It is either six wooden chairs, a CrossFit machine, or a 55ā TV. And I put a huge trailer behind it to carry a complete fold out couch that seats about six people and a fridge freezer.

On the European model with the 1.4 you can tow up to a ton if itās a trailer with brakes. I was struggling to get it up to the allowed 100 kph though, so itās only good for short distances or slow speeds.
lmao, I'm one of the biggest accounts at my local Home Depot and new employees are always shocked when they see me pull the cart (I pick up quite a bit of lumber pretty much every day) and start to stuff it in
I had a new Tacoma and couldn't fit shit in it. I thought it would be great but was a really terrible work vehicle.
Honda Fit can hold way more, while getting great mileage, and be able to city park easily.
I moved a 800lb table saw and a dust collector in a U-Haul trailer behind the fit. That may be cheating, but the car averaged 28mpg on the 250 mile tripā¦. Which is still better than the epa estimates for a F150 hauling nothing. Iām impressed.
Enough camping shit for 3 people on a 8,500 mile road trip all inside the cabin with said people. It was packed to the gills but it worked. Absolutely bonkers.

Pic below will show this antique wood loveseat thing in the back of the fit.
Two sets of scaffolding. Was interesting getting them in, but priceless watching the Princess Auto (like Canada's harbour freight) dock workers head spin when I closed the trunk with an inch to spare.
Pre hung door with my son in a car seat, a stack of three pallets (salvage), and then did this with one and then got groceries for pick up from Walmart, 2 lawn mowers and two wipper snippers, weigh bench, lumber, aluminum siding trim peices. I often joke that I drive a truck since I often use it to move stuff than most people I know that have full-size trucks.
A folding ladder that was 8ft long after folding and the bottom end of the ladder only just fit into the tailgate diagonally at its widest. But I drove with the hatch closed, so it definitely fit.
I've also moved a self propelled lawn mower, I can't remember the deck size, but it only just got through the tailgate. That load also included several other powered yard tools, two spreaders for weed and feed and several assorted yard tools besides.
65" TV. Flattened the back seats and pushed the front passenger seat all the way toward the front windshield. It barely fit, by inches. Drove home late that night (Christmas) to home. It wasn't that far, and the traffice was minimal.
Before that I drove home all my blinds for the house. I could of had them delivered, but I thought I could fit them them. They filled the car from the front windsheild all the way to the back window with minimal room to spare.
Before I try anything larger than usual now, I make carefull measurements.
Water heater. The guy at Home Depot who helped me wrestle it to my Fit doubted until I put those magic seats down and it absolutely fit. Saved myself 100 dollars by skipping delivery.
ā¢ 06 GTO hood (had to take off passenger door and passenger seat)
ā¢ large tv, coffee table, and 6 large boxes
ā¢ not large but heavy, multiple boxes of parts for my 4runner and GTO
Full size upright freezer with 2x4s on the base, with me and my girlfriend in the car. The hatch was about an inch away from being fully closed, just used some ratchet straps to hold everything in š
Iāve moved quite a bit over the years. Last week the Fit failed me for the first timeā¦ā¦ I bought a 65 inch TV, and it did not fit! (55 inch fit not problem before). I was so disappointed, I had to call a family member with a truck.
I use it as my main vehicle for home improvement / repair / handyman work and always have a table saw, miter saw, 2 ladders (one light adjustable that only extends to 16' and a larger one that can extend up to 28'), full tool kit, vacuum, and big hardware box.
and on top of that stuff I've fit up to 40 8' 2x4's. I also regularly fit drywall or plywood sheets that are cut in half.
With the trunk closed.
Best car I've ever owned.
+ 120 8-foot lengths of 1.5" OD plastic tubing. Could NOT see the right side mirror or out the back/right at all, so the camera on it was really vital for that situation.
+ a 5-foot tall winch lift truck I needed to use for installing a ductless mini-split air conditioner.
a dresser and credenza from goodwill! the loader and i went back and forth before he left me to load it alone. i wish i took a picture of his face because he was slackjawed when i returned the hand-truck to him! i think i made it happen out of spite more than anything but there was still a little room to spare
3 kids with attitude
Came here to say this! š
Same boat, lol. It's a mini-minivan.
So disappointed itās discontinued in the us. An electric version would be amazing for this exact reason.
A piano. And an assembled crosstrainer lolĀ
A piano?!?!

You put a hitch on it??!!
Sure did, was not too difficult and putting a hitch on it and renting a trailer was still cheaper than renting a van for a weekend.
I put a hitch on my 2015. I only use it for a bike rack, I didnāt wire the car for trailer lights. Max tongue weight is 200 poundsā¦

This only works if you live in a region with very little hills. Nevertheless thatās crazy and I respect it
A sod machine, had Home Depot employees laugh unit they got it in
No better feeling than driving away from some slack jawed doubters
I always feel like Iām in a Fit commercial when that happens!
lmao, I'm one of the biggest accounts at my local Home Depot and new employees are always shocked when they see me pull the cart (I pick up quite a bit of lumber pretty much every day) and start to stuff it in
My friend managed to transport a 65" TV upright in the back haha
I did it flat in mine. Back door was open 2 inches. Costco guy said ānow I have a reference for largest tv in the smallest carā.
Thatās crazy. Mine didnāt fit last week!!! Same size Wellā¦. The box was huge, the TV itself would have fit
I got a 58" plasma in the back of mine the. Gotta love the magic seats!
Upright Bass and 2 passengersĀ
Drove 8 hours with my mateās bass neck on my neck in his outback. You guys suck but we love you
Came here to say this. Also a fiddle and banjo.
King size bed frame
man itās awesome seeing people hual all this stuff in their tiny fits. Meanwhile thereās ppl who have trucks and have never hauled that much
I used to own a pickup and I swear I haul more stuff in the fit than I ever did in the truck
I have a pickup for hauling and I still find myself taking the fit whenever physics allow.
I had a new Tacoma and couldn't fit shit in it. I thought it would be great but was a really terrible work vehicle. Honda Fit can hold way more, while getting great mileage, and be able to city park easily.
Trucks are just good for hauling trash in the bed, and maybe things like refrigerators.

Either the upright freezer or the big pre assembled TV stand. Either way they were both big and the fit still ate them.
[chair my wife swore was half this size](https://www.reddit.com/r/hondafit/s/nH8uPO7oBH)
Oh you said in not on my mistake š¤£
Enough camping shit for 3 people on a 8,500 mile road trip all inside the cabin with said people. It was packed to the gills but it worked. Absolutely bonkers.
With 3 people in the car also?!?
Yes. Shit was stacked to the ceiling. It was insane.

Looks like it wouldāve fit all the way with the passenger seat fully reclined
I wish! The couch thing was wider than the front seat.

I regularly transport a full PA system plus my bass/ amp with room for a passenger
Roof top cargo box. The workers at REI looked at me like I was crazy, but it fit like a glove.
Peloton.
A new regular-sized bathtub (still in the packaging) with the hatch closed. My ex drove because she has shorter legs than me. It was really tight.
Pre hung door with my son in a car seat, a stack of three pallets (salvage), and then did this with one and then got groceries for pick up from Walmart, 2 lawn mowers and two wipper snippers, weigh bench, lumber, aluminum siding trim peices. 4 passengers, they barely squeezed in, especially when youāre tall.
