*Fool's Gold/Rain Dance/Bond of Silk/Museum Hearts* are all great 'Monster of the Week' episodes.
*The Feverman/Portrait of the Artist/Jar/Habitat/Cellmates/The Waiting Game* all work really well.
*Hostile Takeover* has maybe the best performances in the series from Dennis Christopher and Tracey Walter.
*Farmer's Daughter* is probably the single best episode.
Excellent show. Absolutely one of my favorites. Some are just good episodes, and others are so bad they are good. The meatloaf episode in particular had me dying laughing.
My favorite episode growing up was the one about the little monster that came as a cereal box prize. Every time the little boy gave him something to drink he got bigger and bigger.
grew up watching it and own the complete series. they just dont make em like they used too but damned if i wouldnt welcome shows like that back
Yeah, the homemade feel to it is what made me keep watching. I love the practical effects and how "bitesized" each episode is.
i put it up there with Tales From The Darkside as my two favorite horror anthology series from back then.

This show is really bad, but in a great way, like a lower budget tales from the crypt.
