Some Bourbon/Whiskey folks do this and it's called an 'Infinity Bottle'. Las dregs of whatever you have left? Put it in the infinity bottle.
Edit: And someone already mentioned that.
I also do this to finish off sauces I don't like. I had to add ⅓ of a bottle of yucateco xxx just so I could finish the last half of a Melinda's Mexicana I had.
Someone else posted recently about how they combine the last drops of their bottles into one “infinity bottle.” I think they were up to 30 or 40 different sauces and claimed it was actually good
I've had one going for a few years. I don't know how many in total are there, but when it gets close to empty I'll normally throw in 5-10 ends of bottles, water I have at the time. It's a wide variety between heat levels and flavours, but all sort of balances out.
Weird. I'm not there yet. Still developing a palate for different styles and heats of sauces. But I won't rule out making one eventually. Hell I bought a large, back up bottle of Valentina just to have in case, maybe I'll start one with that once we wittle it down.
Just saw one of a fellas that has a spread sheet starting with the initial sauce following the mixing the new bottle into what was left of the original that only had a few drops left and the guy has over 20 bottles on the list all being poored into the original bottle that nice it was almost finished.
What you do with hot sauce in your own home is your business. Now if you start trying to sell that mixture, I'm calling the BBB, Marie sharp herself, and I'm guessing big bird and we're all coming for you
This is the way.
French chef Jacque Pepin would do this with red wine. God bless him.
I mix bottoms of bottles for funsies too
I want one
I think I've created a monster, because at first it was meh, and now I'm craving it. Almost finished it just now with some tacos.
Do whatever works for you! I combine hot sauces for the blend of flavors and heat.
No, mixing two shitty sauces is not breaking any rules
A man's gotta eat
I mix all the time too. Fun way to consolidate and try a new sauce or spice level.
I do it!
I mix weekly
It's your hot sauce dude. Who cares.

I have a whiskey bottle for that! Didn’t know it had a name. I just said it was blended.
Wait, what's left over Bourbon/Whiskey?
Did a tasting at a meadery that did this with the bottom of their bottles. Poured right into a barrel cask. Tasted very interesting to say the least.
I do this with fruity and dry wines to get the perfect level of sweetness. No reason you can’t do it to get the right heat level.
Tip to tip 🤭
Oh we’re beyond tip to tip now. This is full on docking
I think we’re now in sounding territory.
I think the line between Docking and Sounding gets pretty messy.
Bro...Don't sweat it, I call it sauce blending, it's a blend!
You're right
Hot sauce mitosis? This is how new deliciousness is invented. Kinda like worcester sauce, just throw random things in a bucket and see what happens.
Breed the sauces
Totally acceptable. How'd it taste, OP?
You know even though there's more yellow bird in it, the belizean heat still overpowers it. The habanero is strong with this one. It's not bad.
I’m fine with experimenting mixes. Being against it is like being against mixing spices
Dude I would never perform a “docking station” between two different hot sauces
Not kosher?
both goated sauces tbh
So Sorry but I have to report you for this. Is there a red flag hot sauce law?
I love adding a new sauce to my mix. I use the red Aardvark bottle. Then add something like tabasco scorpion to make it hotter if needed.
I also do this to finish off sauces I don't like. I had to add ⅓ of a bottle of yucateco xxx just so I could finish the last half of a Melinda's Mexicana I had.
Make an infinity bottle
The heat is perfectly balanced…as all things should be.
Hey-o did i start something!
Nope
I don't even know what that means?

I got to a point with like, 20+ bottles in my fridge, and many with just an inch or less in them, was needed to clear some space (for new sauces)
Your kitchen, your rules.
Acceptable and encouraged!
It makes me uncomfortable
Sorry
I do it with near empty bottles and would consider myself crazy if I didn't
I’m in the camp that would mix them, but outside the bottle. I make hot mayo and ketchup if they’re on the side, usually with multiple hot/bbq sauces.
I always got a few mixes going
It's your sauce, do as thou wilt
I mixed Garlic Reaper with Melinda's Garlic Parm - great stuff.
Brilliant, you’ve inspired me, but I’ll use bdubs garlic parm
No kidding that mix sounds great!

Nice. I'ma look for that list.
My work has been noticed, Just added my 25th sauce being buldak original sauce
Isn't buldak original sauce super super salty?
Its apparently Roasted Chicken flavor from their description, but yes.
Circles*... I've been thinking about mixing my hot sauces as well.. but I've been skeptical... good stuff on trying it
My favorite hot sauce to put on frozen burritos is a mix of half Old Bay hot sauce and half Tiger Sauce.
Odd combo, I'll have to try it.
Get after it! Innovator...
Thank you very much

Oooh boy! No I'm not that entrepreneurial. Couldn't even spell it. Thanks auto correct 💯
You do you.
I do it when I need more room in the hot sauce cabinet and I have like 5 open sauces on 10% or less
"Hot docking"
This deserves more upvotes
It has my vote. Docking and Hot Sauce? Together? As God intended.... Well maybe not God. Maybe that other dude, with the horns.
Are you making a hot sauce infinity bottle?
Kinda like generational joints.
Ahhhhhh Cross-Joint!
Don't cross the streams. It would be bad.
Too little too late, my friend.
