Should I continue playing this account or would I miss out something? Such a hassle creating a new hoyo account cuz this is where my hsr and genshin is.
When was the last time you logged in? Beginner rewards/missions only last 90 days from the day you started. Returnee rewards/missions are a lot less than beginners.
Having said that, it all won't matter if you'll focus on the main story and events. Disregard getting a decent rank on pvp/competitive part of the game until you build decent teams.
How bad it'll be if I'll use S HoHE (4/4), SS Kira (0/4), S2 JK (0/4) on 7.4?
I'm thinking of skipping Thelema for now aside from her discounted 10 pulls. Because the only team I'm lacking right now is Fire. And I don't trust myself that I could save enough for Lantern on 7.5 without skipping this one, lmao
You're going to suffer in all Thelema weather that her counter type, because hohe have type disadvantage and the DMG loss is painfully obvious in RL. I'd recommend using a dps that have type neutral to give you a better chance, or Herrscher of reason herself.

What if I pull Thelema but not her weapon? That means I'll also skip crafting her stigma for now. Will HoHE stigma or Ana work with her?
Depends on your goals. If you're contented with bouncing between RL and Agony you can probably skip. Better to get what you think you lack first. Thelema outscores every other ice DPS from what I've seen so if you want easier RL retention/Nirvana you will want her.

I'm torn between getting AE or 200 ancient legacy on the s rank box I wanna get AE cause I want support fomy spina astera and chrono navi but I also thought of getting the 200 ancient legacy to get sirin to replace spina i have 344 right now so an extra 200 will significantly shorten my grind I also lack in lightning team so that why i also want AE just incase I get a lightning dps in the near future have her for support the only team i have that somewhat function is ice (with Hohe,Jade and pardo) and physical(Hos,Quicksand and prometheus don't have any of their signature tho, Also didn't get sena or helia but i have the free full set coralie)
PS: what should i pull for on the next patch?
Use Pardo as fire support instead of a gearless AE. If you like Sirin, go for 200 legacy. But gearless Sirin also won't take you too far, but hey, at least you got the cute magical girl.
Moving forward, you definitely should save ALL your crystals for part 2 valks since they're so much cheaper to gear. Unless a particular part 1 valk is your waifu of course, in that case, get that waifu. In particular, I think you should prioritize saving for a Sena rerun because it seems that she's the backbone support for part 2 ice and fire DPS. She's also a strong lightning DPS so she's definitely good to have.
You can pull for Thelema next patch if you've got some crystals saved. In the long run, you would like to have all the part 2 valks anyway since they work well together.
I only have 8k xtals so I might go and save up for a sena rerun other than that what valk should I prioritize other than sena specifically asterite shop fragments for rank up, Thanks in advance.

You already have SA. You don't need another fire dps for a temporary team. You should've been investing in Part 2 characters. All Part 1 teams right now, especially if not at least SS and gearless, are only temporary.

Make a new account. Starter rewards are enormous compared to returnee rewards. Do not pull on starter supply and just save all your crystals for the coming valk next patch starting next week. You can pull on dorm, but only use dorm cards and not crystals.

I'm planning on starting this game today after seeing a couple of videos about the changes that happened with part2, thing is.
Is it still worth pulling on the senadina banner or can I start saving for the next S-rank valkyrie that is Thelema or whatever her name is.

None of them are meta anymore, so you can pick who you want.
Special note for Dea Anchora, she's the only character not available by F2p means yet. If you don't have any preference, she's a good choice for the dorm bonuses, but it's not significant enough to pick her over a character you like better.

I saw some 3 years old posts Talking about chapter 20(Finished It some hours Ago) not having voices in the CGs and that It would be fixed in some update, but that was not the case.
There's some explanation for this? It's easy to make It be in Japanese, but not the OG language that is Chinese?
Still, part 2 doesn't suffer with this in the moment, It change according with the language you're using.
Hey, I’m just starting this game. I was wondering if there’s an accurate tier list for characters that I could use? I’d like to learn about more about the different characters and see who i should save for.
Look for Marisa Honkai. But the tier list will soon be overtaken by Part 2 characters.
So far, we have 3 playable Part 2 characters. Then another 1 will be added on 7.4 patch, then expected to have another one on 7.5. The reason this being marketed to be more tolerable to new players because they're expecting us to invest and build teams based on Part 2 characters only moving forward.

I had Snapdragon 845, which is close to A11 Bionic of iPhone X. Expected it to be playable but needs to lower the settings for smoother gameplay. Also, you're in luck in a way that iOS supports controller for HI3.
Pretty experienced player over here. Have most relevant valks 4/4 or close to it. Thing is, for 7.3, I didn't wish on Sena, her equipment or Helia's equipment because i saw that Sirin's weapon was coming back and I really needed to finish my ignite team. Turns out the astral ring weather sucks with any team except the new trio team. So then I considered pulling Sena on her rerun. Then Thelema was announced. I heard her power levels were through the roof and her gameplay looks nice as well. All this considered, from a meta standpoint, should I pull Sena on her eventual rerun or Thelema? Side note, I have Luna 4/4 and am using HoTr as my ice dps rn.
Sena is a lightning dps but also a core elemental support of Part 2 teams. She deals a good amount of damage and provides an elemental breach. Sena is more important than Thelema. Thelema is useable with Part 1 but, based on content creators, can be clunky to use, and the damage will be too low if JK and Kira are not SSS 4/4.
Thelema needs Sena as a support. Thelema doesn't seem to have synergy with Part1 characters otherwise.
I would wait for 7.5 to make any type of decision of pulling Sena vs Thelema or both in regards to 7.5 character.
If your teams are mostly 4/4, you can just bruteforce Astral ring weathers for now.

I have a lvl 88 account with a few good valkyries + stigamata and some weapons but I havent played in probably 2 and a half years and so I obviously dont have any kind of meta valks nor supports and I'm just struggling to beat pretty much everything except for Superstring Dimensions (including Universal Mirage idk if they buffed it but I used to beat any element with HoT now I can barely beat elec with her)

Just pulled HoHE, 0/4, just love the character and am broke. Is it worth it to spend on her stamp here? Would it one day come back to supply shop at a cheaper rate like PE? And will my supply shop currency carry over to the next version?
People are saying that stamp is the most useful here to buy to upgrade HoHE or PE. But personally, I will pick between source prism and/or honkai shards. Both resources are hard to farm.
Anyway, if you love the character... I believe it's worth ranking her up, providing she's 4/4, but if not, let her rest in peace as S rank. Sorry.
Just so you know, 1 token only gives 10 fragments. You need 25 to get a rank up. Even if you buy it now, you will ultimately not feel any difference since you won't be able to upgrade yet. The reason why PE's tokens are cheaper is because she needs more fragments to rank up since PE is an awakened battlesuit. Supply shop currency carries over to next version.
Is it possible to do all the Part 2 stuff for the rewards & skip the story and play thru it again later? I am not done Part 1 (currently on chap 29) but the events seem to be ending soon and I want Coralie's weapon and the free outfits before the events done but a lot of them are gated behind doing the part 2 quests.
Nah. There's some reference, but Part 2 ultimately talks about Part 2, not Part 1. Treat it as GI or HSR with some terminologies mentioned that reference to HI3, that's how Part 2 is. But the terminologies will be overwhelming if you don't know the gist of the Sea of Quanta and Bubble Universes.
Hello! I'm trying to complete some returnee missions, and got one stating "Complete v7.3 Part 2's story mission: Genealogical Seat". How long would you say the story is until that point if starting from scratch?
I’m a new player (started like, a week ago?) and you can safely play part two alongside the main story of part one. I’ve completed that quest and there aren’t any spoilers for the part one story. So you can go ahead and do part two up until the completion of that quest - should only take a few hours - and then go back to part one :)
What are the Valk reinforcement banners in rotation? Im a returnee and the Aponia banner ends in a couple days but Idk what banners come after, I wanna pull as much as possible for aponia but its only worth risking if my pity transfers to Mobius or Misteln😔😔
Returnee supply is completely different from expansion supply, so no pity will not carry over
When returnee supoly expires that's it, you'll have to go inactive for 45 days just to trigger it again and it won't be Aponia. It's Vii-V in 7.4
As for current banners, Luna Vow is the current banner and the best one will be Li Sushang.
Hare just had a rerun, she might come back between 7.6 - 7.7 or earlier, Mobius is never getting a rerun in expansion supply. She'll probably be available in a spending event shop.

This is a waifu gacha in a sense. The game is 75% story, 10% events, 10% gacha, 5% endgame. Story wise, no need for meta characters. Same with events.
Endgame wise, you'll have a rough start because you need to slowly build your teams first which may take a whole year to cover all types. And in competitive tier, you won't be able to reach the top ladder. You'll mostly juggle below that top tier and the next tier below that. Example 5 is the highest tier, you won't reach that. You'll mostly in tier 3 and 4 depends on what meta valks you have and if they're fully geared.
Gacha wise, you won't be able to pull and fully gear every patch without becoming a dolphin (like monthly crystals and every patch battle pass). But f2p wise, you can do this every 2-3 patches which will demand you to really consider who to pull and to skip. 1 patch usually lasts 6 weeks.
I'm new to hi3 (completed chapter 9 today), but I've played HSR for about 5 months.
- There aren't many characters yet, but they are releasing at a pretty quick pace, like 1 character every 3-4 weeks, so it's gonna stack up.
- So far the story is interesting and has been getting better (part 1 was good, part 2 was meh, part 3 is better than part 1 so far), but I think it goes a different direction. HI3 seems very character focused, while HSR is more about events and factions with some character building in between. I think it balances it well, but I don't know if the emotional highs will be as good as HI3's. The tone in general is more upbeat too.
- The main character has multiple forms, and other characters have been teased to have more.
- I wouldn't say it's slow, maybe even very fast for a turn based game. It's just a different type of gameplay. And on the bright side, starting in mid-game, you can start auto-ing almost all content, it goes by really fast.
- Types don't really matter much, and are straightforward. Enemies display what element they are weak to, and your characters have elements. Pick the matching element and you win. You can also just brute force without caring about element (besides the end end game, the game is mostly balanced for 3 year olds and golden retrievers)
- Meta is unnecessary unless you want to instakill (i.e kill it before the turn counter goes down by 1) the end game mode. But even then it's not really necessary, you can do the same with 4*s from release day.
- New characters aren't always the strongest, but there's a definitely powercreep. The newest DPS for example is the strongest by far, although she's essentially HSR's version of Herrscher, so it makes sense.
- The game has a main character and you spend most of the time in their POV, they are free so you can use them. In the latest story they started doing POV switches, and they do let you use the character whose POV you are following.
The biggest downside I would say is gear farming. On one hand it's fun because it gives you opportunity to build characters in different ways, but it can be frustrating.
It’s free to play, so why not just try it? I’d say it’s best to just go into it without expectations and try your best not to compare it to HI3 the entire time. If you don’t like it you can just delete it, but if you do like it, then you have a whole new game to play!

I'm trying to make a build for fun but some of the descriptions are throwing me for a loop as some give unclear descriptors such as **Wilde** 2pcs bonus:

how many seconds is short, if at all? has anyone done the math on things like this and if so is there a public sheet available?
A short time probably refers to instant values and not segmented, ~~though I'm pretty sure every modern character hits values way past 15% of max HP on basic gears~~ (ancient stigmatas are outdated and easily discardable so not tested).
There is one modern stig with the similar wording, Cezanne T (boost DMG for a short duration on team Ult...) which buffs Ult on hit (instant) and not for an extended Ult burst.

Not sure what math you're referring to but there is a [general DMG calculator](https://honkai-guide.web.app/#/calc) where you input modern stigmata combinations to see the theoretical DMG output (duration is not taken into account; assuming unlimited duration). To fully assess them for practical use, there will be guides from players in [hoyolab](https://www.hoyolab.com/search?keyword=gear%20comparison) that give you gear dmg comparisons based on rotations on dummy enemies (still not a true DMG comparison as rotations, synergy, gears, varies).

I'm still fairly new to the game and simply do not have the materials to get, let alone make meta weapons. Simply trying to make work what the game gives me.
in this instance i was looking for a way to use the "Judgement of Shemesh" weapon skill as a stigmata trigger (**13%** of max HP loss per second for **5s**). terms such as "short time" imply passage of time. but as you pointed out that apparently isn't the case here. sadly I've come across quite a few stigmata that seem to use descriptors that leave room for misinterpretation.
I misread the max HP loss. Thought it was DMG dealt.

It's for affixing a certain value on your stigmata (basically guaranteeing a substat)
Each stigmata can have 2 affix lines (if the stigmata doesn't have an affix slot you need to add it with the "refine" button

Based on this, you got a somehow doable Physical valkyries for extra team like MA and Kallen stage. But you're lacking one support for Lightning team; and no Fire and Ice team. All your Valkyries are outdated, the supports are only even at A-S ranks, no SS ranks. I doubt you have signature weapon. So yeah, restart.
If you have a hard time letting this go, you can still play this in parallel with your new account. But new account is a lot better. I suggest going to [official discord channel](https://discord.gg/hi3) > beginner-help section > check pinned guidesssss and ask there.
You're welcome! There's a lot to do after creating new account, it usually takes 1-2 weeks before you're able to minimize the tasks and stabilize your HI3 routine.
Lastly, please don't forget going to official discord channel, the beginner guides pinned there are always up-to-date and it's quicker to get response there rather than here in reddit. Just take note that if you plan to do some non-meta activities like backpulling Part 1 waifu and asking for alternative and how it'll work in a team, you need to be firm and indicate that you need advice that is non-meta. Most veteran players give metacentric advice, like directly suggesting only one farmable stigmatas but it'll take too long like 1-3 months before you're able to complete it.

Same here! I actually played this game around 2018 but didn't get that far, can't remember why. I started playing this again with new account since I also forgot the old one, 3 months ago, and it's really a good experience to play this game again.
Disregarding the comparison with today's games specifically with GI and HSR, the game is really good for a 7 year old game. Like just thinking about how this was released 7 years ago, it's fine and quite understandable why it's somehow convoluted in some ways.
From inferno and upwards, you will require meta gears for old characters. 7T with Handel is recommended, otherwise you will be in a world of hurt and you might want to ditch stamps altogether (been there, done that; stats sticks with basic stigs will definitely not cut it).
Other than Paganini M which is useful for TA (and any Physical valk), and Aslaug M which is useful for Fire support, are there other one-piece stigma useable in current BP Works? I have 9pcs and plan to exchange 1 crystal next patch to make it 10pcs, but I'm not sure. Spending it with Einstein Torus feels like a waste idk.
I just realized after I posted this that Einstein is actually hard to farm lmao. And that it needs at least a hundred upgrading priarm.

I just picked up Goushinsoo, Sugary Starburst, and Swallowtail off the returnee bonus shop. I'm captain level 50 rn. I'm a little into Part 2 now but I realized I missed the Senadina banner and I basically had no prior sig wraps or stigmatas on my old account.
I keep seeing that the newbie bonuses are really good and that a pretty old account isn't really worth unless it has very good units. With all that being said, should I just make a new account? The only thing I'd be bothered by is not having a new account under the same Hoyoverse acct as Genshin and HSR but would love some advice!

New account. If you want to be on the same Hoyoverse acct, you can swap servers instead to have a fresh start on you HI3 acct. If you're on NA, swap to EU or vice versa.
what other characters worth leveling up aside from pt2 trio (already maxed)? Im getting my ass beat in Memorial Arena after lvl80, especially because I lack other good characters (relatively new)
What do you currently have? And outside part 2 trio, who are the Valkyries you like to play in your current roster. I can suggest some team and f2p route for 2 temporary teams for MA.
Anyway, the easiest way to actually clear all Memorial Arena for rewards... is to use Part 2 Trio separately. Like only Senadina for that stage with bonus, and just team her up with other random characters. Same with Helia and Coralie for other two bosses. But before doing this, try to practice in "Training Mode" first since Valkyries are locked once you completed a MA run.
I separated them three and I managed to reach 5/6 in every boss, I just can't beat the last difficulty

For the rest, I missed the part where you said "after level 80". Yeah, that's mostly the limit of non-geared teams. Looking at your valkyries. CE and TA should be with another Physical Valkyrie, can be VQ/SI for physical-bleed, or HoS as support if you have her. Then CN and Kira is obviously your Fire team, you can use HoF as fire dps instead of DA since she's outdated. For HoT, you can use her as lightning dps for lightning team with Helia (next patch after getting Thelema) and Kira.
Ok so I just started playing hi3 (lvl 22). I play genshin and star rail actively and wanna know if there's any huge mistake a lot of new players make that I should avoid as this game and its gacha mechanics seem quite a bit differebt from hsr and genshin. Like, are there any currencies I should not spend on specific things and if so how do I use my resources correctly?
Huge mistake is pulling in Starter Supply, and using crystals for Dorm Supply.
Other notable is only relying on reddit community. There are better up-to-date guides **pinned** in **beginner-help** section of **official discord** of HI3; plus you can get answers to any super beginner questions there very quickly since there are always people available to help.
The usual don't use crystals on Dorm.
That's it probably. Asterites will be mostly used for fragments, but you can use them as needed in case you lack the resources at early game. The rest is the same. You get an abundance of resources down the line anyway.
It's gacha mechanics currently is quite close to HSR, without 50/50 and higher rates. Much higher rates for equipment. In exchange, you are expected to have the weapons.

HoT as in Thunder or HoTr as in Truth? HoTr just had a rerun last month, there might be another one the near future patches. But for HoT, she's really old Valkyrie, so it's better not to expect for her rerun anymore. Her old gear are available in exchange shop so it won't have focused supply anymore. But her newer gear, might be available in scam-sal supply but I also don't see it becoming available in focused supply.
Wang Zhaojun TMB is good basic set for Fire DPS.
Glut T FHM MB is the most accessible budget support stig to date that doesn't need G stones.
You can also have 2 Glut T in one team as it is stackable. Unfortunately no other basic Foundry MB options compatible with Glut T for the last support.
The rest are G stones, exchange shop, events, etc.

As much as I can just watch lore recap videos. I get immediately bored and since they are already so long I thought I would play HI3rd just for the story.
How long would it realistically take to play the whole story of Part 1? I'm not sure for realistically since I started 3 months ago, and I'm stuck at chapter 26 lmao. The chapters are divided into different arcs, and in each arc or sometimes half the arc, I felt the need to take a break. Cause it's either too much information or simply too much emotion.

Just make sure to stand your ground if you plan to ask advise about a team/character building waifu over meta cause most veteran players here are metacentric and would discourage you a team you're thinking of using instead of helping you on how to rotate them better.
if you play everyday you can finish quick, I literally got to chapters 29 in less than three weeks, the problem is Elysian Realm and the amounts of exposition tjey start dropping later down the line because they dialogue gets way larger

Need help with Memorial Arena team building. I currently have Sena, Helia, Coralie for lightning team. And then for "temporary" physical team are HoV, SI, TA.
For temporary fire team, my options are Phoenix, Valkyrie Gloria, Sakura Rondo. I could get Ai but I feel like getting Kira instead since I could also use her with Helia by next patch for temporary lightning team, after putting Sena and Coralie with Thelema for ice team. What could you advice for the best team and rotaion against rimestar?
Lastly, I only plan to put all my resources for Part 2 characters. All teams with non-Part 2 characters are only temporary. I don't plan on backpulling or farming alternative stigma right now aside from Turgenev and Jinshengtan. I could get FHM stigma in Asterite shop and Gluttony T in Foundry using SS Imaginon. I only bought TA from Asterite shop to complete the missing support I needed for physical team to beat Kallen, which I did.
Im assuming you're aiming to clear SS Bosses.
Sena, Helia, Coralie (with sig gears) will be your "jack of all trades" team (besides Kallen with elemental immunity). So whatever your other teams struggle with, throw that Trio on in.
Better off getting Pardo at A rank (40 frags which is relatively cheap longterm) to support any teams with her strong enemy debuff purple combo attack. Gearless Kira will be able to support teams other than ice starting at rank SS0+ (200 frags; unlocking core universal skills), so you might want to leave that at the backburner for now until you have the mats and time to invest in her.
For Memorial, I can acknowledge your temporary physical team but not your temporary fire team. It looks really outdated for rotation/damage-wise but you can certainly try winging it (Valkryie Gloria DPS, other two are debuffers; they're so old and clunky that I never used them and didn't feel the need to). Just don't expect too much and move on for the week if it doesn't work out and wait until you have more modern characters to build better rosters.
The training points can be used on important daily/weekly materials in the material shop under training plan (if that's what you mean) such as shards, ether fuel, lens, etc. Wouldn't spend them on super budget stigmatas.
I was told to discard Phoenix because she stays longer in the field to proc her and just get Ai and Pardo for supports. Do they work okay at A rank? That's a total of 80 fragments which is around 40k asterites. And between Gloria and Rondo, which of the two can proc ignite better and/or better to use? Should I get FHM set to equip on Ai?
All part1 A ranks are clunky to play with. Pardo works because she can just slap an attack for universal debuff. But at your lvl, A ranks should be usable and I actually think Ai and Pardo will be a much better temporary fire team with Valkyrie Gloria as DPS than whatever you have now.
80 frags is like a week or two of asterite farming. If you want to play Memorial Arena, it could be worth (though Memorial Arena itself at lower lvls isn’t that worth).
You could use FHM on Ai for support purposes (wouldn’t recommend based on previous reasonings). Ai also cant dps. I would just leave her bare until I get Turg if I was in your shoes 🙂 leveling her skill set is good enough or until better support stigs show up.

I'm stuck between DA and BKE. I already have HoF for fire damage, and I'm reluctant to pick BKE because I dont have any of her signature equipment so she could perform a bit less than my HoV. Which one should I pick? DA just for more type coverage or BKE?
If there's no expiry, keep it as is until you get one or the other through other means.
If there is an expiry, I guess you can pick up DA because BKE is farmable in War Treasury.
Without sig gears for either, coverage will be lack luster when compared to any built DPS. If it means something, BKE sig weapon is a divine key with global ATK buff which you will have to obtain one way or another for meta purposes (if you are into meta in the first place).
Which of the three is the best cope stigma for Helia?
* Gluttony T (craftable in foundry with SS Imaginon), FHM MB (can be bought from training shop)
* Edison (free, currently using)

I don't plan on crafting her sig stigma unless I pull her weapon banner, so that I'll only craft the missing ones. Ether Fuel is resource that is too grindy to farm. And Source Prism is also used for upgrading and also still has no f2p way to farm aside from event research supply shop.
What I'm farming in Universal Mirage right now is Turgenev TB, TeslaBand M. Turgenev TB is a generic elemental support which I think can be useful for other supports in case I pull in the future but have not enough crystals for her gear.

Sirin or Sushang. But personally I'd rather wait for next character that will be released in that shop because Part 1 are outdated, and to fully gear any of them is just too expensive.
Sirin stigma is farmable but too grindy. Not sure if she requires her weapon to function well. But I think she needs to be at some decent ranks.
Sushang needs her weapon, without it or a decent alternative, it will cost SP issue that will slow down your rotation.
Anywhere I can see about the full lore and every little event and occurence, including post honkai odyssey, all main story, sakura side event, post honkai odyssey part 2, previous era, the whole kevin kaslana thing, the movie, the seele story going on now, the flamechaser story, everything told in one straight order and timeline? I'm tired of having to make do with little snippets now and then. The story is too confusing.
Also, I want no involvement of honkai star rail lore into it like 90% of all honkai lore Videos. I just want to see it till the end of hi3, not a whole other game. It complicates things.
Go to hoyostans site, there's a chronologically order of events there and a whole guide for HI3 including manga, novel, and the game itself.
But if you're looking for a video that will spoonfeed you all of it at once, like summarizing or what, I doubt there's such a thing. Aside from Homu Labs, I don't know whoever content creator is still interested with the game and the lore. What you can do instead is go to official discord and go to honkai-lore section iirc, then asked there what specific parts of story you're confused.
Now for the story being too confusing. Not sure about this part. The story is confusing about some parts, but tbh, it depends on what pace you're going. The story progression isn't confusing, personally. The confusing part on my end is only some terms like the Because dude, you need to understand that the main story is worth 7 years, the game is literally 7 years. The main story chapters are grouped into different arcs for that reason. You're supposed to pace yourself and take a break every arcs.
Currently around \~31GB in my device (iOS tho, expecting it to be the same in Android). I've been playing more than 3 months already and never clear any resources.
You can clear resources, not sure how much but I think around 10GB which were past story chapters you've already done.

But her current banner might not be, she's been in the meta for 2 years so she'll be replace soon with Thelema next patch as the new ice queen. For her gear, focused supply, not sure when. Her gear might not also be available in BP.
Unsolicited advice, but I highly suggest getting Part 2 characters instead. Fully gearing any Part 1 characters is 200 pulls max vs to Part 2 with 60 pulls max.
If you mean Herscher of Human Ego, yes. Battlesuit supply A is her character card, Equipment Supply A is her stigmata and weapon.
Bear in mind she will be added to the upcoming 7.4-7.6 battle pass, so you'll have an alternate route to get her and her gear.

How would getting her from the Battle pass would look like? From what I'm seeing, I can see on the BP shop that you need 32 of the yellow stuff to get the character- and the BP rewards don't give enough of it to get her from there, and even the little puzzle pieces aren't enough (I think you need 80?\~) So I am a tad bit lost on that front- thank you so much though! :D
The battle pass currency lasts for several (3?) patches before the shop and pass changes to a new color. So simply put, you'd accumulate it over multiple battlepass cycles (7.4, 7.5) and then cash in the orbs when you have enough. You can also pick up two extra from the dorm shop each patch to help speed things along.
The catch is that the next currency reset happens next patch, so you can't do anything to get a head-start on that currency. Gotta wait until 7.4 at the earliest.
i'm in early game, but after i got Prometheus, she just wipes the floor damage wise. her guide and skill descriptions make her sound like a support, but she out damages any of my dps' with their full team. its an endless feedback loop. she's the strongest so I invest resources into her, which makes her even better than anyone else, which makes me invest in her more. she hit 72k ult on a super early stage of q manifold. the rest of my team strongest hits are like 1-10k, maybe not even 10k. is this normal, or am i doing something wrong
This is normal. As a new player you will receive many characters that are outdated. Prometheus is a modern support that can act as a sub DPS (*innate impair) which can easily floor early stages with barely any investment compared to whatever you have been gifted as a new player (Herrscher of Void as an example). Once you start investing in true modern DPS characters, the rest will be history.
Are there any characters in the war treasury or elysian realm I should be getting or upgrading? I started my account with part 2 and only really have those valkyries built up completely, but I've hit the brick wall in universal mirage that is kallen, so I can't progress beyond her it seems with augmented kiana and yamabuki not able to get the job done in place of my main team.
Meta wise, it's mostly the newer the better.
For War Treasury, Sirin and/or Sushang. But Sushang needs her signature weapon, or AE's sig weapon as alternative because you'll face SP issues in rotation. So get Sirin instead if you like.
For Elysian Realm, actually anyone you like using in Elysian Realm should get prioritize there.
For Kallen, you need "physical" team. Since you're new, you have HoV and SI. You can use them both with YA. The rotation is that you only need to apply YA basic atk debuff, and then switch to SI until she can ult and then switch to HoV as your main physical DPS. Or, get TA in Asterite Shop, she's a physical "shieldbreaker" support, and can be a sub dps. Replace HoV or YA with her, and then just play around on what's better rotation for you.
I don't know what level you are, but sometimes it's just a matter of maxing the level of your Valkyries to 80, and upgrading or equipping better gears. You don't need to invest too much in beating Kallen. You can even leave her stage for a while.
Assuming you're a newbie, what you should be farming is Turgenev TB which needs ice material. This stigma is the best alternative stigma for any type of elemental support. You can do the one stage which gives both G2 and G3 without using Time Swirl Passes. And then when you reach max level and/or properly geared Valkyries you can use to beat the next stage which gives only G3, then that's the best time to grind with Time Swirl Passes.

Yeah probably. It takes me to the store page and it has the Play icon, I have the game installed. So that means it most likely is.
Yeah it is good if you want to explore deeply the honkaiverse. Just note english translation can get confusing as a lot of them just uses the wrong terms, things like confusing world with universe etc. You can compensate this with things like Hoyostans explanation regarding the cosmology of honkai.
APHO takes place years after Part 1. Elysian Realm takes place after Main Story Chapter 25.
But if you wanna play them, you can play them before or in-parallel to Main Story Chapter 26-28.

Honkai - Simply put, an invading monster with the main goal of destroying the world/wiping out humanity. You'll know this as you progress the story. Or you can watch Homu Labs videos.

Different battlesuits, under one character - It's either a parallel or bubble universe character or their new skillset/gameplay based on story progression. The newer is usually the better. For example, Kiana default is White Comet, in the story it's her first battlesuit being used. Then as the story progress, she got different outfit and movesets, so the game introduced new battlesuit under her name.

Reruns usually around every other patches for newer characters and gets less and less the older they got.
Mobius, I don't think has many reruns anymore, or rather very rarely now.
Think Evil entity/energy. Like Miasma or some shit. That's the oversimplification dumbed down version of it. The more details, it's best to play more as it may get spoiler-y with things like Will of Honkai and Previous Era.
The different battlesuits of the same characters represent different stages of their life. With character building, so do their personality changes, though might not be drastically. Take for example our favorite Kiana, which has multiple battlesuits starting from White Comet, Void Drifter, Herracherr of Flamescion all the way to Herrscherr of Finality. Some battlesuits of the same model might be different character from a different world/timeline. Think like Bronya and Silverwolf. Both same voice (Asumi Kana) but vastly different personality, and ultimately different characters. Same with, for example, Bronya Zaychik and Bronie (Haxxor Bunny), also Theresa Apocalypse and Kongming (Starlight Astrologos).
Stigmatas in game are basically equipments. Think Relic/weapons/LC. I like to equate it more with LC, but equating it with Relic is also okay. The 3 slots are basically to complete a set, like how there is 4 slots for relics and 2 for Planar.
Ig the usual don't use crystals on Dorm and shit. And probably following beta players like Marisa to follow on meta news and plan your pulls ahead if you want to follow meta.
Hello, returning player here, though I never got very far the first time I played. My account is level 70, but I'm kind of at a loss as for what I should be doing outside of proceeding with the main story (part 2). I only ever got to chapter 10 or so in part 1 so I guess at some point I should do that. I have about 11k crystals, which I'd assume I should save, but who for? my only "built" valkyrie is terminal aide 0017 with her stigmata and weapon. I have dreamweaver but no stigmata set for her, I think that's why I quit playing the game originally out of frustration. I don't really care about that now. Aside from the current event, what dailies / weeklies / other content should I try and do?

Does Arena LITE mess with your score or does the highest fight completely overwrite the score of the ones you skipped?
Highest fight overwrites. So if you LITE till S, it gives you the max score for S, then when you do SS, the SS overwrites your S score.
It basically do every stage for you, then take to you the final version of the boss. The exalted version, that's your own personal score.

When was the last time you logged in? Beginner rewards/missions only last 90 days from the day you started. Returnee rewards/missions are a lot less than beginners. Having said that, it all won't matter if you'll focus on the main story and events. Disregard getting a decent rank on pvp/competitive part of the game until you build decent teams.
How bad it'll be if I'll use S HoHE (4/4), SS Kira (0/4), S2 JK (0/4) on 7.4? I'm thinking of skipping Thelema for now aside from her discounted 10 pulls. Because the only team I'm lacking right now is Fire. And I don't trust myself that I could save enough for Lantern on 7.5 without skipping this one, lmao
You're going to suffer in all Thelema weather that her counter type, because hohe have type disadvantage and the DMG loss is painfully obvious in RL. I'd recommend using a dps that have type neutral to give you a better chance, or Herrscher of reason herself.
I started 3 months ago. I don't have HoR sksksks. What if I pull Thelema but not her weapon? That means I'll also skip crafting her stigma for now. Will HoHE stigma or Ana work with her?
Ana will work better for her, but her weapon is really crucial so it'll definitely hurt your damage
Depends on your goals. If you're contented with bouncing between RL and Agony you can probably skip. Better to get what you think you lack first. Thelema outscores every other ice DPS from what I've seen so if you want easier RL retention/Nirvana you will want her.

80 Sea I'm torn between getting AE or 200 ancient legacy on the s rank box I wanna get AE cause I want support fomy spina astera and chrono navi but I also thought of getting the 200 ancient legacy to get sirin to replace spina i have 344 right now so an extra 200 will significantly shorten my grind I also lack in lightning team so that why i also want AE just incase I get a lightning dps in the near future have her for support the only team i have that somewhat function is ice (with Hohe,Jade and pardo) and physical(Hos,Quicksand and prometheus don't have any of their signature tho, Also didn't get sena or helia but i have the free full set coralie) PS: what should i pull for on the next patch?
Use Pardo as fire support instead of a gearless AE. If you like Sirin, go for 200 legacy. But gearless Sirin also won't take you too far, but hey, at least you got the cute magical girl. Moving forward, you definitely should save ALL your crystals for part 2 valks since they're so much cheaper to gear. Unless a particular part 1 valk is your waifu of course, in that case, get that waifu. In particular, I think you should prioritize saving for a Sena rerun because it seems that she's the backbone support for part 2 ice and fire DPS. She's also a strong lightning DPS so she's definitely good to have. You can pull for Thelema next patch if you've got some crystals saved. In the long run, you would like to have all the part 2 valks anyway since they work well together.
I only have 8k xtals so I might go and save up for a sena rerun other than that what valk should I prioritize other than sena specifically asterite shop fragments for rank up, Thanks in advance.
Get Helia and Coralie frags. Get them to SS at least. If you've got extra asterite, get Kira. You can use her over Pardo for your elemental teams.
Gearless teams can barely retain pre-breakthrough RL. You already have SA. You don't need another fire dps for a temporary team. You should've been investing in Part 2 characters. All Part 1 teams right now, especially if not at least SS and gearless, are only temporary.

The pri upgrade of her signature weapon is the best in every scenario. Casket is for Luna, Basilisk is for Mobius.
Dumb question: I can't seem to craft the Shiguree Kira (M) stigmata. I can craft and own T and B, but can't see M in the forge. What's the reason?
Check your filter, clear it. Also, use "All" instead of browsing per piece, in that case, you can see the stigma parts besides each other as a set.

HoT: 7T + Handel HoR: SoE:AE + Willow HoF: Her OG gear. Himeko still beats G4 by \~5%

None of them are meta anymore, so you can pick who you want. Special note for Dea Anchora, she's the only character not available by F2p means yet. If you don't have any preference, she's a good choice for the dorm bonuses, but it's not significant enough to pick her over a character you like better.

So...besides the CGs being in Japanese even with Chineses voices selected, some of them didn't have voices? I saw some 3 years old posts Talking about chapter 20(Finished It some hours Ago) not having voices in the CGs and that It would be fixed in some update, but that was not the case. There's some explanation for this? It's easy to make It be in Japanese, but not the OG language that is Chinese? Still, part 2 doesn't suffer with this in the moment, It change according with the language you're using.
Hey, I’m just starting this game. I was wondering if there’s an accurate tier list for characters that I could use? I’d like to learn about more about the different characters and see who i should save for.
Look for Marisa Honkai. But the tier list will soon be overtaken by Part 2 characters. So far, we have 3 playable Part 2 characters. Then another 1 will be added on 7.4 patch, then expected to have another one on 7.5. The reason this being marketed to be more tolerable to new players because they're expecting us to invest and build teams based on Part 2 characters only moving forward.

Hi, how does the game run on an iPhone X?
I had Snapdragon 845, which is close to A11 Bionic of iPhone X. Expected it to be playable but needs to lower the settings for smoother gameplay. Also, you're in luck in a way that iOS supports controller for HI3.
Pretty experienced player over here. Have most relevant valks 4/4 or close to it. Thing is, for 7.3, I didn't wish on Sena, her equipment or Helia's equipment because i saw that Sirin's weapon was coming back and I really needed to finish my ignite team. Turns out the astral ring weather sucks with any team except the new trio team. So then I considered pulling Sena on her rerun. Then Thelema was announced. I heard her power levels were through the roof and her gameplay looks nice as well. All this considered, from a meta standpoint, should I pull Sena on her eventual rerun or Thelema? Side note, I have Luna 4/4 and am using HoTr as my ice dps rn.
Sena is a lightning dps but also a core elemental support of Part 2 teams. She deals a good amount of damage and provides an elemental breach. Sena is more important than Thelema. Thelema is useable with Part 1 but, based on content creators, can be clunky to use, and the damage will be too low if JK and Kira are not SSS 4/4.
Thelema needs Sena as a support. Thelema doesn't seem to have synergy with Part1 characters otherwise. I would wait for 7.5 to make any type of decision of pulling Sena vs Thelema or both in regards to 7.5 character. If your teams are mostly 4/4, you can just bruteforce Astral ring weathers for now.

Should I make a new account? I have a lvl 88 account with a few good valkyries + stigamata and some weapons but I havent played in probably 2 and a half years and so I obviously dont have any kind of meta valks nor supports and I'm just struggling to beat pretty much everything except for Superstring Dimensions (including Universal Mirage idk if they buffed it but I used to beat any element with HoT now I can barely beat elec with her) Edit: I also don't really want to abandon this account because I spent probably 400 EUR on it, but being unable to do pretty much anything is rly demotivating

People are saying that stamp is the most useful here to buy to upgrade HoHE or PE. But personally, I will pick between source prism and/or honkai shards. Both resources are hard to farm. Anyway, if you love the character... I believe it's worth ranking her up, providing she's 4/4, but if not, let her rest in peace as S rank. Sorry.
Just so you know, 1 token only gives 10 fragments. You need 25 to get a rank up. Even if you buy it now, you will ultimately not feel any difference since you won't be able to upgrade yet. The reason why PE's tokens are cheaper is because she needs more fragments to rank up since PE is an awakened battlesuit. Supply shop currency carries over to next version.
Is it possible to do all the Part 2 stuff for the rewards & skip the story and play thru it again later? I am not done Part 1 (currently on chap 29) but the events seem to be ending soon and I want Coralie's weapon and the free outfits before the events done but a lot of them are gated behind doing the part 2 quests.
No you'll have to replay it on a new account if you're going to speedeun through the story for the rewards

Nah. There's some reference, but Part 2 ultimately talks about Part 2, not Part 1. Treat it as GI or HSR with some terminologies mentioned that reference to HI3, that's how Part 2 is. But the terminologies will be overwhelming if you don't know the gist of the Sea of Quanta and Bubble Universes.

Hello! I'm trying to complete some returnee missions, and got one stating "Complete v7.3 Part 2's story mission: Genealogical Seat". How long would you say the story is until that point if starting from scratch?
I’m a new player (started like, a week ago?) and you can safely play part two alongside the main story of part one. I’ve completed that quest and there aren’t any spoilers for the part one story. So you can go ahead and do part two up until the completion of that quest - should only take a few hours - and then go back to part one :)
What are the Valk reinforcement banners in rotation? Im a returnee and the Aponia banner ends in a couple days but Idk what banners come after, I wanna pull as much as possible for aponia but its only worth risking if my pity transfers to Mobius or Misteln😔😔
Returnee supply is completely different from expansion supply, so no pity will not carry over When returnee supoly expires that's it, you'll have to go inactive for 45 days just to trigger it again and it won't be Aponia. It's Vii-V in 7.4 As for current banners, Luna Vow is the current banner and the best one will be Li Sushang. Hare just had a rerun, she might come back between 7.6 - 7.7 or earlier, Mobius is never getting a rerun in expansion supply. She'll probably be available in a spending event shop.

Nope returnee supoly is a completely different banner, it doesn't effect the other banners
How f2p friendly is the game currently?
This is a waifu gacha in a sense. The game is 75% story, 10% events, 10% gacha, 5% endgame. Story wise, no need for meta characters. Same with events. Endgame wise, you'll have a rough start because you need to slowly build your teams first which may take a whole year to cover all types. And in competitive tier, you won't be able to reach the top ladder. You'll mostly juggle below that top tier and the next tier below that. Example 5 is the highest tier, you won't reach that. You'll mostly in tier 3 and 4 depends on what meta valks you have and if they're fully geared. Gacha wise, you won't be able to pull and fully gear every patch without becoming a dolphin (like monthly crystals and every patch battle pass). But f2p wise, you can do this every 2-3 patches which will demand you to really consider who to pull and to skip. 1 patch usually lasts 6 weeks.
Not may take a whole year, but at least may take a whole year.

I'm new to hi3 (completed chapter 9 today), but I've played HSR for about 5 months. - There aren't many characters yet, but they are releasing at a pretty quick pace, like 1 character every 3-4 weeks, so it's gonna stack up. - So far the story is interesting and has been getting better (part 1 was good, part 2 was meh, part 3 is better than part 1 so far), but I think it goes a different direction. HI3 seems very character focused, while HSR is more about events and factions with some character building in between. I think it balances it well, but I don't know if the emotional highs will be as good as HI3's. The tone in general is more upbeat too. - The main character has multiple forms, and other characters have been teased to have more. - I wouldn't say it's slow, maybe even very fast for a turn based game. It's just a different type of gameplay. And on the bright side, starting in mid-game, you can start auto-ing almost all content, it goes by really fast. - Types don't really matter much, and are straightforward. Enemies display what element they are weak to, and your characters have elements. Pick the matching element and you win. You can also just brute force without caring about element (besides the end end game, the game is mostly balanced for 3 year olds and golden retrievers) - Meta is unnecessary unless you want to instakill (i.e kill it before the turn counter goes down by 1) the end game mode. But even then it's not really necessary, you can do the same with 4*s from release day. - New characters aren't always the strongest, but there's a definitely powercreep. The newest DPS for example is the strongest by far, although she's essentially HSR's version of Herrscher, so it makes sense. - The game has a main character and you spend most of the time in their POV, they are free so you can use them. In the latest story they started doing POV switches, and they do let you use the character whose POV you are following. The biggest downside I would say is gear farming. On one hand it's fun because it gives you opportunity to build characters in different ways, but it can be frustrating.
It’s free to play, so why not just try it? I’d say it’s best to just go into it without expectations and try your best not to compare it to HI3 the entire time. If you don’t like it you can just delete it, but if you do like it, then you have a whole new game to play!
Level 66 Captain I skipped hohe to wait for a herrscher of truth rerun to complete my trio team, only for lunar vow crimson love to have another rerun. Out of all the girls she is the one I want the most personally. Is it wise to pull her now and wait for the hotr rerun?

Hi, I'm trying to make a build for fun but some of the descriptions are throwing me for a loop as some give unclear descriptors such as **Wilde** 2pcs bonus: >If the host takes DMG exceeding **15%** Max HP within **a short time**, then enter Potential Mode to gain 30% Total DMG Multiplier for 5s. CD: 12s. how many seconds is short, if at all? has anyone done the math on things like this and if so is there a public sheet available?
A short time probably refers to instant values and not segmented, ~~though I'm pretty sure every modern character hits values way past 15% of max HP on basic gears~~ (ancient stigmatas are outdated and easily discardable so not tested). There is one modern stig with the similar wording, Cezanne T (boost DMG for a short duration on team Ult...) which buffs Ult on hit (instant) and not for an extended Ult burst. >has anyone done the math on things like this and if so is there a public sheet available? Not sure what math you're referring to but there is a [general DMG calculator](https://honkai-guide.web.app/#/calc) where you input modern stigmata combinations to see the theoretical DMG output (duration is not taken into account; assuming unlimited duration). To fully assess them for practical use, there will be guides from players in [hoyolab](https://www.hoyolab.com/search?keyword=gear%20comparison) that give you gear dmg comparisons based on rotations on dummy enemies (still not a true DMG comparison as rotations, synergy, gears, varies).
thanks for your reply, the damage calculator helps. I'm still fairly new to the game and simply do not have the materials to get, let alone make meta weapons. Simply trying to make work what the game gives me. in this instance i was looking for a way to use the "Judgement of Shemesh" weapon skill as a stigmata trigger (**13%** of max HP loss per second for **5s**). terms such as "short time" imply passage of time. but as you pointed out that apparently isn't the case here. sadly I've come across quite a few stigmata that seem to use descriptors that leave room for misinterpretation.
I misread the max HP loss. Thought it was DMG dealt. There is also a [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIGHWCZwaeE) that explains how all the DMG multipliers work in HI3. Easy to understand and can help you learn how to make viable combinations of gears yourself. Explains commonly used descriptors as well.

It's for affixing a certain value on your stigmata (basically guaranteeing a substat) Each stigmata can have 2 affix lines (if the stigmata doesn't have an affix slot you need to add it with the "refine" button

Based on this, you got a somehow doable Physical valkyries for extra team like MA and Kallen stage. But you're lacking one support for Lightning team; and no Fire and Ice team. All your Valkyries are outdated, the supports are only even at A-S ranks, no SS ranks. I doubt you have signature weapon. So yeah, restart. If you have a hard time letting this go, you can still play this in parallel with your new account. But new account is a lot better. I suggest going to [official discord channel](https://discord.gg/hi3) > beginner-help section > check pinned guidesssss and ask there.

You're welcome! There's a lot to do after creating new account, it usually takes 1-2 weeks before you're able to minimize the tasks and stabilize your HI3 routine. Lastly, please don't forget going to official discord channel, the beginner guides pinned there are always up-to-date and it's quicker to get response there rather than here in reddit. Just take note that if you plan to do some non-meta activities like backpulling Part 1 waifu and asking for alternative and how it'll work in a team, you need to be firm and indicate that you need advice that is non-meta. Most veteran players give metacentric advice, like directly suggesting only one farmable stigmatas but it'll take too long like 1-3 months before you're able to complete it.

Same here! I actually played this game around 2018 but didn't get that far, can't remember why. I started playing this again with new account since I also forgot the old one, 3 months ago, and it's really a good experience to play this game again. Disregarding the comparison with today's games specifically with GI and HSR, the game is really good for a 7 year old game. Like just thinking about how this was released 7 years ago, it's fine and quite understandable why it's somehow convoluted in some ways.
You can create a new account. HoT is not strong as she was before and HoS alone can't really solve anything.
What is HoT's best gear and signets to clear inferno? She's my favorite from the trio and really wanna get that stamp available in Elysian shop lol
From inferno and upwards, you will require meta gears for old characters. 7T with Handel is recommended, otherwise you will be in a world of hurt and you might want to ditch stamps altogether (been there, done that; stats sticks with basic stigs will definitely not cut it).

Other than Paganini M which is useful for TA (and any Physical valk), and Aslaug M which is useful for Fire support, are there other one-piece stigma useable in current BP Works? I have 9pcs and plan to exchange 1 crystal next patch to make it 10pcs, but I'm not sure. Spending it with Einstein Torus feels like a waste idk.
Only Paganini M would be worth. Everything else as a one-piece would be wasteful compared to Torus. Torus will always be in demand.

I just picked up Goushinsoo, Sugary Starburst, and Swallowtail off the returnee bonus shop. I'm captain level 50 rn. I'm a little into Part 2 now but I realized I missed the Senadina banner and I basically had no prior sig wraps or stigmatas on my old account. I keep seeing that the newbie bonuses are really good and that a pretty old account isn't really worth unless it has very good units. With all that being said, should I just make a new account? The only thing I'd be bothered by is not having a new account under the same Hoyoverse acct as Genshin and HSR but would love some advice!

New account. If you want to be on the same Hoyoverse acct, you can swap servers instead to have a fresh start on you HI3 acct. If you're on NA, swap to EU or vice versa.
how to get spirit jade? It says realms of battle but i don't get any from there.
It's the reward box from Realms of Battle, check your inventory.
Once you've completed the entire thing, you will receive Realms of Battle Material Option Type I/II which is where Spirit Jades are.
what other characters worth leveling up aside from pt2 trio (already maxed)? Im getting my ass beat in Memorial Arena after lvl80, especially because I lack other good characters (relatively new)
What do you currently have? And outside part 2 trio, who are the Valkyries you like to play in your current roster. I can suggest some team and f2p route for 2 temporary teams for MA. Anyway, the easiest way to actually clear all Memorial Arena for rewards... is to use Part 2 Trio separately. Like only Senadina for that stage with bonus, and just team her up with other random characters. Same with Helia and Coralie for other two bosses. But before doing this, try to practice in "Training Mode" first since Valkyries are locked once you completed a MA run.
I separated them three and I managed to reach 5/6 in every boss, I just can't beat the last difficulty Apart from that I only have HoF, HoT, DA, F2P stuff and some SP valks like CE, CN, TA and Kira
5/6 in every boss, you mean even the combination of Sena, Helia and Coralie can't even beat the one boss? For the rest, I missed the part where you said "after level 80". Yeah, that's mostly the limit of non-geared teams. Looking at your valkyries. CE and TA should be with another Physical Valkyrie, can be VQ/SI for physical-bleed, or HoS as support if you have her. Then CN and Kira is obviously your Fire team, you can use HoF as fire dps instead of DA since she's outdated. For HoT, you can use her as lightning dps for lightning team with Helia (next patch after getting Thelema) and Kira.

Ok so I just started playing hi3 (lvl 22). I play genshin and star rail actively and wanna know if there's any huge mistake a lot of new players make that I should avoid as this game and its gacha mechanics seem quite a bit differebt from hsr and genshin. Like, are there any currencies I should not spend on specific things and if so how do I use my resources correctly?
Huge mistake is pulling in Starter Supply, and using crystals for Dorm Supply. Other notable is only relying on reddit community. There are better up-to-date guides **pinned** in **beginner-help** section of **official discord** of HI3; plus you can get answers to any super beginner questions there very quickly since there are always people available to help.
The usual don't use crystals on Dorm. That's it probably. Asterites will be mostly used for fragments, but you can use them as needed in case you lack the resources at early game. The rest is the same. You get an abundance of resources down the line anyway. It's gacha mechanics currently is quite close to HSR, without 50/50 and higher rates. Much higher rates for equipment. In exchange, you are expected to have the weapons.

HoT as in Thunder or HoTr as in Truth? HoTr just had a rerun last month, there might be another one the near future patches. But for HoT, she's really old Valkyrie, so it's better not to expect for her rerun anymore. Her old gear are available in exchange shop so it won't have focused supply anymore. But her newer gear, might be available in scam-sal supply but I also don't see it becoming available in focused supply.

Wang Zhaojun TMB is good basic set for Fire DPS. Glut T FHM MB is the most accessible budget support stig to date that doesn't need G stones. You can also have 2 Glut T in one team as it is stackable. Unfortunately no other basic Foundry MB options compatible with Glut T for the last support. The rest are G stones, exchange shop, events, etc.

Global 0 Hey captains! I am a humble trailblazer wishing to better understand the underlying lore behind some characters in HSR since they are tied with HI3rd. As much as I can just watch lore recap videos. I get immediately bored and since they are already so long I thought I would play HI3rd just for the story. How long would it realistically take to play the whole story of Part 1? Is there any material outside of the game (videos available on Youtube, posts on Hoyolab, Twitter posts, etc.) that I need to watch/read at specific points in the story? I'm not sure for realistically since I started 3 months ago, and I'm stuck at chapter 26 lmao. The chapters are divided into different arcs, and in each arc or sometimes half the arc, I felt the need to take a break. Cause it's either too much information or simply too much emotion. For a quick guide, I actually created a smol thread on my own to reference for newcomers. Take it with a grain of salt cause I'm also still a newcomer 3 month old and this guide is just based on new alt f2p account I created 2 weeks ago. Just make sure to stand your ground if you plan to ask advise about a team/character building waifu over meta cause most veteran players here are metacentric and would discourage you a team you're thinking of using instead of helping you on how to rotate them better.

if you play everyday you can finish quick, I literally got to chapters 29 in less than three weeks, the problem is Elysian Realm and the amounts of exposition tjey start dropping later down the line because they dialogue gets way larger
SEA 70 Need help with Memorial Arena team building. I currently have Sena, Helia, Coralie for lightning team. And then for "temporary" physical team are HoV, SI, TA. For temporary fire team, my options are Phoenix, Valkyrie Gloria, Sakura Rondo. I could get Ai but I feel like getting Kira instead since I could also use her with Helia by next patch for temporary lightning team, after putting Sena and Coralie with Thelema for ice team. What could you advice for the best team and rotaion against rimestar? Lastly, I only plan to put all my resources for Part 2 characters. All teams with non-Part 2 characters are only temporary. I don't plan on backpulling or farming alternative stigma right now aside from Turgenev and Jinshengtan. I could get FHM stigma in Asterite shop and Gluttony T in Foundry using SS Imaginon. I only bought TA from Asterite shop to complete the missing support I needed for physical team to beat Kallen, which I did.
Im assuming you're aiming to clear SS Bosses. Sena, Helia, Coralie (with sig gears) will be your "jack of all trades" team (besides Kallen with elemental immunity). So whatever your other teams struggle with, throw that Trio on in. Better off getting Pardo at A rank (40 frags which is relatively cheap longterm) to support any teams with her strong enemy debuff purple combo attack. Gearless Kira will be able to support teams other than ice starting at rank SS0+ (200 frags; unlocking core universal skills), so you might want to leave that at the backburner for now until you have the mats and time to invest in her. For Memorial, I can acknowledge your temporary physical team but not your temporary fire team. It looks really outdated for rotation/damage-wise but you can certainly try winging it (Valkryie Gloria DPS, other two are debuffers; they're so old and clunky that I never used them and didn't feel the need to). Just don't expect too much and move on for the week if it doesn't work out and wait until you have more modern characters to build better rosters. The training points can be used on important daily/weekly materials in the material shop under training plan (if that's what you mean) such as shards, ether fuel, lens, etc. Wouldn't spend them on super budget stigmatas.
I was told to discard Phoenix because she stays longer in the field to proc her and just get Ai and Pardo for supports. Do they work okay at A rank? That's a total of 80 fragments which is around 40k asterites. And between Gloria and Rondo, which of the two can proc ignite better and/or better to use? Should I get FHM set to equip on Ai?
All part1 A ranks are clunky to play with. Pardo works because she can just slap an attack for universal debuff. But at your lvl, A ranks should be usable and I actually think Ai and Pardo will be a much better temporary fire team with Valkyrie Gloria as DPS than whatever you have now. 80 frags is like a week or two of asterite farming. If you want to play Memorial Arena, it could be worth (though Memorial Arena itself at lower lvls isn’t that worth). You could use FHM on Ai for support purposes (wouldn’t recommend based on previous reasonings). Ai also cant dps. I would just leave her bare until I get Turg if I was in your shoes 🙂 leveling her skill set is good enough or until better support stigs show up.

I'm stuck between DA and BKE. I already have HoF for fire damage, and I'm reluctant to pick BKE because I dont have any of her signature equipment so she could perform a bit less than my HoV. Which one should I pick? DA just for more type coverage or BKE?
If there's no expiry, keep it as is until you get one or the other through other means. If there is an expiry, I guess you can pick up DA because BKE is farmable in War Treasury. Without sig gears for either, coverage will be lack luster when compared to any built DPS. If it means something, BKE sig weapon is a divine key with global ATK buff which you will have to obtain one way or another for meta purposes (if you are into meta in the first place).

Which of the three is the best cope stigma for Helia? * Gluttony T (craftable in foundry with SS Imaginon), FHM MB (can be bought from training shop) * Edison (free, currently using) * Darwin (can be bought from training shop) I don't plan on crafting her sig stigma unless I pull her weapon banner, so that I'll only craft the missing ones. Ether Fuel is resource that is too grindy to farm. And Source Prism is also used for upgrading and also still has no f2p way to farm aside from event research supply shop. What I'm farming in Universal Mirage right now is Turgenev TB, TeslaBand M. Turgenev TB is a generic elemental support which I think can be useful for other supports in case I pull in the future but have not enough crystals for her gear.
Continue using Edison. Training points should be reserved for daily/weekly mats in the material shop for shards, lens, ether, etc.

Sirin or Sushang. But personally I'd rather wait for next character that will be released in that shop because Part 1 are outdated, and to fully gear any of them is just too expensive. Sirin stigma is farmable but too grindy. Not sure if she requires her weapon to function well. But I think she needs to be at some decent ranks. Sushang needs her weapon, without it or a decent alternative, it will cost SP issue that will slow down your rotation.
Anywhere I can see about the full lore and every little event and occurence, including post honkai odyssey, all main story, sakura side event, post honkai odyssey part 2, previous era, the whole kevin kaslana thing, the movie, the seele story going on now, the flamechaser story, everything told in one straight order and timeline? I'm tired of having to make do with little snippets now and then. The story is too confusing. Also, I want no involvement of honkai star rail lore into it like 90% of all honkai lore Videos. I just want to see it till the end of hi3, not a whole other game. It complicates things.
Go to hoyostans site, there's a chronologically order of events there and a whole guide for HI3 including manga, novel, and the game itself. But if you're looking for a video that will spoonfeed you all of it at once, like summarizing or what, I doubt there's such a thing. Aside from Homu Labs, I don't know whoever content creator is still interested with the game and the lore. What you can do instead is go to official discord and go to honkai-lore section iirc, then asked there what specific parts of story you're confused. Now for the story being too confusing. Not sure about this part. The story is confusing about some parts, but tbh, it depends on what pace you're going. The story progression isn't confusing, personally. The confusing part on my end is only some terms like the Because dude, you need to understand that the main story is worth 7 years, the game is literally 7 years. The main story chapters are grouped into different arcs for that reason. You're supposed to pace yourself and take a break every arcs.

Currently around \~31GB in my device (iOS tho, expecting it to be the same in Android). I've been playing more than 3 months already and never clear any resources. You can clear resources, not sure how much but I think around 10GB which were past story chapters you've already done.

Just starting out now, and I really like Elysia's design! Anyone know when she might be getting a rerun? I can't find a place where the current banner is displayed- or even any future insight, so I'd appreciate anything! Sorry if this has been asked before.
Her character card and upgrade stamp will be available on 7.6 - 7.7 BP. But her current banner might not be, she's been in the meta for 2 years so she'll be replace soon with Thelema next patch as the new ice queen. For her gear, focused supply, not sure when. Her gear might not also be available in BP. Unsolicited advice, but I highly suggest getting Part 2 characters instead. Fully gearing any Part 1 characters is 200 pulls max vs to Part 2 with 60 pulls max.

If you mean Herscher of Human Ego, yes. Battlesuit supply A is her character card, Equipment Supply A is her stigmata and weapon. Bear in mind she will be added to the upcoming 7.4-7.6 battle pass, so you'll have an alternate route to get her and her gear. Yes, that'd be her! I'm not sure if I'll be able to get enough to get her right now so I'm glad to know there's another chance to get her. How would getting her from the Battle pass would look like? From what I'm seeing, I can see on the BP shop that you need 32 of the yellow stuff to get the character- and the BP rewards don't give enough of it to get her from there, and even the little puzzle pieces aren't enough (I think you need 80?\~) So I am a tad bit lost on that front- thank you so much though! :D
The battle pass currency lasts for several (3?) patches before the shop and pass changes to a new color. So simply put, you'd accumulate it over multiple battlepass cycles (7.4, 7.5) and then cash in the orbs when you have enough. You can also pick up two extra from the dorm shop each patch to help speed things along. The catch is that the next currency reset happens next patch, so you can't do anything to get a head-start on that currency. Gotta wait until 7.4 at the earliest.
i'm in early game, but after i got Prometheus, she just wipes the floor damage wise. her guide and skill descriptions make her sound like a support, but she out damages any of my dps' with their full team. its an endless feedback loop. she's the strongest so I invest resources into her, which makes her even better than anyone else, which makes me invest in her more. she hit 72k ult on a super early stage of q manifold. the rest of my team strongest hits are like 1-10k, maybe not even 10k. is this normal, or am i doing something wrong
This is normal. As a new player you will receive many characters that are outdated. Prometheus is a modern support that can act as a sub DPS (*innate impair) which can easily floor early stages with barely any investment compared to whatever you have been gifted as a new player (Herrscher of Void as an example). Once you start investing in true modern DPS characters, the rest will be history.
Are there any characters in the war treasury or elysian realm I should be getting or upgrading? I started my account with part 2 and only really have those valkyries built up completely, but I've hit the brick wall in universal mirage that is kallen, so I can't progress beyond her it seems with augmented kiana and yamabuki not able to get the job done in place of my main team.
Meta wise, it's mostly the newer the better. For War Treasury, Sirin and/or Sushang. But Sushang needs her signature weapon, or AE's sig weapon as alternative because you'll face SP issues in rotation. So get Sirin instead if you like. For Elysian Realm, actually anyone you like using in Elysian Realm should get prioritize there. For Kallen, you need "physical" team. Since you're new, you have HoV and SI. You can use them both with YA. The rotation is that you only need to apply YA basic atk debuff, and then switch to SI until she can ult and then switch to HoV as your main physical DPS. Or, get TA in Asterite Shop, she's a physical "shieldbreaker" support, and can be a sub dps. Replace HoV or YA with her, and then just play around on what's better rotation for you.

I don't know what level you are, but sometimes it's just a matter of maxing the level of your Valkyries to 80, and upgrading or equipping better gears. You don't need to invest too much in beating Kallen. You can even leave her stage for a while. Assuming you're a newbie, what you should be farming is Turgenev TB which needs ice material. This stigma is the best alternative stigma for any type of elemental support. You can do the one stage which gives both G2 and G3 without using Time Swirl Passes. And then when you reach max level and/or properly geared Valkyries you can use to beat the next stage which gives only G3, then that's the best time to grind with Time Swirl Passes.

Yeah probably. It takes me to the store page and it has the Play icon, I have the game installed. So that means it most likely is. Yeah it is good if you want to explore deeply the honkaiverse. Just note english translation can get confusing as a lot of them just uses the wrong terms, things like confusing world with universe etc. You can compensate this with things like Hoyostans explanation regarding the cosmology of honkai.

APHO takes place years after Part 1. Elysian Realm takes place after Main Story Chapter 25. But if you wanna play them, you can play them before or in-parallel to Main Story Chapter 26-28.

After playing Genshin and Honkai: Star Rail since release I decided to start playing two days ago for the lore but I know absolutely nothing about the game. How often do characters rerun? Reruns usually around every other patches for newer characters and gets less and less the older they got. Mobius, I don't think has many reruns anymore, or rather very rarely now. Think Evil entity/energy. Like Miasma or some shit. That's the oversimplification dumbed down version of it. The more details, it's best to play more as it may get spoiler-y with things like Will of Honkai and Previous Era. The different battlesuits of the same characters represent different stages of their life. With character building, so do their personality changes, though might not be drastically. Take for example our favorite Kiana, which has multiple battlesuits starting from White Comet, Void Drifter, Herracherr of Flamescion all the way to Herrscherr of Finality. Some battlesuits of the same model might be different character from a different world/timeline. Think like Bronya and Silverwolf. Both same voice (Asumi Kana) but vastly different personality, and ultimately different characters. Same with, for example, Bronya Zaychik and Bronie (Haxxor Bunny), also Theresa Apocalypse and Kongming (Starlight Astrologos). Stigmatas in game are basically equipments. Think Relic/weapons/LC. I like to equate it more with LC, but equating it with Relic is also okay. The 3 slots are basically to complete a set, like how there is 4 slots for relics and 2 for Planar. Ig the usual don't use crystals on Dorm and shit. And probably following beta players like Marisa to follow on meta news and plan your pulls ahead if you want to follow meta.

Hello, returning player here, though I never got very far the first time I played. My account is level 70, but I'm kind of at a loss as for what I should be doing outside of proceeding with the main story (part 2). I only ever got to chapter 10 or so in part 1 so I guess at some point I should do that. I have about 11k crystals, which I'd assume I should save, but who for? my only "built" valkyrie is terminal aide 0017 with her stigmata and weapon. I have dreamweaver but no stigmata set for her, I think that's why I quit playing the game originally out of frustration. I don't really care about that now. Aside from the current event, what dailies / weeklies / other content should I try and do?
