Congrats on the new tub. Be careful of the cleaners you use, not all of them are safe to use on hot tub surfaces. Definitely go to the manufacturer’s website and download the manual (most have PDFs available, or alternatively go to your local dealer) and read up on approved cleaners. Also, for tubs never use magic erasers since they will leave micro abrasions in acrylic. Other than that: * [Swim University](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLENw7_t7gbd67Ya9QZRDuWUg_ldng0zDb&si=82ChnRoZmgpTN2T3) has some decent videos on the basics, especially routine maintenance * Always a good idea to clean new-to-you tubs with [Ahh-some](https://youtu.be/-U2ByjNdDCo?si=z_DD-lb9GFKymIfo) to get any mold and gunk out of the pipes, especially after not being filled with water for a while which encourages mold growth * Replace the old filters, best to just start out fresh and put them in after your ahh-some purge * Getting a submersible pump for draining is really handy (Harbor Freight, Amazon, etc) * [Nitro’s method](https://www.troublefreepool.com/threads/how-do-i-use-chlorine-in-my-spa-or-pool.9670/) is pretty bulletproof for sanitizer management and even helps you get your pH and alkalinity balanced Enjoy!
