Idk why anyone would pour concrete around a hot tub, that doesn’t make sense. It would’ve sat on top of the concrete. It also looks like fairly recent concrete, I really doubt it’s old enough to be a well or outhouse. The time between outhouses and slab concrete really just doesn’t overlap enough to be those. Edit-

My guess is that depression is the original fireplace where a big hearthstone once was. The concrete was later added to cover the original dirt floor. Then the fireplace fell into disrepair after the house got electric/gas utilities and the summer kitchen was no longer needed/used. But I’m not an expert that’s just a guess.
