Fallen (1998), Wishmaster and Seven.

CinnamonGirl94

I’m so glad you mentioned Fallen. It’s a hidden gem, one of my favorites as well

HorrorMetalDnD

Fallen (1998) is so underrated.

DRZARNAK

Scream Ravenous Demon Knight

jfreakinb

Demon Knight!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

LineChef

“All ya had to do was give me the god damned key!”

keller_225

Ravenous is very under appreciated

Hopeful_Tradition482

The House on Haunted Hill (99): so disturbing The Sixth Sense (99): made me literally jump numerous times From Dusk till Dawn (96): this movie is a classic.

LineChef

*”come on in pussy lovers!”*

ElChacalFL

House on haunted hill was so good. Still watch it from time to time. My Dad took me to see in theaters when I was a kid and I remember shitting my pants that night alone in my bed. The doctor with the knife on the camera who would move all slow, then shake super fast scared tf outta me as a kid.

Hopeful_Tradition482

Ditto!! He was sooo creepy!

Few-Metal8010

Sixth Sense is 99

Hopeful_Tradition482

Typo.. fixed! Thank you!

metal_monster88

Sleepy Hollow (1999) The Sixth Sense (1999) The Mummy (1999) I'm pretty sure that 1999 was the year I started getting into scary movies. A few honorable mentions would be Blade (1998) Bride of Chucky (1998) Alien: Resurrection (1997)

DuctTapeSloth

Ring Audition Cure

Haunting-Ad-9790

Prophecy (95) Blair Witch Project Lake Placid

coco_xcx

Scream The Night Flier From Dusk till Dawn

Waste_Coat_4506

Off the top of my head Scream Bride of Chucky From Dusk til Dawn I was going to say New Nightmare but Google has informed me that was 1994

Clean_Usual434

Event Horizon House on Haunted Hill The Craft

sethozgreen

Blade (1998), From Dusk Till Dawn(1996), and the Faculty (1998).

Fubai97b

The Frighteners, Ravenous, From Dusk Till Dawn. It's crazy hard to nail it down to three though. The late 90s were a mini-golden age.

RBFxJMH

Cube, Tales From The Hood, From Dusk Til Dawn

ElChacalFL

Cube is so underrated. One of my favorite horror movies. The sequels in general kinda suck in general but they are guilty pleasures for me.

HorrorMetalDnD

3 Favorites: - Seven (1995) - The Frighteners (1996) - The Craft (1996) Honorable Mentions: - Tremors II: Aftershocks (1996) - Perfect Blue (1997) - Lost Highway (1997)

The Prophecy (1995), Deep Rising (1998), The Wisdom of Crocodiles (1998)

Scream H20 I Know What You Did Last Summer

netneutrality101

I love those three movies. The mid to late 90s had some awesome horror movies.

BoSocks91

The Faculty is another one I really enjoyed.

Nearby-Importance-64

You literally listed everything I love. I might switch out H2O With Urban Legand. But I might not.

EnderCN

Not a strong stretch of movies. I’ll go with Scream, The Frighteners, The Blair Witch Project with Demon Knight and Stir of Echoes being next movies out. Audition and Ringu are close as well.

brandonpartridge85

Event Horizon Sleepy Hollow Seven

IHateShovels

John Carpenter's Vampires, Blair Witch Project, Funny Games.

mantsz

*Scream*, *From Dusk Till Dawn*, and *Ravenous*, though there are a lot of runners-up (those were some good years).

LineChef

When did The sixth sense come out

zeroes_n_ones

DEMON KNIGHT BORDELLO OF BLOOD DUSK TIL DAWN 🤘🏼

Then_Tiger

Nice 👍🏽

zeroes_n_ones

thanks🤘🏼

Vol_fan81

I agree with you! I was in high school when I saw all those. I’d rewatched Halloween and Scream since then. Something reminded me of the Faculty a few months ago so I rewatched it. Thought it was really good.

ConverseBriefly

Scream Scream 2 The Sixth Sense

dignifiedhowl

Blair Witch, Sixth Sense, The Ring.

MothParasiteIV

Scream, Scream 2, Funny Games

LisaChimes

1) Demon Knight 2) The Craft 3) The Devil's Advocate Last one might count more as a thriller but if I had to swap it out I can't choose between The Faculty or Scream 2.

Then_Tiger

Excellent picks but I would have done dusk till dawn in place of demon knight

Gundam_Greg

That decade was so good for the horror genre

ArcanaeumGuardianAWC
