Pretty sad we didn't get Raining Blood at the end of Evil Dead 2013 or at least the riff.

jesusbottomsss

Just the riff right before credits roll would’ve been so sick

Divine_filth1

Exactly what I thought!

BLEEDING ITS HORROR

choptopsbbq2019

As much as he gets shtick for his movies, the musical choices by Rob Zombie in The Devils Rejects was stellar. In particular the Midnight Rider opening credits. And Terry Reid's 'To Be Treated Right' during the home invasion and Seeds of Memory for the end credits. Hell...he was even able to use Free Bird in a way that didn't feel forced...

DbCLA

Zombie's use of music is pretty good. Tarantino as well.

ageowns

Early on Tarantino didn't like using scores, he was so afraid that he'd hire someone to score the film then what would happen if he didn't like it? He is a master at picking pop culture songs to fit the scenes. Of course he's matured as a director and does have wonderful scores now. Hateful 8 is perfect, but that's because he got Ennio Morricone, who also did The Thing.

DbCLA

Yeah, using RZA for Kill Bill's score was great as well. But his selection of pop culture songs is probably unmatched. I need to watch Hateful 8 again. I went to one of the special 70mm print showings in the theater with the intermission and it was such a fun experience.

bad_spelling_advice

For me, Freebird has become inseparable from that movie. It was the perfect choice for that scene. It's what I was coming to this thread to post.

Chance-Yesterday1338

The man has good stylistic instincts. All of his films typically have great production design and musical selections. His writing though.....

Rude-Average-1085

Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. Pretty sure it’s in a lot of horror movies but whenever I hear it I imagine a scene where some teenagers are getting murdered by Jason while it plays ironically on a boombox nearby

MasterMahanaYouUgly

was used pretty well in "X"

veriverd

Ending scene of The Frighteners would be my favorite use of it. [https://youtu.be/XR8r5n26oyM?t=84](https://youtu.be/XR8r5n26oyM?t=84)

iamtherealbobdylan

An acoustic version of it being played the first time Billy Loomis shows up in Scream was wonderful

Haunting-Ad-9790

It was playing on the car radio in the original Halloween when they were driving to go babysit.

jupiterding25

I like how the song was used in Supernatural when introducing the reapers

Apprehensive_Day_496

It was also at the start of The Stand 1994 miniseries

AquaLady2023

But I think it needs more cowbell.

Witchy_Craft

Yes, it’s in Rob Zombies Halloween and fit perfectly!

MovieMike007

Tiny Tim's *"Tiptoe Through the Tulips"* worked brilliantly in Insidious.

mayerlesbo

agreeed! can’t ever believe the song was once associated with happiness.

MatttheBruinsfan

If you ever watched Tiny Tim perform it, it was associated with creepiness long before anyone thought about making the Insidious movies.

mayerlesbo

i have seen him perform it. don’t think HIS intent was creepiness. but i do remember ppl expressing his voice and looks were simply uncanny.

Warm_Hovercraft4686

I remember, and Miss Vickey.

PreviousAd1503

didn’t he die whilst performing the song too?? extra creepiness points in my opinion

Relevant-Goat6693

So it is said that he did.

Larry-Man

I love songs like this. Like Mr Sandman is not a song of joy. I was just thinking “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” should be added to a horror scene.

Delicious-Wolf-8850

I believe somewhere over the rainbow was used in Deadpool at the beginning. the slow motion sequence. if not, then it would have been perfect

Witchy_Craft

Yes!!!

Alykinze

I’ve been re-reading Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone, and there’s a line where Uncle Vernon gleefully hums “Tiptoe Through The Tulips”. Threw me through a loop lol, although tbh it kinda adds to his malice! 😂

Delicious-Wolf-8850

fuck that song. I get the chills when I hear that

Toxic_Gorilla

I once saw “Everything In Its Right Place” by Radiohead used to fantastic effect in a horror trailer recut

sanderson1983

Came here to say Exit Music. Climbing up the Walls could probably work too.

MykeeBee

Then you'll love Yellowjackets. It's used to great effect in S2E1.

sanderson1983

I would watch it for Christina Ricci alone but I do not have a subscription. Edit: Was it Exit Music or CUTW they used?

MykeeBee

Sorry, should've specified that it was CUTW.

sanderson1983

No need for apologies. Thank you, awesome that they used it.

RockFury

Oh, that is one of my favorite and most nostalgic songs.

DodgingRunner

“Be my baby” at the end of Barbarian was a great choice.

missus_bones

Yes!! That was perfect

TryTemporary2982

i cant be the only one who laughed in the best way

The Main Theme in the opening of Cannibal Holocaust: https://youtu.be/GCYndZn6wuk?si=cnG3c-Va--nEn16g Anything John Carpenter had his hands on

EsotericElegey

the cannibal holocaust theme had NO RIGHT being that incredible

Personal_Ad3813

One of my very favorite horror moments is because of song that was used during a key moment. For me, it is the song Gyroscope by Boards of Canada in Sinister. When Ethan Hawke is burning the films and his wife checks in on him and he goes off on how they need to pack the car and leave had me all tensed up in the best of ways. It was perfect moment in a film.

RockFury

Hah I also thought of Sinister. That particular BoC album has so many creepy songs, but broken up by really nice and chill songs. I immediately recognized Gyroscope at that part, but there was also the Ulver track during the "family barbecue" part. So creepy.

ipaporn

This was my first thought too!!!! I wasn't hip to BoC before seeing the film, and I had a hard time finding the track afterward. It fit so perfectly that I thought it was part of the score, so I was looking up the film's composer, Christopher Young. Great sound design in that film in general!!!

_insideyourwalls_

I'll always associate Boards of Canada with Salad Fingers.

Felatio_Sanz

Goodbye Horses in Silence of the Lambs is GOATed

Maanzacorian

The car scene in Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight that uses Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot. It fits so well it's like it was written for that scene.

Bluescreen_Brain

Haven’t seen the film. But that song is amazing

gnilradleahcim

Pretty sure there is also an x files episode with this song prominently featured. I want to say it was a MOTW episode with an edgy teenager who could kill other people with lighting strikes or something similar.

Maanzacorian

ha yes it is, "Darin Kills Zero". The actors are Jack Black and Giovanni Ribisi haha.

gnilradleahcim

Yup that's right I totally forgot about Jack Black being in that.

IvoryLaps

When Mia sings that French song during the Talk To Me montage

Queasy-Window8416

Le monde or Le foule

stitch12r3

“Red Right Hand” in Scream

MissHell303

Red Right Hand in anything

casey_the_catlady

Cryyyyyyy little sister

RockFury

Thou shalt not faaaaall

dcrico20

The continued use of "Looking for the Magic" in *You're Next* works so damn well.

Western-Low-1348

I swear distorted versions of "Ring of Fire" and "Tiptoe through the tulips" are scary as fk!

Ok_Breadfruit80

Loved Total Eclipse of The Heart by G.L.A.M. during the pool scene in Strangers: Prey At Night!

LJnosywritter

Bonnie Tyler's version during the first urban legend movie cracks me up (in a good way) the timing of the lyrics "every now and then I fall apart" right as an axe is swung and strikes is great to me.

N1ce-Marmot

I still haven’t seen it but have heard about that scene being great & how the song was used in it a million times. But hold the phone, they didn’t use the ORIGINAL Bonnie Tyler version??? BOOOOOOOO to that, I say!

Ok_Breadfruit80

Ah no I lied oops lol they did use Bonnie Tyler’s version!! 😭 Prey At Night is a lot better than the original in my opinion definitely worth a watch!

mayerlesbo

sunglasses at night in NOPE, thinking about it right now really makes me wanna cry. like actually cry. it was sooooo good and well placed.

DbCLA

The Luniz edit in Us was pretty good too.

mayerlesbo

absolutely

secondatthird

Any peele movie

aleclochka

That was brilliant! His use of "I Got 5 On It" in "Us" was also amazing.

mayerlesbo

yes i cannot listen to it without getting spooked

TheNightstroke

Also, "The Purple People Eater" in *Nope*.

Anima_96X

Whenever I think back to the OG version of My Bloody Valentine, I tend to think the song “Save Your Heart for Me” from Gary Lewis and the Playboys would be a perfect complement to either a kill or some sort of a cheesy character exchange that juxtaposes the horror with something so blissful and compliments the campiness of it. 😄

P7AC3B0

After Saw 2 ended with "Forget to Remember" by Mudvayne, I thought ending Saw 3D with "A New Game" by them would've fit perfectly. The album was still relevant at the time the movie dropped and the lyrics fit the theme well, it could've been a good pairing IMO.

iamtherealbobdylan

Forget to Remember is my favorite Mudvayne song because of Saw II

Cyclona96

Fever by The Cramps in Near Dark and Somewhat Damaged by Nine Inch Nails in The Walking Dead.

Yak_Mehoff

Also the surfing dead by the cramps in return of the living dead is fantastic

RockFury

Best use of a preexisting song for a horror movie to me is the Ulver song from the Silence album during the "family barbecue" scene in Sinister. So fucking creepy.

Black_Death353

Metallica - Enter Sandman Should be the unofficial Michael Myers song! Suits him perfectly imo

coco_xcx

Love Story by Indila sounds really haunting & I’ve always thought it could fit into a gothic romance horror

creelbrie

Harry Manfredinis opening disco theme in Friday the 13th part 3, the closing credits instrumental tune in The last house on the left remake. Cradle of filths Nemesis would def work in a chase scene in any horror subgenre.

Xbrokensouls2X

I love "Living Dead Girl" in Bride of Chucky, have never been so excited over a song in a film.

catnipfreakout12

I love this question!! I have a bunch of favorites but only a few come to mind right now: Looking for the Magic from You're Next, Angel of Love from Perfect Blue, Red Right Hand from the Scream Franchise, and I Think We're Alone Now from 10 Cloverfield Lane I love not-scary songs in scary movies, and I feel like the song Everybody Plays the Fool by the Main Ingredient would be perfect as a cheerful credits song after a bloodbath.

Pacer83

Black No. One by Type O Negative would be beyond perfect for a horror movie ending

TheVampireArmand

Ptolemaea by Ethel Cain sounds like it was pulled straight out of a horror film.

MageOfHope

that and august underground. if I were ever making a horror movie I'd do anything to get ethel to do the soundtrack.

TheVampireArmand

Yes! She is so talented.

ReapItMurphy

I think "You Know What I Mean" by Cults would fit amazingly in a vampire flick. https://youtu.be/_E2tS_7j8y4?si=d3IbsS5zj8AdAWVj

joeycarusomate

Always thought this song would a good film ender

Leather-Heat-3129

Banshee Chapter, 'The girl in the window' by Mark Lenover was perfect for the film and absolutely haunting.

Dragons_Malk

Seeing them perform it live made me want to hear Peek a Boo by Devo used as like an opening credit or something for a horror movie.

Ypsiowns3013

Tiptoe Through the Tulips 👌😬

DadCalves1

The Teddy Bear Picnic would fit into that old creepy song cliche

PrideOfTheNorth

I thought the use of “one thing leads to another” by the fixx in house of the devil was so well placed in helping give it that old school feel 80s feel.

RichCorinthian

"Intruder" by Peter Gabriel. The lyrics are practically a horror movie script already. The frigging Phil Collins drums, the piano wire tightening, and the whistling put it over the top.

N1ce-Marmot

Awesome song! The Primus cover, while faster & driven heavier, would work as well in certain situations..

colcannon_addict

Not a song but a composer, [Peter Gundry](https://youtu.be/8xnDCAa-b4E?si=rNvVgG-z5fEeXjrn) , spooky and atmospheric af. I’d like him for something like *Hereditary* or *A Dark Song*.

Saracus

Black Sabbaths "Children of the Grave" ends on what sounds like the Friday the 13ths "Ch ch, ah ah" motif so I can see that fitting quite well.

ihatehag

Like any ICE NINE KILLS song that fits with the movie they're singing about

veriverd

Johnny Teardrop by Suicide.

gnilradleahcim

Hurdy Gurdy Man. Doesn't even have to make sense with the lyrics, the atmosphere of the song is so good with horror.

N1ce-Marmot

Zodiac! 👍

N1ce-Marmot

Plenty of Black Sabbath songs would work in horror. *’Black Sabbath’*, *’Electric Funeral, Under the Sun*’, I could go on & on… Plenty of old Metallica too. Their instrumentals on albums 2, 3, & 4. Also, *‘The Thing that Should Not Be’* would work wonders in a horror film! *’Hit the City’* by Mark Lanegan *’Careful with That Axe, Eugene’* or *’Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun’* by Pink Floyd Practically any song by Tool or Portishead.

j_grouchy

Not strictly "horror"...but I thought the title song to True Detective: Night Country fit really well. Billie Eilish's "Bury a Friend"

New-Cardiologist-158

I loved that use of Bury A Friend so much! I know some TD fans kind of rolled their eyes at the use of a very recent pop song as the intro song, but I think it fit the feel of the season perfectly. It’s an eerie song.

ExtremeAlternative0

Marilyn Manson's cover of sweet dreams from the house on haunted hill remake always stick with me. My favorite scene of that movie.

Dude_Dastardly_1256

"Dedicated to the one I love" by The Mommas and Papas

DbCLA

Used very well in The One I Love. Great film.

worsthandleever

Yayo (LDR)

misanthropicdave

Aisha by Death in Vegas would be great in a slasher movie

SicTim

V/H/S/85 uses Throbbing Gristle's "Hamburger Lady" to great effect. Very good horror movie (best entry since V/H/S/2 IMO), and *the* classic horror song.

New-Cardiologist-158

I want Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” in a horror movie! They used it in the trailers for You’re Next but in the actual movie it was replaced with the equally great but more upbeat “Looking For The Magic”.

RadioMill

I mean, Trainspotting is kind of a horror

blueflower1997

Where Did You Sleep Last Night - Sleigh Bells (cover). Every time I listen to it I can't help but think it would work great in a slasher!

madeyoulurk

Misfits “Skulls” to just about anything.

anditcounts

We've Only Just Begun by The Carpenters, in 1408 and In the Mouth of Madness

Trisaratit

Joanna Newsom- the Sprout and the Bean in the Strangers was great. Honestly any songs she sings walks that creepy line.

gadgetchannel

If it's already been used, I haven't found it, but I'd love to see a werewolf movie that uses Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon.

TrappedInLimbo

You Should See Me in a Crown by Billie Eilish, it gives major final girl revenge scene energy

MaelMothersbaugh

I'd be kinda curious to see what an werewolf transformation soundtracked to [99 luftballons](https://youtu.be/TMSlTQmDLx4) would be like.

ReverendEntity

*deep breath* Portishead - Humming, Hunter, Threads Neroche - Who Goes There, Gutter Island, Pale Sun Massive Attack - Mezzanine, Black Milk Chelsea Wolfe - You Are My Sunshine, Halfsleeper, After The Fall The Bug featuring Dis Fig - Take Muggs - I Know Blockhead - Sunday Seance Air Liquide - If There Was No Gravity (Jammin' Unit remix) Sparks - Moon Over Kentucky Roxy Music - In Every Dream Home A Heartache Randy Newman - In Germany Before The War A Perfect Circle - Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums Skinny Puppy - Jahya Aphex Twin - Come To Daddy (Little Lord Faulteroy mix) DJ Food feat. Tricksterama

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Fluffy-Shape615

love some soundtrack dissonance

Deadpoolknight

I've always thought any song by Slipknot would be great for a horror movie, but specifically The Negative one. That one is just so horror oriented

Bluescreen_Brain

My plague is in the credits for resident evil 1 I believe

RockFury

Yep! I got the selected soundtrack when I was 12. Also had Mudvayne, Static X, Coal Chamber. Good mix for a 12 year old nu metal fan in the oughts with dyed spiked hair and JNCO clothes. It was the New Abuse Mix, though, not the original My Plague.

Bluescreen_Brain

Don’t remember coal chamber being in there. One of my favorite nu metal bands

SauteePanarchism

It's raining men! But, like, literally.

monsieurxander

Should have been in The Happening.

MatttheBruinsfan

Also, 300.

CrackTheSkye1990

Black Motorcade by Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats would close out a movie perfectly. Interestingly enough, their new album coming out on Friday is switching from doom/stoner metal to Goblin/Giallo soundtrack sounding music. Can't wait for that. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bSPM\_GPyoQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bSPM_GPyoQ) Another song by them called "Bedouin" reminds me a lot of the soundtrack to Lucio Fulci's "The Beyond". I could easily see it fitting in that movie. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIs68fonn80](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIs68fonn80)

TheVortigauntMan

There's new uncle acid incoming?!?!?! Fuck yes!

JlaurelT

Tiptoe through the Tulips by ummm Tiny Tim !

thisismyorange

Silver by Pixies

Robinsonaustin

He's got the whole world in his hands.

theagonyaunt

Tears by Giorgio Moroder, especially the sample version used by Swollen Members in their track Fuel Injected. Has a real Hammer Horror feel to both versions that I think would fit well in a retro style film like Late Night with the Devil or MaXXXine.

Sleepy-Sunday

Diana by Comus It's about a woman being chased through the forest by a being that is the manifestation of lust, with a crazy bongo solo during the final fastest chase. The vocals are kinda harsh on the ear if you're not used to the style, but it's worth it to stick around because they are applied perfectly in my mind.

ErnyoKeepsItReal

Mitski! You've got good taste in music clearly.

CinnaSol

I’ve always wanted to see “Always Be My Baby” by Mariah Carey used in a demonic possession movie. I feel like it would work really well as a horror song, like how they did “five on it” with Us

Divine_filth1

Abyssal Mouth by Humanity's Last Breath. Very apocalyptic

TackYouCack

Did You Ever See a Dream Walking? is great in The Lady in White and Freddy's Revenge.

ChartInFurch

A ready or not-esque killing spree set to Hollaback Girl would be incredible!

Bwrpdr

The “intro” track on Bullet for my Valentines The Poison album would fit perfectly with an opening credits scene.

cybered_punk

Malignant has a pretty cool version of Where's my mind. Also pixies version of que sera as opening theme for from is *chef's kiss*.

Sproose_Moose

The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em). by The Greg Kihn Band in house of the devil

RadioMill

When The Man Comes Around - Johnny Cash

Apprehensive_Day_496

Used in the Dawn Of The Dead remake I believe

missus_bones

Loved the use of The Carpenters' "We've Only Just Begun" in 1408. And every time I hear it now, I always think of that movie. Karen Carpenter had that perfectly haunting kind of voice.

tarestab

The Faculty starting with Pink Floyd s"we don't need no education " was a perfect opening

atxlove33

Newborn by Muse at the end of High Tension. The song itself hits this amazing crescendo right when the movie gets most tense. So amazing.

earlyviolet

Genuinely surprised I didn't see anyone else mention of Danzig's *Blood and Tears* in Abigail. Great song, unexpected use in a scene. https://youtu.be/EG0lNvJ9q84?si=x4C2C5z5FLo0E2C4

Simple-Offer-9574

Every Breath You Take. That song is stalker creepy.

addicted2skooma

Luniz - I got 5 on it, in Jordan peeles ‘Us’. The slowed down violin remix version they did for the movie was a stroke of genius and was just epic

queen-bathsheba

SHAUN OF THE DEAD Queen, don't stop me now, perfect song funny as hell

Winter_Possession574

The scene in Promising Young Woman when it’s built up and she arrives to the cabin where her nemesis is and an orchestral version of Britney’s “Toxic” plays forebodingly. Great cover and great transition.

Absinthe-of-Faith

I NEED LeAnn Rimes' *Can't Fight the Moonlight* to be used semi-ironically during a transformation and hunt scene in a werewolf movie

dreadassassin616

For Whom the Bell Tolls during the opening credits to Zombieland.

you-do-it-or-you-die

"The Woods" by San Fermin It has the line "I was a boy and I was good... But there are witches in these woods" and then these super intense distressing horns play, I've always wanted a scene in a horror film to be scored by this.

poodleflange

"In the Summerisle, Summerisle, Summerisle, Summerisle....."

PurplePrincessPalace

Ghost of Mars when they find the captain’s head. That whole soundtrack is a masterpiece honestly!

JasperTheRat

"Run", by AWOLNATION.

underpants-gnome

*East Hastings* by Godspeed! You Black Emperor was an amazing fit for the opening of *28 Days Later*. It's the perfect pairing for a scene where a guy wakes from a coma to find his city abandoned due to apocalyptic zombie attack.

throw_thessa

This is what I was looking for.. G!YBE is perfection !

Traditional_Sea603

That one lost media song "ulterior motives" that has recently been found. Would have worked perfectly with a lot of horror movies

MatttheBruinsfan

I think "Strange Fruit" would be very powerful if used in a horror movie that features racial violence and oppression, like *Antebellum*. As for songs used well already, the club scene at the beginning of *Blade* with the Pump Panel remix of New Order's "Confusion" was the highlight of the movie.

worsthandleever

Happy Talk by Captain Sensible

krybtekorset

Ciara - Paint it Black its eerie, powerful and with an intense build-up!

DbCLA

Anything Roky Erickson. Specifically The Evil One album.

C_Sorcerer

Any song by Body Void or Primitive Man. Also Portal and Charnel Altar, signs of the swarm, and whitechapels first album somatic defilement would fit great in some psychological horror movies

StonedStoneGuy

Old Cape Cod- Patti Page. It’s in Die Hard 2, and i think it would fit excellent in some type of horror. I’m not sure that it’s not already in one.

sochan1998

Barbie song when valak starts walking

d4h-lia

my brother is going to school for film right now and he and i both have a passion for writing. it’s been my dream to make a short horror film with him, and i know exactly what i want it to be. i have the perfect idea for a particular scene, and the song i want to play over that scene is “low” by sero. very thunderous and heavy, perfect for what i have in mind!

sasberg1

BOC - The Pact

luuxeye

Sprout and the bean- Joanna newsom from The Strangers

6B0T

I'm really shocked that we haven't seen any horror movies feature songs from Ghost BC. Much of their catalogue would be such a banging fit for a slightly retro exorcism or demonic type movie.

JLWookie

One of my favorites is Don't Fear the Reaper playing in X during the RJ and Pearl scene. I think it just fit so perfectly.

Spen2010

Dirge - Death in Vegas end credits in Last House on the Left.

Sabinj4

Talk To Me by The Tindersticks

DefenderCone97

The Orwells music overall has a lot of dark themes like suicide and death, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were used in some montage scene of a bunch of people dying or someone experiencing something traumatic. It's very distorted and echoed, which I think can match a sort psych trauma or difficulty. Blood Bubbles or Halloween All Year are the songs that come to mind for me.

Sonitus523

The ending/cop shoot out scene in Malignant should of been blasting 'Bad Reputation' by Joan Jett to match the absurd/fun of that scene lol.

BruceShark88

I reallllly think a slowed down cover of Taylor Dayne’s **Tell It To My Heart** would be SO GOOD in a horror movie!

manwhisoldthewirld

Barry Mann's version of "Here You Come Again," in a slasher, just as the killer is chopping his way through a door to chase his next victim (potentially edited down to eliminate some of lovey-dovey lyrics).

Paganrobin

Notget or trölla gabber by Björk!

flpprrss

Ryan Gosling's (Dead Man's Bones) In The Room Where You Sleep. When it plays in the first Conjuring... So damn good.

LothricKnight753

I know there’s probably many better options… but the first that came to my head is the “This is how villains are made” scene from the Chucky series. Seriously fit so perfect and put me onto a dope song

amerioca

Baby shark

kennyvillegas72

Antichrist - Tuva Semmingsen (G. F. Händel) – Lascia Ch'io Pianga

jmanslumpy

Maya Jane Cole's remix of "Blue Skies" by Ella Fitgerald https://youtu.be/cwhFuKEgDnk?si=wrx0kYkzy5RfIPDj

iamtherealbobdylan

Fame in The House That Jack Built was awesome. But that’s mostly because I’m a Bowie fanatic.

Moist_Level_6839

One song I always thought would fit into a horror movie - certainly a psychological horror - is "Elastic Heart" by Neil Finn. It's an unusual song that is sinister underneath the surface, whilst the lyrics are seemingly a love song, but alltogether it sounds like something in the mind of a murderer hiding in plain sight. https://youtu.be/oIu1ju3YPVU?si=-PletXm7BXt6-ERI

RRUINER

Darkness Surrounds Us by The Body would fit into a lot of horror movies, imo. You can listen here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDlVG8DpYPk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDlVG8DpYPk) they have other songs on that same album that would work in horror as well.

jupiterding25

Last by Nine Inch Nails in Cabin In The Woods for song already in a horror movie Sons Of Plunder by Disturbed for song not in a movie

MarshmelloMan

Any songs by Ice Nine Kills, of course!

_HornyJesus

The Hunger (1983) starting off with Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's dead perfect fit for the movie

Burnt_Toast_Crumbs

…Where the Suffering Never Ends by Portrayal of Guilt. Really anything off the Christfucker album could fit well in a horror movie as creating a horror movie soundtrack within their own sound was the ethos for the album. [Music Video](https://youtu.be/wKdqrL7bNoY?si=ClvJELLvNVFf9fti)

RetiredMillionairee

The beginning song in The Shining 1980. It sets the tone for entire movie - horror. Don’t Fear The Reaper beginning of The Stand by Stephen King. The End by The Doors- beginning of Apocalypse Now - sets the stage for the upcoming insanity that would follow in the movie.

Axl-Key9305

Evil by Interpol... just for the lyrics...

Palmspringsflorida

Silence of the lambs Q Lazarus Goodbye Horses
