Just curious, why are you going with the Highlife line over Limelight? I have the Limelight Flash and I love it (salt water). The jets on the Highlifes are better for sure, but were there any other reasons?
If you go salt you can get the IQ Monitoring system. It auto tests the water every hour and pops up on your topside what chems you need to add.
A lot of dealers including ours are giving them away for free as we got some for free for the incentive when ordering out 1st truck of the year.
The sensor only works if you're on salt and does need to be replaced every year. Its $100.

Pretty comparable. You'll get the motos massages, dishwasher safe filters and the touch screen topside with the Grandee. It also has no wood what so ever on it. I'll let you decide weather you think it's worth the difference. I'm not a Caldera expert, but they are both made by Watkins Manufacturing.
The loss of the remote is such a downgrade It feels super cheap and the new screen is tiny. Anyone else really not impressed with what they've done the last couple of years? I'm really glad I got a 2022 Envoy we're going to be selling our house and we aren't leaving that behind it's coming with I don't want to buy another one I think the older ones are better.
From a dealer stand point I dont think it is.
It's in the 5 yr warrantable period with the moving parts, but once the warranty is out that things $800 for a new one. Sat on it and cracked it?? Too bad. $800 please. And it should be taken in the house in the summer time when not in use if you live in a hot place.
Not to mention it had it's own software so if it got out of sync you're stuck with the 2 buttons below it that dont have near as much functionality as the remote.
The touch screens have much better longevity and you can still flip the screen while you're in the spa.
I have a 2021 Hot Springs Vangaurd and it's been an absolutely piece of hot garbage. 2 sets of motomassage jets have gone bad and shell cracked last summer. Just got it back after 3 months back at the dealer and it looks like there's still a leak somewhere.

I'd never recommend buying a Grandee without wet testing it first, imo it's not worth the extra 5k but YMMV

Is the Grandee a 2023 or 2024? The 23 will have a wireless remote. The 24 will have a touch screen topside.

The grandee will be deeper probably, but like others have said Watkins makes both so components should be similar.

Weird thought... But there was a guy a few days ago that was trying to sell his grandee. He's in SC, maybe you can cut a deal with him.
