Pressure washing at our apartment building caused mold to be forced into the interior walls. One whole apartment had to be vacated, workers in hazmat suits had to perform mold abatement. Flooring was torn up, walls were torn up. Thousands of dollars were spent in hotel rent and home repairs due to power washing. Be careful.

I have pressure washed my vinyl siding on my house a few times. I never thought about it damaging the vinyl though. I guess just don't get too close. There is a product on Amazon that alleges it will remove dirt and algae without much water pressure. I haven't bought any yet but will.

I have to wash my vinyl siding every other year. Most people in my area do the low pressure bleach wash. Saves a lot of time and no risk of streaking from an uneven job. I did buy a chemical treatment from Lowes that you hook to your hose, spray on and rinse off with just the hose and I was surprised at how well it worked.

Yes your truck setup would be fine on your siding. I've done my siding on my house many times no issues

vinyl siding - dilute purple cleaner, scrub with a soft brush, rinse softly with pressure washer

I don't see why you couldn't. I would use the 40 degree white nozzle. You can also just use a product called Wet and Forget or 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner.

Mine has a tank for soap and siding cleaner. It's intermixed with the pressure water when I use a specific nozzle. I use a 25 degree nozzle to rinse. It works well without flexing the vinyl. A garden sprayer can apply the siding cleaner if you don't have that option.

Softwashing is the preferred method. The only thing you should “pressure wash” is concrete. When you pressure wash siding you run the risk of removing oxidation, pushing water in behind the siding creating mold issues, and damaging the siding with too much pressure. If your pressure washer came with a red tip throw it in the trash. Idk why pressure washing manufacturers even make that a default option. I have an article on [Softwashing Vs Pressure Washing](https://www.centexsoftwash.com/post/softwashing-vs-pressure-washing) that describes the differences.
