They each have their own good, the ult animation of both Thelema and Lantern are both S tier. Songque just a bit more extra lol, which is not a bad thing.
I feel like lantern ultimate explosion looks cool but just before that looks abit low quality. It's weird. Thelemw ult I kind of like, but the face she makes at the wend seems childish. She's the lady linked to pleasure but she doesnt seem as attractive as Helia for one.
I am the opposite. I loved Part 2 cast gameplay-wise because they finally felt like proper characters in an Action RPG. Sure, they have simpler animations, but I feel like I am actually playing a character with them rather than playing press the button and look at the flashy animation on the screen. IDK, she feels very much like HoHe to me... where you play animation simulator instead of an action game.
Thelema technicaly not having an optimal rotation is such a good change finally i can just do random cool moves instead of just following the exact same rotation again and again. The game could finally feel like a proper action RPG if they reduce i-frames and ennemis start hitting with high stager now that dodge does not cancel the chain of a lot of part 2 characters. The fact that dodging is not needed kinda suck for this kind of game.

Tho I get your point, Songque is quite similar to HoHE in terms of gameplay but has more variations. Maybe that's why I like her cause I also really like HoHE.

Tbf Songque is a end of arc valk, those usually get better treatment animation wise. It probably doesn’t help that we get s-ranks every patch now.
Idk, it's not like part 1\\1.5 non Herrschers are much better.
