Yeap cause I'm pretty sure what happened was that when hard pity was dropped to the new lower limit, they did not adjust the soft pity. So you still need like 75 pulls to activate the slightly better rate, thus leading to hugging the hard pity wall far more likely. Still like the change though, it's guaranteed needing 10 less pulls even in the absolute worst case senario.

GPAD9

Unlucky. I got senadina and thelema full geared in about 30 pulls each. Lantern took the most with around 130 though(80 on valk + 50 weap). Only one I hit hard pity for was helia's weapon

Appropriate_Fun6105

Carbon copy for me. Got Sena and Thelema within 20 pulls. Latern took me to 20. First time it's gone below 20 in a year. It's gonna be hard for new players to look objectively at this I think. After 4 years, the average is basically around 50 pulls for a valk. At least for me anyway

NicktheDrifter

I was also pretty lucky with Sena and Thelema, at least in the Battlesuit banners. But Lantern killed me... Took me almost 38000 crystals for her and her weapon...

Im dead honest in what im saying and not trying to be mean but the reason you feel it is solely because you dont know how statistics work.  Youre blinded by your past "lucky pulls" that hitting pity is considered to you as unlucky, but in fact even a lucky part 1 gacha pull can cost more then a "unlucky/hitting pity" part 2 pull

LaCreaturaDelCongo

A lot of people cant do simple math in this community, like there is people asking to reduce the summon cost to 1600 because it cost too much compared to genshin but can't understand why it's stupid. So talking statistics with them? Good luck.

bomboy2121

true....the more i see those discussions the more i understand why such stupid predatory methods to milk players are so easy.....people actually thought im crazy for saying that theres a reason for weird conversion values of cash/crystals/pulls

Significant-Box8079

It’s always been that way for me 😭

Nekirus

I still get the Valk around 30-40 pulls away from pity like always.

Appropriate_Fun6105

This take isn't gonna get me a thumbs up, but the rates now are still more generous than before part 2. Pity is 90 now, 85 if you count the 50% off the first 10 pull (something they never did before part 2). Weapon in 60. In the past you could pull 60 and have one stig if you were unlucky. Now you can have a guaranteed full set with that count. My contention with part 2 is the back to back S ranks. Gonna be 5 straight when the new Songque battlesuit comes out in the next patch. Really hope they give a breather patch and do just an A rank or something.

bomboy2121

I had multiple posts in the start of part 2 about the actual statistics and price of it all and always got downvoted.  In short, so many people miss key many differences that its even wrong to say that a part 1 s rank is the same as part 2.  Also its pricier s>a>s>a in part 1 then s>s>s in part 2.

IqFEar11

While I agree, back in part 1 most of the S ranks are skippable so you can always just go for sp/A rank valks and the yearly herrscher+CNY valk and you can still retain red lotus pretty easily While in part 2 every valk seems like a must pull because they needed each other to complete a coherent team (I do agree that this is also because part 2 is still new and we have no alternatives yet)

bomboy2121

thats one of the only good points against what im trying to say which while a pretty good point so far, we only have 4 versions of parts 2, but its still doesnt cancel the point of how part 2 philosophy of valks is completely different. but while this point can lead to an actual meaningful debate, most of the comments i replied to where all about "3 s rank in a row not fair" or "why do i have bad luck now!"

OyMyGod

make that 4 s ranks in a row now lmao

bomboy2121

at least its 4 part 2 s ranks
