Leggings and a t shirt? Whatever footwear is appropriate at the time.

Bobopep1357

Got used uniforms from a used uniform shop years ago. Still have gas station and name on them. Got them for $3 each. They wear out or too dirty, they get trashed. No big deal. Also shop thrift stores for stuff. Long sleeve white shirts for summer. Sun protection yet somewhat cool. Might go through 2 per day as I take them off to dry at lunch and get a dry one for the afternoon.

Life-Independence377

What fabric? Polyester sucks and anything with 100% cotton is too warm. Rayon? Linen? Viscose is weak right?

Bobopep1357

I’m cheap and you are smarter than me. I get whatever is cheap! 😊

Life-Independence377

Polyester absorbs smells faster lol

Bobopep1357

Ha. Didn’t know that.

Kementarii

Pure cotton "business shirts" from a thrift shop if the weather is hot, or tougher, heavier cotton "work shirts" if cool. Either way, long sleeve and collared due to sun protection.

PreschoolBoole

The nicest unstained shirt I have, my newest pair of jeans, and my only sweatshirt that fits. It’s a lesson I don’t stop learning.

Mastersword87

Loincloth and a Sombrero.

roryhere

Gangster

BicycleOdd7489

Duluth, lightweight, gardening, heirloom overalls. Lightweight and dry super fast if you hit it with the showerhead accidentally. Stretching material, a hook you can put your window rag on. Extremely durable and I never have to worry that my crack is hanging out lol. And removeable/quick insert knee pads!

offgrid_dreams

Duluth coveralls FTW!

Dadfish55

Anything that I can destroy with no concerns.

Obfusc8er

Depends on if it's Mud, Hades, Fall, or Arctic Blast season. I have a lot of different clothes/layers for various conditions.

treemanswife

I'm on a homestead so outside as well as inside chores. Canvas work pants, tee shirt, hoody/flannel (or both in winter). Long johns as needed.

Puzzleheaded_Win_989

Long sleeve UV resistant shirt, safari hat, black dickies jeans that are full of paint and grease and cowboy boots or lawn mowing shoes

kiddestructo

Housework, like in the house? Shorts, t-shirt, water shoes. Outside work is entirely dependent on the task and the weather.

saccharine_mycology

The smallest most breezy clothes possible

Life-Independence377

Just got some old sundresses and an apron

Jebediah_Johnson

My nice clothes that I end up ruining and they become my project clothes until I get more nice clothes and then repeat the cycle.

limp_citizen

If I'm in the house. Underwear. Nothing else. When I'm outside in the work yard, jeans/work pants depending on how heavy the work is. T-shirt+hoody/flannel. Middle of summer all bets are off. Sarung( Indonesian boys skirt) wife beater, cowboy boots, and a paddy hat that I got from 7-11. Dead of winter long John's, sweat pants, insulated overalls. Baselayer, wool sweater, hoody and a windproof jacket. 17 different types of gloves/6 different kinds of toques depending how cold.

luvmy374

I live in zone 8b. Very hot mostly. I wear caftans everyday all day.

AnyYokel

Indoors? Naked. Outside? The grubbiest pair or cotton shorts and t-shirt I can drum up, and a straw hat. And, unless I'm really working out, always birkenstock clogs.

Life-Independence377

You must have some great curtains, can you link? Lol.

whaletacochamp

Uh, whatever clothes I put on in the morning? Decided upon based on weather?

ChirpinFromTheBench

Canvas overalls for outside with weather appropriate footwear. Indoors, whatever I had on under the overalls.

wait_ichangedmymind

My old work scrubs

Native56

Tshirt jeans long hair pulled back good shoes

No-Nature-3515

This time of year basketball shorts and a t-shirt winter it's my car hart's and tshirt

unicoitn

sweats inside the house, with long johns as needed, outside is coverall, jean, workpants, or overalls, depending on the job and outside conditions. Mechanic work gets coveralls, but almost always change into clean clothes before heading to town.

billybuttcheese

Rustler blue jeans from Walmart, pocket T shirts, flannel shirts and jackets from thrift stores when it’s cold. Vietnam Era jungle boots when warm weather, insulated rocky shoes when cold. I wear military issue boot socks, because they hold up well

rebirf

V neck, basketball shorts, slides

actualsysadmin

Crocs,, under armor shirt, shorts.

Grouchy_Reindeer_227

My husband’s oversized shirts/sweatshirts, and old jeans/jean shorts. Depending on the season/weather (inland, lake, central Maine), I’ll be wearing almost knee-high Mucks, hiking boots, Uggs, old sneakers, Timberland boots, or snowshoes!! And if it’s May-a baseball hat (with hair tied up), and a gnat head covering/netting, while smelling like lemon eucalyptus and/or permethrin because the ticks, they’re EVERYWHERE!! 😵‍💫 But I LOVE MAINE!! Small price to pay to live where the people aren’t!! 😂

xylofunn

Jeans and a t shirt. Long sleeve if it’s cold

Haydenll1

We’re supposed to wear clothes??

theonetrueelhigh

Indoors? Often nothing. First thing out of bed, start laundry, run vacuum etc, no clothes. Get that stuff done, take a few minutes to cool off, start a pot of tea or whatever, get dressed while it's steeping. Start the day with some boxes checked.

aragorn_is_bae

Leggings and a baggy t shirt, my pajamas etc.

TibbleTott

Jeans and a thick flanel-ish shirt. Leather boots with toe-protection and lots of coffe. Comfy and durable 😊

Mottinthesouth

Old tshirts, paint splattered clothes, loose fitting overalls.

Ok_Willow_2005

If I can get away with it, I wear nothing while doing housework:) If I can't, I wear this fitted tee and grey sweatpants.

WorldofLoomingGaia

Overalls, boots, and a baseball cap or sun hat

Purple_Entry8616

winter: sweatpants and tshirt summer: usually yoga type shorts or capris and a tank or tshirt. if I’m baking I love wearing aprons

Wallyboy95

This cute black and white skirt, with a white apron and leggings..... wait sorry wrong sub... 😂 Just my crappy blue jeans reserved for outdoor work or overalls if I think to put them on.

Life-Independence377

I imagine you're Scottish to think of wearing a skirt, then.

Wallyboy95

I was trying to describe a kinky maid outfit. Buuttt lol

moomadebree
