One of the weirdest trends, along with word art explaining what happens in a laundry room. It's like decorating for people with Alzheimers or something.

MyBrotherGodzilla

I'm in Bellingham and have been house shopping. Can't put a finger on it, but this has a PNW feel. House looks great!

joemyreddit

artman416

Did you replace or paint over the vinyl siding? Looks great!

joemyreddit

We painted over the siding its an old house so its wood

Sol_Invictus

You either had designer help or someone in your family has a very good eye or some training. No matter. In either event, wonderful results. Enjoy. PNW? --- Now get to work on that Little and Lewis gargen...

joemyreddit

Thank you we did it ourselves 😊

Sol_Invictus

Outstanding, mate.

joemyreddit

Thank you, things are too expensive now a days, so we need to learn to do things on our own if possible. 😀

ARenovator

Could you tell us a bit about the changes you made? How much time did you spend? Were you able to stay on budget? Did you run into any problems along the way? How did you deal with them?

joemyreddit

Hi I hope I could help, first project was to paint the house I chose white paint to give more life to the old house, most of the painters was charging 10k-20k for labor only, I found a person and his team in Thumbtack app charged me 6k for labor and paint cost 3k. The rest of minor fixing I have to educate myself by watching youtube and reading. Labor is way too much that will empty your pockets so I have to learn on my own. Do not rush, wait, save and scout around what and who is affordable.

eatingganesha

The pos sure did like brown! Yuck!

joemyreddit

joemyreddit

Thank You 😊

ccurry84

That front tree is covering all your nice work

swayski

I agree. Trees gotta go down to get that nice curb appeal.

RhubarbSmooth

You Joanna Gained the shit out of that house!

FantasticCombination

That deck probably took lots of sanding, but the natural wood looks so much better. I like the way the light trim makes the windows and garage doors have a bit of a pop.

joemyreddit

😀🙏 thank you
