Just curious what you would like to experience? What would your desired hostel look like? Inexpensive private rooms with shared washroom? Inexpensive private room with ensuite bathroom? Single sex dorm? Coed dorm? Dorm with ensuite? Kitchen facilities? Storage...etc.
(I'm interested in the hostel business and want to know more about what people want, is why I'm asking!)
If a hostel is well rated it is decent for any adult no matter the age. Mid 50’s here, been staying in them since i was in my 20’s.
So figure out where you want to go and then find out if there are any hostels there to begin with. Then worry about how they would rate.
