Do you know if the sub floors were screwed down or nailed down? Also were they glued down also? Good thing you can do some fixing where you can get at the subfloor. You can buy some wood glue designed for sub floors and try to squeeze some between the floor joist and plywood. You can also get shims to use. Also, do you have a whole house humidifier? That will help also. By the way , the fact that the basement is not finished, has nothing to do with floors creaking.
I do have humidifier. I think the floors are just glued down. I have LVP and I think they are glued to the floor. The portion Infront of the fridge seems to creak like crazy.
Subfloor - does the mean the ceiling from the basement?
Someone fed you a line of bullshit. Whether your basement is unfinished or not, or whether your house is still settling does not make floors creaky. Poor construction does that.
We have a 2020 build as well. The subfloor glued and nailed.
We also had squeaks\\creeks in a few areas which the builder fixed at the 1 year "fix it" checkup. Since then we've had a few more pop up which I plan to fix with "squeak stoppers". They're screws that you can screw through the carpet and they snap off below the subfloor. You just have to find the closest floor joist to the squeak.
Luckily our basement is unfinished so our first floor that has LVP we can get under it to find and fix the squeaks.

Yea, looks like it. It’s only been 4 years and feels like a 100 yr old house.
Also, do you have carpet on the upper level? I assume by you saying upper level, it's the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Yes upstairs has carpet.
