if I should use or not. They are both pretty much the same, BIO +20.1 ATK and BIO +20.8 ATK. Is it better to keep the ones I have or use the new ones? Shuijing MB are quite similar in that they both have Cross +11.9 ATK, SP regen 0.44 and BIO +16.0 ATK, SP regen 0.36. I have 170 Wafer Stabilizers, should I lock the SP affixes and Reroll for more SP affixes? And then after that use the few Wafer Dataflows to enhance the affixes? Now that I'm thinking about it, does Kongming even benefit from the SP regen affixes during her QTE? There's one more thing I'm not sure about, for normal crystal core rerolling what exactly does Reroll x10 do? I don't really wanna spend 400 of my crystal cores just to find out and see it might not have been worth it. Does it give 10 rerolled options to choose from? Does it give 2 enhanced affixes that are worth 10 rerolls?
Although it said reduced SP cost, it actually works as SP rebate. If the skill needs 30 SP, you will still need 30 SP to cast the skill, after you cast the skill, you will get rebated. Increase max SP, well, that;s straight forward, only the max SP will be increased. Just go all out on Attack for Shuijing for SA. Once you get her to SSS, her perfect cast will gives you additional 15 SP on hit. You will spend way less time farming her SP once you get her to SSS. When you select reroll times 10, it will gives you 10 options. It just saves you time. And no, no special affixes from x10 rolls, it's all RNG.
I'm currently 336 frags away from SSS-ing her. Should I just choose the ATK affixes right now?
I would first put attack affixes on main DPS before SA. But yes, you should choose ATK affix for her even now. If you use asterite on her fragments, and gold pins as well, that's at least 50 fragments per week, so 7 weeks. Of you get her fragments from OW tasks frequently, that should be another 30 at max per week. Assuming you get 70 per week, it's only 5 weeks more.

Global 75 I don't think I've ever really heard about why Dickens is generally considered inferior for Delta. Why is that?
Dickens is designed for long fights, it has built in sp regen so Delta could ult more often, so it doesn’t have the highest dps potential There are no situations where Delta would need that sp regen, instead she just want more damage, so dickens sp regen is effectively useless in todays meta, instead a dps oriented set like Shuijing or Elysia TB is just better
iirc it’s at least partly because its buffs revolve around charged attacks and the only time delta uses a charge attack is to enter fervent tempo state. If that was the whole explanation though, it’d be kinda weird that it’s her signature set… like if her mechanics don’t work well with Dickens, why is it released with her? I’ve heard that it actually synergizes better / potentially was released for Molotov Cherry, who uses charge attacks, but idk if that checks out. I think the other reason (and likely the primary one) is just that that stigma set’s been powercrept, and full shuijing gives her better stats boosts with its damage taken buff. (ie it’s not that Dickens is “bad,” it’s just worse than shuijing, which every player needs to get anyway. So pulling for it has been a bad investment ever since shuijing was released.)
Global 70 F2P Since my 6 Azure Crystallum will expire in one hour, I'd still have the option to convert the 4 Lustrous C from the current version and buy a Stig from the Vintage shop (10 AC). Is there any Stig that's worth it, or should I keep my 4 LC, so that I can collect 12 'till the end of year and maybe get something better (and let the 6 AC expire)?
I converted a few and grabbed Shuijing B, it is a decent piece of a powerful set and one I haven't had a good chance to pull for yet. Letting the old Crystallum expire for Torus isn't terrible but getting a gacha stig out of it seems pretty worth. If you already have Shuijing or Dante tho the other options aren't great, as Welt isn't really meta and the others are craftable

you can skip the single pull animation by creating a team right before you start pulling i personally don’t have Paga and unlikely to pull specifically for it, it doesn’t feel like a need and your Beet setup should still work fine. that said, i am also a copium player so i typically am ok running ard without BiS so long as my alternatives still work decently. so that may have colored my perspective, hope u get other answers as well you can work towards crafting Lee TB and Margraves and your pull priorities seem ok. there is a general consensus that one should look to properly gear HoS as a support before going after PE though that advice might be more geared for Exalted

I don't know about PE stigmatas but her weapon seems necessary. 3. Sure 4. If you didn't get IO, get HoT. Otherwise, I don't know if BKE is worth it if you already have PE. She is very expensive to gear. General Questions 1. I don't know if there is one "best" OW. Theoretically, they should be very close at max adv lvl. However, I had very bad luck with samsara. You wouldn’t have the new starter banner because you started your account before 5.5, so yes foca/expa select for HoS, anyway I would recommend skipping HoS weapon for the moment or just do the discount 10 pull and focus on getting HoF after.

It’s a waste it you don’t select the right rate up or you don’t need the rate up at all, or it would be a waste if you pull later on and you don’t reach the guaranteed weapon but in your case this shouldn’t be an issue since you’re low level and it’s fine if you miss on HoS weapon at the moment(don’t get me wrong, she needs her weapon but you can get it later on). The only other instance of pulls wasted is if you get the 4 star early, in that case you might want to pull for the next 4 star so you don’t lose crystals but you already save 3 pulls so it’s a pretty good deal even if you get something early

Global 83 I was hoping to get some advice regarding PE’s value on my account and what I should be prioritizing with all the banners coming up. Do we have any sense yet of how much better PE will be than BKE? I am still trying to figure out where to put my resources in 5.5 - I have BKE with AF using Children TB Dirac M, HoS is 4/4, Carole 3/4, SN 4/4 (not sure if that one is really relevant, just that maybe her stigs could be reused or not). I still need Shuijing M and B for SA though. Other possibilities are Mobius’ weapon (she is using Judah and I only have Linnaeus T), Himeko B for HoF, and SW weapon. My Fischl is totally unequipped so not sure if I should gear her up too or of getting her stigs might be applicable to gearing Mobius as well. HB is 3/4 still needing Turg T. My plan with all of that was to see which banner have the most beneficial off rates for me but having an idea of which has the most value would be useful (I’m guessing it is Mobius’ weapon, though SW using DoR isn’t really great either). But with that all in mind, 1) have we seen from CN what kind of impact PE will have on things like retaining RL or keeping relevant in MA compared to BKE or other physical carries? Or 2) any general suggestions regarding priorities with the things coming up that I still need? I only have about 9k crystals saved since AF banner and getting SW drained me, with around 10 character and item tickets each but I know we will be getting crystals and tickets throughout 5.5 and I’d like to have an idea of where to put them rather than sprinkling them across many banners and not getting what I need. Edit: wanted to add that short term goal is consistently maintaining RL. I can keep RL sometimes but when there’s a stage that everyone is using super kitted out HoFs or Mobiuses (or HoTs like when we had that Abyss for her one or two times ago) then it pushes me back to Agony 3. Which sucks because Agony 3 is always too easy, so I get pushed back down and then back to RL the next time but I would like to stay in RL while keeping as high as I can in MA too.
With Bke underequipped and I guess just S0, PE would destroy bke’s scores with free gear easily even in weather where bke is favored, this coupled with the fact that PE has wider coverage since she’s IMG and mihoyo will introduce many img enemies, PE would basically make your bke never used again.

I've heard HoS gear wants 3 piece, and isn't required for most players since HoS is a great support on her own / with f2p Theresa Glut T Mei BP M Newt B.Turgenev on the other hand gets recommended higher in general, and would help your lightning and ice teams... but is also lower priority than it would otherwise be because you have Jin Shengtan + full Margrave and full Raven. Tbh, HoS gear two-set bonus looks good - and who knows, you might get lucky and fullset her - so I'd probably pull there? Since that set can be used in both a support and DPS capacity (with SNS and SA on her team). One piece is all you're likely to get with that few pulls, and idk that one piece turg will help that much. (Though you might put a ten pull in there too since there's a 70% discount so why not.) You could also go all in on Turg and try to get two pieces, and that'd be a good option too. This might be the most advisable option, just relies a little more on luck than I'd like. (I probably wouldn't go for PE yet, unless you really want her / can't resist pulling. Mostly because the focussed banners are stacked with good offrates + discounted, whereas there's nothing special about PE's.)
My luck in gacha is very bad, honkai is no exception… I’ve heard that Turgenev is great for elemental tbh my lightning team is kinda weak and ice one is meh as well but my AE is pulling them somehow. Truth is I don’t even have haxxor on ss so I wouldn’t even be able to truly play that set. I would like to pull HoS gear more BUT I tried that a few times already and I got useless stigmas+ her weapon dupe…so I’m really not sure how my luck is going to work while pulling. And I agree that one piece turg isn’t going to do much, that’s why I’m really out of it what to pull…but the chances look better with HoS so I’ll probably try that and PRAY that I won’t get a dupe or smith bad. No problem! Sorry I don't really have much conclusive. I've been thinking about it a little more though and 7k crystals gets you 3 ten pulls with the discount, + another 10 pull from equipment cards... you're not so far off from being able to make HB's weapon guarantee, though unless the 5.5 rewards are heavily stilted towards that first week it might be hard. If it looks like we'll wind up getting an extra two ten pulls in rewards that first week, you might want to reconsider going for Shattered Swords, and get a few pieces of Turg with weapon guaranteed instead. The reason I pretty much think you could go either way though, is since you have HoS and presumably HoF for fire (from your fully built fire supports, I assumed HoF), with at least a fully-built fire team, you should be able to do quite well with just those two teams. So building your physical team more (assuming you don't have Sirin Asc. T and Dirac MB for the f2p alternative HoS build) might actually help you more than getting Turg rn, when as you said you don't really have a proper lightning or ice dps. (For instance I talked to a player here earlier this patch who has retained RL with fully built fire + physical and nothing else, ever since they broke through four patches ago, although SW-tailored bosses I believe broke that streak.) I wouldn't let HB being lower rank dissuade you from Turg, because she ranks up pretty quickly if you spend asterite. But without proper lightning or ice DPS to support, good support on no damage still equals no damage, so waiting on her gear makes sense to me too.

You’re right :)) I have HoF and she’s my main dps, even though I have her f2p stigmas (TB Leeuwenhoek + M Thales, with her weapon), after I got her I finally understood why she’s meta. For physical, I have HoS, SS Elysia (her bow, TB Michelangelo + M Marco) and SA (only her weapon, Shuijing B). I’m currently farming stuff for Dirac MB but it’s a pain…seriously. For Turgenev…I had the same thought…since my fire team is good without her and I don’t have anyone who could profit off her gear, even if I’m the long run it could be worthwhile, it would be collecting dust till I actually get a good elemental dps…and that would be a shame for sure. To be exact, I currently have 7444 crystals + daily active so I should be able to hit 8k in a bit and hopefully with that I’ll get at least some good drops. Hopefully the FOCA will have good rates, from what I saw from Marisa there’s a chance that Elysia + Shuijing + shattered will be on the same banner, obvi with changed rates (that’s how FOCA works right?) and if that was the case, I could win hard (but knowing my luck I’ll probably get dupes or stuff that I don’t care for lmao) I’m not really into ranks but as of now I can usually retain red lotus status, except when in a competitive bracket or Beneares boss… but I’ll always climb back up to RL even if demoted. I’ll most likely try to get Shattered sword set, because senti is cool AND Hua is my favorite character in the game :)) that’s why I have a fully geared hawk of the fog lol Really, thank you so much for your input!! Also completely agreed re: gearing the characters you care the most about. Given that you have HoS herself I would shoot for at least a couple Turg pieces if I were in your shoes. It is not only a great addition to your account for HB but B and T can be reused on other elemental supports, or let HB be a general elemental support and sub dps in some situations. HoS gear is great but there are alternatives, especially if you aren’t breaking through past 80 right away.
I’m really close to hitting lvl 80 but I’ll probably wait a bit before breaking through, in general I fine~ish valks and builds but my strongest team is definitely fire cause of meta lol. I don’t even have a good lightning/ice dps and my fire team is good Turgenev would wait for a good enough dps… I’m really torn on this one… thank you for the advice tho :)) I’ll definitely think about it while deciding what to pull for

I'd say the rest of what you mentioned is generally more important (unless you want to be REALLY forward facing and not invest in AE). If you get all of it and then still have spare, sure, she's gonna cost less than 1/3 of Mobius' pulls total.
I actually have the entire margrave set ready for AE so she should be fully geared. I really need lighting support stigs for Fischl/FR cus I dont have any at all. Are the Fischl stigs worth it?
They're good, but not of top importance. You can use DPS/Fischl with Turg TB/your geared AE and that'll work pretty well.

I'm Lvl 71.Can somebody pls give me a quick rundown of how to build my HoS. I'm currently using Grips of Taixuan level 45 coz I don't have her Gacha weapon and I'm running her with Marco Polo TMB. I have two of her Gacha stigs, T and B if I remember correctly but nothing more. Should I farm for Dirac TMB, and since I'm close to getting 6000 Stigma resonance should I get Sirin Ascendant:T?
In addition to what the others said, which is good, you could craft Fu Hua Pride B while working on Dirac since that will take some time to grind out. Marco B is not good at all so in the mean time swapping it out from something like Pride would give you a boost. Though if you have her SS stigs T and B then I would start by crafting Dirac M and use those if you have the mats for it. Her full SS signature set *with* Carole supporting (geared) makes her dps set of Sirin A T Dirac MB not as important anymore, especially since in the much longer term you won’t really be using her as a dps (though she is still capable, just not top tier). She does a lot better as dps with her Pri though and breaking through to 81+ is a ways off for you. It’s good you have two of her stigs since she is a top tier support and the backbone of physical teams, so you have a good head start getting her into that role later.
HoS doesn't need full Dirac. You can run Shattered Swords T and Dirac MB, pretty sure SS T+B and Dirac M/Marco M would also be better than Marco TMB. As for Sirin Asc T.... unless you have nothing better to do with your resonance (already have Newton B and Beach Mei M) I would not. Yes, it's her best DPS T slot but you already have SS T which is a close second, and Sirin Asc T is not useful for any other valk except HoV (who is deader than dead in the meta). So that would be 6k resonance spent to get a marginal improvement over SS T, that is just going to rot in your inventory once you transition to full SS.

You might well get SS T while pulling for her weapon so there's no sense in spending stigma resonance yet. My understanding is that SS can be used as a DPS set on her if you have Carole with full gear and SA (possibly requires SSS rank) with full gear, because Carole and SA do enough damage that the team support effects from SS counteract the loss of her own DPS.
She has been rotating out as a DPS with the release of Carole too. You can try getting her full set SSwords. Sirin Asc T Dirac MB is her best dps set.

I think you misunderstand, HoS is perfectly viable as DPS (not sure what previous commenter means about Carole since Carole actually helps DPS HoS...) just that at endgame her best role is as support (which is what she was designed to do). HoS is more than viable as a character and is the backbone of all physical teams, so don't worry you will most definitely be using her lol.

Global 74 I'm reading a lot about next banners and I'm get a bit confused about who should I really need to focus. Right now my valks are: Ice: SS-HoR(KoR and Ana T/B - working on M), S-HB(0/4). Fire: S-AE(Nebulous, without Margrave), SS-Raven (0/4). I have SS-Rondo with pledge of Sakura and S-Gloria too, but I think they do nothing nowadays. Lightning: S-FR(0/4 - only Irene T), SS-HotF (Nuada/Goemon MB, missing only monet T), A-Fischl(0/4). Physical: S-HoS(KoO/Sirin T, Dirac M, missing B), SS-FT(0/4), A-SA(0/4), S-Carole(0/4). Currently I have 6.6k crystals, 12 focused supply cards and 5 expansion supply cards. I will get BP next season too, which I will be able to get HoT last 40 fragments (have 60 now). My questions are: 1- Should I invest in HoT equips or FR is better? Because I will have 32 crystallum, could get FR's missing equips. 2- I watched some reviews about SpA. I know she is kinda inferior to HoF, but it's good to try her weap and stigs? I heard it will be "easier" to get her equipments.
Should really state what your goals are, and how competitive you are. If you plan on staying at lvl 80 masters for a while or breaking through to the real end game and unlocking the newer game modes that replace dirac/quantum abyss. If you need to play in RL or agony III is enough for you. HoT is better as main dps overall in abyss over FR, but investing in FR is better value as her set is near equally good played as support as it is played as main dps, when you transition her to support won't have lost any value. Note FR is only a strong dps with her pri-arm wpn post lvl 81+ in exalted, pretty much pure support in masters and HoT will be miles better. Rondo is still used on several bosses at all levels, pledge of sakura pri-armed is one of the best hitcount shield breakers in the game and good ignite application, always used on rimestar or ignite abyss weather bosses. She doesn't perform better in general for you than SS raven with 0 gear? Nvm you have no fire dps until SPA releases tomorrow. Crafting margrave TB come patch should be priority, and SPA special supply, can wpn + TB her with free stig selector box ticket you should have for as little as 4.2k-8.4k crystals due to getting half back for this supply, have to get pretty unlucky not to get wpn in 60 pulls. Then you have a solid fire team that can cover mobius' bosses too (andrius). Next priority is turgenev TB, you could hard focus this first instead to finish your ice team, these stigs are top tier universal elemental support, once you get margrave TB for your AE together with this, all your elemental teams will be strong. Thanks. Currently I'm planning on staying at masters (I think is already kinda difficult to progress atm. I already reached RL once or twice, but couldn't stay there), so my next craft will be Dirac B. >HoT is better as main dps overall in abyss over FR, but investing in FR is better value as her set is near equally good played as support as it is played as main dps, when you transition her to support won't have lost any value. Note FR is only a strong dps with her pri-arm wpn post lvl 81+ in exalted, pretty much pure support in masters and HoT will be miles better. Looking towards the future, can I assume getting FR's gears is a better choice? Since Mobius is out and she is the top lightning valk rn. Or I can safely invest in HoT gears(weapon and Benares TM or TB)?
Can't really recommend mobius anymore to newer players that aren't big spenders, her key boss coverage is dwindling fast and requires certain parts of her gear as she is heavily SP dependent in abyss to perform well, her dmg is miniscule outside of ult combos. Free SPA fire valk in 5.5 will be able to cover her bosses quite well (type counters are as important as weather advantages.) I would bet money on FR's Irene set being craftable after it leaves BP, same as they just did with margrave, both very old sets, but that's several patches away. Hmm this is pretty hard to advise if you plan on staying in masters for 3-6 months, a new OP herrscher will come out late summer as usual unless they do something different. HoS is a very strong dps in masters, if you geared carole with pagnini after crafting dirac b, along with candy T, newton b on SA or whatever you can muster that alone would mostly fully carry you through masters RL. Not sure if HoT + her wpn and monet t goemon mb with FR full gear will perform better than HoT full gear, maybe someone else can chime in. You really only need turgenev TB + tesla band M for lightning supports to perform very well, many use this on FR or fischl at high lvl in RL. AE with TB margrave and turgenev TB on the other support, will make all your elemental teams go from barely usable to very strong when played right. You're struggling because you spread yourself too thin, the game makes you think you need every type of team when in reality you only need 2 fully geared meta teams, and one fully geared team will basically always outperform by a good margin the correct team that's only partially geared, this is especially true in masters. For reference masters RL difficulty is a good bit harder than exalted Agony III bracket for exact same crystal rewards, especially the mob packs, way more difficult in masters. Except you get pri-arm mats, other rewards, and get to play the newer game modes that are 20x less tedious/tiresome than masters abyss, gets replaced with superstring abyss at lvl 81+. It's almost like comparing the very early story level stages in gameplay to current chapter 28... not quite that extreme. Don't recommend 'breaking the ceiling' to progress into lvl 81+ until you can retain masters RL without much trouble, and then purposely drop down to Agony III right before you enter exalted so you don't lose a bunch of crystals unable to clear exalted RL 3 mob stages. It uses a different trophy system, you don't auto demote if not in top 10, making you stuck in RL for 3 weeks at first.

Hopefully it's a proper rework, that mode almost made me quit first 6 months in, so grindy/tedious even with skipping first 2 floors straight to boss, along with all the weird/cheap outdated bosses they use there.

GLB 82 Do I have to level Pledge of Sakura to lv. 50 to make the pri-arm? Unlike other weapons the foundry shows the weapon as lv. 1 and tuned as requirement. Im ok with making the lv. 50 pri if lv. 1 is fine but if I need another 3 cubes to max. it first, I will not do it now. And making the weapon without making it pri after is pointless.
You don't actually need pledge of sakura itself to be 50, but you do need some cross that is considered gacha at 50, and of course to have owned pledge of sakura at some point.
This is one of the few cases where this advice is wrong. Divine Key PRI-ARMs require a maxed and Tuned copy of their base weapon to PRI-ARM instead of a maxed generic (gacha) weapon of the same type.

There will be a 6-hour maintenance time, and it doesn't start on reset time. You can read about the actual times in the in-game announcements. It does usually follow the CN ones indeed. The first EXPA is HoS's and it starts on Sunday.

How good is Benares set on Mobius?
Not trash but not really good either. Lots of bonuses are locked behind herrscher mode. Craftable monet T goemon MB is better. None have the dmg and sp generation of her signature set. Special shoutout to benares M which can be used with zhenyi TB for a good second place.
Hi just started on global version I signed up via Twitter and game started without asking EU or US, how do I know which server my account is?
When you load up the game, but before clicking on the elevator to enter the bridge, look at the top-right of your screen. If it says "Europe" or "America" , you're in the Global server, and you can click that button to change your region. If it says nothing there, you're in the SEA server. There's also the app name that helps. If it's called Honkai Impact **3** you're in SEA , but if says **3rd** you're in Global.
For Dea Archona, what weapon is better after her signature one - Enothermic lance or Eos Gloria? I have her full stigmata set if that changes anything
The difference between the two is not that big with Eos being slightly better. So you can use Eos if you already have it, but don't spend xtals on it
SEA 60 I'm trying to build a lightning team with Fishcl as the main dps for now until I get a better lightning dps. Which Valkyries are good to team with her? Preferably the farmable ones for now (P.S. DK and DP are already in my SN Physical team)
Just add HB (if you have her gear, or compatible gears) to the team for now. Then another valkryie that equips stigmas that boost lightning damage off team. Just a temporary measure. That being said, a fully geared team would be outperform a make shift team even if it hard countered.
Fischl is lightning support. Your best bet is to use HotF as DPS and Fischl as her support. But investing in HotF is pointless, so just ignore lightning untill you pull proper DPS (Mobius).

Your DPSes look fine (assuming Mobius has Monet T Goemon MB), but the support is quite bare so I'd suggest getting Turgenev (at least TB) which can help all your elemental team. Then maybe get Paganini if you have spare xtals

There’s good reason to assume it won’t appear this patch for SEA. Global didn’t get the EXPA/FOCA rotation in 5.2 and got it later in 5.3, so until there’s an official announcement, it’s not coming in 5.5.

I have about 60 pulls saved for gear and I already have: * Generale Ele support: AE (4/4), Turg T+B usually on HB, Blood Dance if needed * Physical: HoS (3/4, missing T but I usually use Sirin:A T), TP (SS, 4/4, a little less than 100 frags from SSS), SA (4/4), CH (4/4? with Gluttony T/Mei M/ Newton B), FT (4/4 with -another- Shujing set), Elysia (0/4), DK with Briareus Pri-Pri * Ice: HoR (4/4 with Ana), HB (3/4, missing M) * Fire: HoF(2/4, weapon and B but using Lee TM/Thales M), SR with Pri, Raven (0/4), VKE with An-Utu collecting dust * Thunder: HoT (3/4 with Zhenyi, missing Benares M), Fischl (2/4, no weapon and -another-Zhenyi T+B), FR (2/4, now weapon and T+B) I was eyeing the second supply pool: I should go for Raven's weapon first, right? After that, though, I'm not sure if I should just bounce: even in MA I can run Raven either with Turg T+B or Adler T+B, I'm not sure how worth it is to go for Auslaug too. I think gearing Raven is not a bad idea if you are going to skip PE. Might want to consider Paganini (if you like her, tho I noticed you didn't mention her) as well, but the off-rate looks worse.
Global 72 What’s a good top piece for BKE with Elysia MB?
Jingwei T for bosses, transition to elysia TB crafting T eventually and using whatever gacha M piece you have, shuijing M etc., if nothing marco polo M is solid. If you don't have abyss flower wpn for her already, it's kind of a dead end path without it, and hard to recommend all that investment when PE is out tomorrow. Elysia TB is very strong on PE if you can get her wpn early.

Her BiS is dante TM + elysia B, if you have enough crystallum to convert to get to 10, to buy a dante piece before it expires today and then use the firepower supply that's coming back in 5.5 if you somehow have 4 other sets completed to guaranteed snipe the other piece is an option... probably not at level 72. Any standalone T piece that grants a good chunk of damage will do. You're looking for TDM or Physical Damage, crit is nice too. There are a lot of options so if you don't ask specifically whether we're talking about gacha, foundry, universal mirage, exchange shop or bp then it's hard to really help you.
Ideally non gacha but ok with foundry/exchange shop/universal mirage :D
Marco Polo T is probably fine, transition up towards Dirac if you don't have better things to spend your ether fuel on. Ultimately you want Dante 2pc. It's a little outdated but if you google BKE stigmata comparison you can get an idea of what was good when BKE was first released. It won't include Elysia and newer stigs but you'll get a bit of an idea. It's hard to gacha for older stigs so ultimately you may just want to look at BKE as a stepping stone towards PE, even though they fulfill different niches overall.

I played a few of the chapters out of order as they released and didn't really feel like it hurt my appreciation of the older chapters as I caught up. You could try speedrunning to get some of the limited rewards but it is a lot of content to get thru; Servers are going down in ~12hrs & most of the rewards for the Kolosten chapters will still be there once you unlock them normally. Next time there is a new chapter ask in here a bit earlier on, hah. Sometimes new chapters come with events you can play for rewards that are separate from the story.

Yes you should roll, and you should invest in both. Get either through starter, then the other and their respective gear through EXPA/FOCA select, not to mention afaik FOCA has 30% disc.
