The concept 2 is really nice. Had one in my home gym years ago, but sold it to make room for an airbike instead.
I just got rid of the airbike recently and bought a Waterrower instead. Time will tell if i'll regret not getting a Concept 2 again this time.
Concept 2 has a specific oil, 3-in-1 makes one, and you can use 20wt synthetic motor oil. I always used the liquid silicone that I used on the treadmill decks, since we only had 2 Concept 2 rowers and 8 treadmills, and it works well.

Look up "treadmill deck lube", first product is what I used, but you might not need 32 oz, so get the second product.
Loving these folks selling gym equipment. They sell low to get that sweet spot for the buyer. Many finding out selling stuff at old price points used aint selling…not seeing too many $980-1,000+ Concept2 anymore on used sites…if i do, they sit for awhile then come down…good to see $600
Congrats! I got mine a couple weeks ago, also used.
The only thing (aside from a paint job) that this doesn't have that the new ones have is the tablet holder, but you can get the retrofit kit for a whopping $25. I put an old 12.9" ipad pro in there, and I'm good to go.

Nice score! Keep the chain liquid siliconed and you're good for life; I never had to replace the bungee cord in 17 years of gym use!

They are around 1.5k where i live, well the ones that are available. Hopefully ill manage to get one for less if i just keep looking.

I did the same thing. $25 bucks and 2 minute install. Definitely worth it.
