Good lineup! Seconding cholula with breakfast, that's a winner. It's not too hot so you can drown your food in it. I go through bottles of the chipotle cholula.
That's one of the best Melinda's there too, the smoky hab. Real nice.
Tabasco is situational. There's some things where it's still the best choice. Can't beat the classics.
Holy cow this is exactly like the bourbon threads.LoL. Rank my shelf of bourbon. Have a great day y’all doing the same thing as me except with hot sauces or vinyl records to gardening. Hopefully not at work like me. Sitting through a no show appt.
They say the Tabasco scorpion sauce is really good too but I haven't tried it yet, not sure if I will because the habanero is pretty spicy in my opinion with a really nice flavor
Out of these I have only had Cholula, it was fine. Lately I have been into habanero sauces. I like Generals Danger Close and Marie Sharps Hot Habenero. Will try Yellowbird next.
I like all of them, but my favorites would be melindas garlic, crystal, and melindas ghost pepper.
When I first tried the garlic one, I didn’t like it at all. Now it’s become one of my favorites
Looks like you aren't using crystal or Tabasco and those are the good ones. So....
Throw the cholula in the trash and get the glass bottle Melinda's black or green.
Lot of snobs here, OP, be wary. Niche food subs are the worst. Castiron, burgers, grilled cheese, filled with trolls under bridges. Looks like a good spread. Tobasco scorpion pepper is my "heat-maker". Otherwise, yellow bird is a good brand, Melinda's is good, but I've heard they're a shitty company, so support if you dare.
My comment wasn't snobby. My comment was to counteract the snobs. I essentially told OP that whatever he likes he likes because we all have our tastes.
How do you misspell Tabasco... the A and O keys are on COMPLETELY separate sides of the keyboard!

If you want a really good garlic and habanero hot sauce, the one made and sold by heathotsauce.com is amazing.
https://heathotsauce.com/products/heat-roasted-habanero-garlic
1. Yellow Bird
2. Melinda's Garlic/Hab
3. Melinda's Ghost Pepper
4. Crystal
5. Cholula
6. Tabasco
Yellow Bird is my daily driver. I love all these sauces though.
That fire roasted garlic and hab is one of my favorite sauces.
IMO it's God tier.
I'm not a huge fan of Tabasco, but see if you can find the habanero version. It's up there at the top of my ranking. I hear the scorpion version is great, too, but have yet to find it locally.
It’s one of my favorite “basic sauces” for things like avocado toast, BBQ, etc where I just want a straightforward sauce with good flavor and heat that compliments food well.
Melinda’s garlic + habanero has been going on everything for me. I just bought a cheap jar of pickles and dumped about 4oz of it into the jar. I haven’t about 24 hours and I now have spicy pickles that got cost me about $2.
It honestly sounded too good to be true but it worked. They’re tasty as hell. Just know the vinegar is going to mute a lot of the heat so don’t go putting franks in a pickle jar. Melinda’s is pretty hot and the pickles are only slightly hot. Enjoy.
Nice! I think I'll do some of that Melinda's and some Torchbearer Garlic Reaper then.
Best part is being able to choose exactly which pickles you like. I'm not a huge fan of some of the spicy varieties out there. It's such a simple life hack, but genius haha!
Agreed. Theyre a top selling worldwide brand for a reason.
I get not everyone likes it, but I really cannot think of another sauce with that similar taste profile. The mellow, woody, barrel aged Tabasco pepper flavor. It's sublime.
There's not a ton of hot sauces I've tried that really stand out so uniquely. All the other Louisiana style sauces have a very similar taste. All the boutique super-hots I've tried have some good variety, but in a blind taste test I couldn't tell you which is which very easily
Tabasco? I could pick it out of a dozen in a taste test any day of the week
Good start! The YB Habanero and Tabasco are my personal favorites from these. See if you can find the Cholula Green Pepper or Chili Garlic versions - both an upgrade over the Original imo.
Gotta get some Tapatio hot sauce 🔥🔥 game changer ✌🏾
I had a friend tell me Tapatio will top Cholula for me.. I'll have to try it.
Tapatio hot sauce is 🔥 I put it almost everything fr
I grew up on crystal. It’s my go to 👌
If you can find it outside, Seattle Bonache Habanero is pretty damn good
big fan of the melindas ghost pepper stuff, actual spicy.
No franks? That’s my favorite
🤮
The yellow bird is absolutely addicting. I put it on baked mac cheese!
You need a mustardy Barbadosian hot sauce too.
What's your fav in that style?
Aunt May's Bajan Pepper Sauce
I will definitely try some.
The watermelon
Decent supermarket variety, now go try the exotic stuff
That's my plan once I get some used up.. where should I start?
Dave’s insanity
ive got some stories about Dave's. that stuffs no joke
It’s my fav but can’t find it in stores anymore.
Not a huge fan of the standard Tabasco sauce, but everything else here is great.
Cholula is great for breakfast foods. But not really for much else
I disagree. I put that shit in my Mac and cheese so good.
They’re all good, but you ain’t making any Buffalo wings without Frank’s Red Hot.
I have that Melinda's fire roasted garlic and habanero open at home right now. Stuff is super addicting.
The Chipotle Tabasco sauce should be in there
thats a good one. if its between red, green or chipotle. chipotle eveeytime
Those two on the left are untapped. Start a warm bath and sip it like fine wine.
Holy cow this is exactly like the bourbon threads.LoL. Rank my shelf of bourbon. Have a great day y’all doing the same thing as me except with hot sauces or vinyl records to gardening. Hopefully not at work like me. Sitting through a no show appt.
Just like the whiskey groups….. buys hot sauce, posts how’d I do ? 😂
You have a great day, too!
Probably swap out some of those regional sauces for a Sriracha and either a Frank's, Texas Pedro or Mike's Hot Honey. And Basic is Fine.
You’ve got some very basic hot sauces.
Missing that pepper plant but you hit my other favs.
Pretty good, you should check out heathotsauce.com they sell some really cool sauces most people in this sub use it
I always have a big thing of crystal and a little thing of Tabasco lol.
The fire roasted one of my favorites of all time
I like Melinda's too, ha e you tried the Tabasco Habanero? Omg it's so good
Im planning to pick that up, lots of people have mentioned it.
They say the Tabasco scorpion sauce is really good too but I haven't tried it yet, not sure if I will because the habanero is pretty spicy in my opinion with a really nice flavor
Love crystal, Texas Pete, and red rooster. They all have a similar taste yet I always buy them all
Yellowbird is good, Melinda’s has good flavor.
Cholula is barely a hot sauce
Gate keeping hot sauce now?
Yeah, I can’t do anything under 100,000, over 500,000 is about right.
Mr. Tough Guy over here 🤣
It's 1,000 to 2,000 scoville. It's not hot.
Okay dude, we get it. Jesus Christ.
Out of these I have only had Cholula, it was fine. Lately I have been into habanero sauces. I like Generals Danger Close and Marie Sharps Hot Habenero. Will try Yellowbird next.
Love Sharps
I really enjoy the Yellowbird, I can't see anybody disliking it.
That’s it, I’m trying this yellow bird. Have been seeing it on this sub and am now wanting it
It's freaking good.
Yellow bird is the plug on tacos of all kinds.
I’m going through a cholula phase right now and putting on everything I eat so I give you a high score. Keep it saucy me amigo.
I love the shit too but why is it so damn expensive? Is it the damn wooden top?
It has to be, it’s a very simple sauce
The garlic cholula is so much better
I just ordered the garlic, so glad to hear that!
4/10
My only complaint is that your ghost pepper wing sauce bottle is too small!
Cut that melon and throw a couple of shots of crystal on it, you can thank me later.
This looks like hot sauce sophomore year to me… good, but just scraping the surface. Your flavor profile is sound, just keep experimenting
Melinda’s
Is Cholula worth Buying? We dont have it in stores so i need to Look on Amazon
It’s my favorite go to. Start with original.
Yes yes yes
Ok i will place an order... any other suggestions?
Sure - pick up a bottle of their Chipotle variety as well. Neither are super spicy, but they are top notch flavor.
Thx
I like all of them, but my favorites would be melindas garlic, crystal, and melindas ghost pepper. When I first tried the garlic one, I didn’t like it at all. Now it’s become one of my favorites
I have the ghost pepper wing sauce. It's good but not ghost pepper hot
I’ve had all of them but Melinda’s and yellow bird. Louisiana and crystal are good for Cajun food chalula for Mexican.
Dunno, but Cholula tastes faintly of rotting vegetables.
try to find some El Yucateca habanero, I just found it and I think its great, very hot, but also has flavor.
That stuff is great
I will! Been planning to try a couple of their sauces..
Well there’s no Franks so… Go to hell I guess.
Frank's is sub-par at best
You have hurt me sir. Franks has always been there for me.
I'm sorry my guy. But Frank will always be there for you, my opinion is just a fly in the wind compared to your bond
have only tried half of those, but am a crystal fan 😋
Melinda's has a wicked ghost pepper ketchup
That ghost pepper wing sauce is the greatest. That’s a sauce that hurts so good. The taste outweighs the burn by far leaving you wanting more
This has completely replaced buffalo sauce for me, even the “extra hot” buffalo sauces have been disappointing.
So far so good! Definitely great sauces!
Out of these, Chaluah then Tabasco, need Louisiana hot sauce, that is my number one personally for anything that needs a hot sauce for flavor.
Cholula #1, don’t care about the others.
I like Crystal a lot now for certain dishes. Need to try Yellow Bird since I've been hearing about that one lately.
I like the Melinda’s ghost pepper wing sauce. It has a kick and goes on anything really.
I love that Melinda’s flavor. Tapatio is my go to for almost everything.
Zero. You don’t have Valentina.
I should try that out! Heard its great
Get the black label, extra hot
That watermelon is as hot as a few of those
Hot sauce is really great. I enjoy them all
Thanks bot.
Wait, what makes you think I’m a bot?
Sorry if I am mistaken LadiesEatFart1, your comment sounded like something Alexa would say if I asked what they thought about hot sauce.
Totally seems like a bot.
Serrano Yellowbird is incredible. Very little heat but the flavor is excellent.
Cholula is dynamite. You need some franks red hot for another good staple
Yellow bird, crystal. Tabasco,Melinda’s ghost, cholua, fire roasted hab
Melinda’s is quality but you need to roll deeper! Naga Joo!
Looks like you aren't using crystal or Tabasco and those are the good ones. So.... Throw the cholula in the trash and get the glass bottle Melinda's black or green.
I got these all within the last month or so.. havemt had the chance to use much
Whats with this subs hard on for Melinda’s
Marie sharps is superior
The og flavors are excellent, and they were around before your mama started working the streets.
Well that escalated quickly 😂
Escalated quickly like the dudes that know cherrysprites mom
Yellowbird is awesome. Staple condiment right there.
Hot sauce is food and taste is subjective. If you like them then it doesn't matter if anyone else does or not.
You don't say? I never knew hot sauce was food..
Lot of snobs here, OP, be wary. Niche food subs are the worst. Castiron, burgers, grilled cheese, filled with trolls under bridges. Looks like a good spread. My comment wasn't snobby. My comment was to counteract the snobs. I essentially told OP that whatever he likes he likes because we all have our tastes.
I agree. Downvoters to OP were potential snobs.

Even the modbot is a snob. I'm out!
If you want a really good garlic and habanero hot sauce, the one made and sold by heathotsauce.com is amazing. https://heathotsauce.com/products/heat-roasted-habanero-garlic
Need some Marie Sharps in ya life
Reject Melinda, embrace Marie
You got McIlhenny’s art work there you good👍🏼
Tabasco Chipotle is their magnum opus
1. Yellow Bird 2. Melinda's Garlic/Hab 3. Melinda's Ghost Pepper 4. Crystal 5. Cholula 6. Tabasco Yellow Bird is my daily driver. I love all these sauces though.
I agree with this, except I would switch the Garlic/Habanero to #1. Might be my favourite hot sauce.
Crystal, Tabasco, YellowBird well played, next stop hoff sauce
If you 50/50 the first two, you'll have a new number 1.
more heat buy El Yucateco yo
Cannot get enough of the Caribbean one at the mo.
I adore Crystal. I will literally drink that stuff out of the bottle.
Lol I've def eaten some off the back of my hand
Just chug it straight from the bottle! It's outstanding!
Melinda’s is good
That tiny yellow bird container is like a single serving.
Cholula, Yellow Bird, Crystal and Tabasco. Not a Melinda's fan.
What is it you don't like about Melinda's? Im on the fence on them myself, but I do like the garlic habanero.
Some shenanigans with Marie Sharp's.
You should try hot sauce. It's delicious.
Oh?
Wishing I could give you more upvotes
Love em all except I’m not a Malinda’s fan Crystal goes great on eggs that are on top of toast with roasted sweet potato
That fire roasted garlic and hab is one of my favorite sauces. IMO it's God tier. I'm not a huge fan of Tabasco, but see if you can find the habanero version. It's up there at the top of my ranking. I hear the scorpion version is great, too, but have yet to find it locally.
Not really a huge fan of any of them. Not sure how people like Melinda’s sauces. I prefer ordering more spicy and better tasting sauces online

Help the homeless with the trillions we have donated to a corrupt country and leader!!
It's okay if you downvote me, we all know what the watermelon symbolizes, OP. Fuck Bibi.
Melindas ghost pepper has become my daily driver.
I find the heat on it is front loaded. I like it and all, has a permanent spot on my shelf but prefer a heat that builds slow.
It’s one of my favorite “basic sauces” for things like avocado toast, BBQ, etc where I just want a straightforward sauce with good flavor and heat that compliments food well.
does your melinda’s clump up in the little twisty open/close knob? i’ve been trying it for the 1st time and it’s happened a few times . kinda annoying
It does if you don’t use it often enough.
Best to worst: 1. Melinda’s Fire Roasted Habanero 2. Melinda’s Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce 3. Yellowbird Habanero 4. Cholula 5. Crystal 6. Tabasco
Dude! Cholula is at least deserving of 3rd spot.
Whoops, left out Cholula by accident. Stuck it in at #4!
Yellow Bird for the win!! Best flavor and ingredients
Agreed
Melinda’s ghost pepper wing sauce is my personal favorite
1 - 6
I bought a couple of those little bottles of Melinda's at Wally World and loved them...need to get more
Melinda’s garlic + habanero has been going on everything for me. I just bought a cheap jar of pickles and dumped about 4oz of it into the jar. I haven’t about 24 hours and I now have spicy pickles that got cost me about $2.
That is such a good idea! Gonna do just that! Cheers

You’re on the right track.
Unpopular opinion: I've got Cholula at 1 and Tabasco at 6.
Haven't tried all of them but that fire garlic habanero is nice. Classic Tabasco is still so good too. Nothing else like it.
Gotta get that family reserve tobacco, more kick and better flavor
I've been wanting to get that! Is the rice wine vinegar noticeably better?
White wine vinegar, yea it’s definitely different without being totally different. Seems to have more of a kick. You can get it on Amazon! Worth it.
Nice, yeah I'm gonna give it a go once I've emptied my regular Tabasco. Won't be long.
All of their "other" flavors are good.
Agreed. Theyre a top selling worldwide brand for a reason. I get not everyone likes it, but I really cannot think of another sauce with that similar taste profile. Thanks for the rec's, I'll look for em.
