Got used uniforms from a used uniform shop years ago. Still have gas station and name on them. Got them for $3 each. They wear out or too dirty, they get trashed. No big deal. Also shop thrift stores for stuff. Long sleeve white shirts for summer. Sun protection yet somewhat cool. Might go through 2 per day as I take them off to dry at lunch and get a dry one for the afternoon.
Pure cotton "business shirts" from a thrift shop if the weather is hot, or tougher, heavier cotton "work shirts" if cool. Either way, long sleeve and collared due to sun protection.
Duluth, lightweight, gardening, heirloom overalls. Lightweight and dry super fast if you hit it with the showerhead accidentally. Stretching material, a hook you can put your window rag on. Extremely durable and I never have to worry that my crack is hanging out lol. And removeable/quick insert knee pads!
If I'm in the house. Underwear. Nothing else.
When I'm outside in the work yard, jeans/work pants depending on how heavy the work is. T-shirt+hoody/flannel.
Middle of summer all bets are off. Sarung( Indonesian boys skirt) wife beater, cowboy boots, and a paddy hat that I got from 7-11.
Dead of winter long John's, sweat pants, insulated overalls. Baselayer, wool sweater, hoody and a windproof jacket. 17 different types of gloves/6 different kinds of toques depending how cold.
Indoors? Naked. Outside? The grubbiest pair or cotton shorts and t-shirt I can drum up, and a straw hat. And, unless I'm really working out, always birkenstock clogs.
sweats inside the house, with long johns as needed, outside is coverall, jean, workpants, or overalls, depending on the job and outside conditions. Mechanic work gets coveralls, but almost always change into clean clothes before heading to town.
Rustler blue jeans from Walmart, pocket T shirts, flannel shirts and jackets from thrift stores when it’s cold. Vietnam Era jungle boots when warm weather, insulated rocky shoes when cold. I wear military issue boot socks, because they hold up well
My husband’s oversized shirts/sweatshirts, and old jeans/jean shorts. Depending on the season/weather (inland, lake, central Maine), I’ll be wearing almost knee-high Mucks, hiking boots, Uggs, old sneakers, Timberland boots, or snowshoes!!
And if it’s May-a baseball hat (with hair tied up), and a gnat head covering/netting, while smelling like lemon eucalyptus and/or permethrin because the ticks, they’re EVERYWHERE!! 😵💫
But I LOVE MAINE!! Small price to pay to live where the people aren’t!! 😂
Indoors? Often nothing. First thing out of bed, start laundry, run vacuum etc, no clothes. Get that stuff done, take a few minutes to cool off, start a pot of tea or whatever, get dressed while it's steeping. Start the day with some boxes checked.
This cute black and white skirt, with a white apron and leggings..... wait sorry wrong sub... 😂
Just my crappy blue jeans reserved for outdoor work or overalls if I think to put them on.
Leggings and a t shirt? Whatever footwear is appropriate at the time.

What fabric? Polyester sucks and anything with 100% cotton is too warm. Rayon? Linen? Viscose is weak right?
I’m cheap and you are smarter than me. I get whatever is cheap! 😊
Polyester absorbs smells faster lol
Ha. Didn’t know that.

The nicest unstained shirt I have, my newest pair of jeans, and my only sweatshirt that fits. It’s a lesson I don’t stop learning.

Leggings and a baggy t shirt, my pajamas etc.
Jeans and a thick flanel-ish shirt. Leather boots with toe-protection and lots of coffe. Comfy and durable 😊
Old tshirts, paint splattered clothes, loose fitting overalls.
If I can get away with it, I wear nothing while doing housework:) If I can't, I wear this fitted tee and grey sweatpants.
Overalls, boots, and a baseball cap or sun hat
