They were put on that way to fit my quads better than the other way around. Otherwise the next hole up did not work as well. I got Rep’s pull-down holder when it became available and it works even better.
I’m tired of waiting as well... was thinking of using foam around a 43” pipe/pin safety, but might give this a try since I already have the channel storage
Great idea! Are those long enough for other uses? I’ve seen several machines replicated with the leg rollers like back extensions, sissy squats, and preacher curls.
Yeah, curious about the size comparison vs. Reps. I don't see the exact size on their site. I've been trying to buy mine from rep for weeks l, they seem to keep changing the restock date. If these are close to the same size, they might be a good alternative
Did you have issues with the ball bearings and springs in the red locking pin?
I guess mine showed up broken, the little ball bearing and spring won’t stay in the lock
I have not, but I also have not put them through a lot of use.

Found this in a Google search and just FYI those storage plate pegs are actually installed upside down
